    “I’m sorry, I think you’re in the wrong car” said Palm, trying to sound reassuring, not wanting to put shame on someone who had clearly made a mistake.
    “Then I’m in the right car, and I would like for you to drive away” said the guy, looking straight at Palm, who was blinking in disbelief.

    Palm, reassuring himself that the light was still red, turned back to take a throughout look at the guy. He was young, maybe in his 20s like Palm, he was wearing the nicest suit that Palm had ever seen, a silver necklace with something in Mandarin engraved on it and a singlet ring on his finger. Palm wasn’t stupid, the guy came from money, everything from his clothes to the way he carried himself screamed poshness.

    Palm thought about what he could say to the guy, maybe he could tell him to get out of his car, ask him about the wedding he had just mentioned, ask him why he was clearly running away, but instead, all that came out of his mouth was “The light is red”.

    “I’m rich, I can pay the bill” said the guy impatiently.
