“It’s too fucking late for that,” Leon rasped as he closed the distance between them, because it’s not fair for her to ask such things when it’s hard to refuse her, to say no, when he already did back at the village, and in order to avoid breaking his own heart he just won’t say anything to turn her away this time. He was still a weak man, and he knew it, but he kissed her with the passion he held in for months, and she kissed him.
