Summary
Greg’s intentions were pure when he arrived in front of Tom’s doorstep. He just wanted to make Tom feel better after sensing how terrible his mood was the entire day. Ranting over a couple of brewskies has become a regular bonding time for them. Almost a sacred thing where they hang out, not as cousins-in-law forced to interact on family occasions, or not as coworkers meeting outside office hours to improve work relations, but as friends who enjoy each other’s company. And the last thing he wanted to do right now was to ruin that.
But then again, this, whatever they were doing right now, could count as Greg “making Tom feel better” as it seemed like Tom was not only encouraging but also enjoying this.
