Fresh Faces

Summary:

As the first order of business, FazEnt sent Sun and Moon to the main workshop to work with them on making them a new face.

While they're gone, a couple of people start to grow nervous. The atmosphere grows more and more tense as they await the two to return.

Work Text:

Monty was very very anxious.

He had been ever since Sun and Moon left for the main workshop. Apparently one of the first things that the higher-ups wanted to do was give them both a face lift and update their appearance.

They had been gone for three weeks. But everyone knew it was going to take a long time for their upgrade. The reason; they would both be involved in the design process. The technicians and designers didn't want to make a bunch of different face plates, only for the daycare attendants to be unhappy with it. So they would get to dictate the look with the team.

Sun had been super excited to leave the pizza 'plex. He was ranting and raving about how cool it was to get to see someplace different and totally new. Moon was more interested in seeing all the cool mechanical stuff and learning how they were made. But he wasn't too thrilled about leaving the 'plex.

Monty had bid them farewell before leaving, giving Sun many kisses and hugging him tightly. He had been very nervous about letting him be taken away to an unknown location by some untrustworthy humans. But it would be fine, because Hadley volunteered to go with as a bodyguard. Or rather… as a tattletale. And apparently Dr. Kamal would possibly be there too, if the rumors about her being a mainstay were to be believed.

He had reluctantly let them leave. But he wasn't the one with the worst reaction. Foxy had absolutely freaked when he found out they were leaving. He had been informed beforehand, but kept getting more and more unsure, until Chica had to restrain him so he wouldn't prevent them from leaving, or attack the staff. He had been even more nervous than Monty was. He was practically a wreck.

Luckily, they had managed to move him into Freddy's room so he wouldn't get lonely. The bear was more than ready to reassure him.

Meanwhile, Monty was just watching the clock and counting the days. He didn't know how long these types of things usually take, so he was worried sick, wondering if something went wrong.

It was starting to get into week four. On that Tuesday, he was hanging out with Roxy in the race course. They were racing each other, trying to take their minds off of their friends for a while. They were in the final lap, and Roxy crossed the finish line way ahead of the alligator. She soon got out of the kart and approached Monty, a big smirk on her face.

"HA! Take that, swamp man! You know you can't beat me in racing! I'm unbeatable!"

He got out of his own kart and sighed heavily, avoiding making eye contact with her. "Whatever… Go karts are dumb anyways…"

"... Hey. Are you still dwelling on Sun and Moon?"

Monty didn't react. He just huffed and turned away from her.

"C'mon man! You gotta unwind a little and have some fun! What good does it do to constantly worry about something you can't control?"

He let out a growl, refusing to look at her out of embarrassment. He felt like such a wimp.

"Look. Everything will be fine. They have someone there who will vouch for them and make sure they don't try anything. And it's what they both wanted. To make themselves look how they want. Maybe it's taking so long because they can't come to an agreement!"

He couldn't help but snort at that idea. The picture of Moon and Sun bickering about whether or not to have blush marks on their cheek was pretty funny. Roxy grinned at that, proud that she got him to laugh.

"A'right a'right! Ya win, pup!"

"I know! We both saw it!" She pointed at her kart, looking very smug as she teased him.

"Oh shaddup! That ain't what I meant!" He gave her a shove while laughing, feeling better now that she managed to lighten the mood.

"MONTY-MOO~!!!"

They both shut up as they heard someone shouting. They immediately turned towards the sound, spotting a rapidly approaching figure. As it got closer, it was quickly becoming apparent who it was.

Monty's shock changed into joy as he started smiling brightly. "SUNSHINE!!!" he was quick to follow Sun's lead, sprinting to meet him. As he got closer, Sun's face was becoming more clear. There was still a big smile on it, but his eyes were squeezed shut from the glee. He couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest seeing it.

The gator spread his arms, preparing to swoop his boyfriend up into a big hug. But Sun was way ahead of him, as he closed the distance by pouncing at him and flying into his embrace. Monty caught him easily and wrapped him up tightly in his arms. "Sunny! Babe! You're back! And-" he took a pause, taking in his new face.

He looked so… cute. No more harsh details and unsettling wrinkles. His face was way smoother and cartoony, looking kind of soft, like it was made of rubber. He had faint pink circles on his cheeks, resembling blush (looks like Sun won that argument in Monty's head). He could see Sun's lips moving, forming a closed mouth smile. And… his eyes. They were no longer those pearls that he was used to, but instead a bright, lit up pair of moving eyes with these cheerful sky blue irises.

He looked amazing.

"... … … Ye're so purrty…"

Sun gave a lopsided smile and a look of adoration, eyelids lowering slightly and the lower right one rising a tiny bit. He couldn't stop staring at him and examining every detail about him.

"Thanks, Mont. I'm so very happy you like it. I was kinda worried you wouldn't."

"Ya kiddin' me?! Ya look amazing! I love your old face, but this… this is what you wanted to look like, which makes it way prettier!"

Sun's expression turned shy, making him turn his head away and giggle softly. Monty also heard his fans click on, which he found adorable. "Gee. Thanks love. I-" he cut himself off abruptly as he appeared to remember something. "Oh! Oh! I almost forgot! I have to show you something!"

Monty raised a brow, curious. What new little neat features did Sun get after his upgrade? "So! See my eyes? They are different from yours and the others! They thought it might be more appealing if I could emote with them more, so they decided to make them little screens or something like that! They are way more flexible that way! Which means… I can do this!"

As he said that, the daycare robot leaned down so he'd be just below eye level. Monty watched him in confusion. Then, Sun raised his head so he was looking up at his boyfriend with a pair of blue, heart shaped pupils. "My Mont~" he said softly, gazing at him with those hearts.

… … …

The gator was speechless. He had never seen anything so sweet and beautiful before. He could feel himself quickly growing hot, at risk of overheating from the pure attraction he felt to Sun right then. He just stared and stuttered out nonsense.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!! HOLY SHIT! YOU'RE SUCH A FUCKING SIMP!" Roxy burst out laughing at the flustered alligator, reminding him that she was still there. He whipped around to her with the rage of a hundred bulls.

"SHADDUP, YA BITCH!!! DON' MAKE ME COME OVER THAR AN'-"

He was interrupted by a finger placed under his chin, turning his head back to his smiling boyfriend. His anger vanished pretty quick at that.

"Ignore her, dear. She's just jealous that she's single" Sun said, loud enough so Roxy was sure to hear it. She was stunned by that smooth comeback from the sweet and polite attendant. Monty was impressed, looking up at him with such admiration and love. "God ye're so hot when ya get sassy. I jus' wanna smooch ya!"

"Oh! That's another thing I should mention! See, my face can move like this because it's made out of silicone! There are these weird things behind it that allow me to move them like this! Which means… I have moving lips now~."

Monty lit up at the revelation. He was right! He had been moving them whenever he talked. Which meant… holy shit.

"R-really?"

"Here. Let me show you!" Sun then puckered his lips and started leaning in towards his boyfriend, ready for a kiss. Monty was so excited, he just jittered and waited in anticipation.

"WOMEN!!!"

That sudden yell caused Monty and Sun to yelp and the gator stumbled against Sunny. He caught him easily and looked over at the disturbance, as did Monty.

"Geez, leather boots. I knew you were gay, but I didn't think you were scared of women!" Moon snickered evilly at him, giving this smug, mocking, punch-able smirk that immediately pissed him off.

"MOON! WHAT THE HELL?!? Ya really wanna get decked so bad?! Ye interrupted me and Sun! Ya fuckin' cock-block!"

Moon just chuckled and crossed his arms, giving him a raised brow. His face was much the same as Sun's, except for his eyes, which were fully red with white pupils. His new face gave him all the tools necessary to look so mischievous and dickish. It absolutely made him want to punch him that much more.

"What?! Whatcha lookin' at?! Can't ya see I'm busy with-"

… … …

… … …

… … … Wait.

Monty whipped around to look at Sun, holding him in a hug and trying to restrain a laugh. Then he quickly looked at Moon, who was tapping his foot and pretending to look at a wrist watch. "Any day now… I'm sure he will notice…"

"... Whu… but… wha… I-I… h-h-how…?"

Sunny burst into a fit of chuckles, letting go of Monty to hop over to Moon and lean against him casually. Moon responded by flinging an arm over his shoulder and grinning in amusement.

"Awe shit. He figured us out."

"Moony! Stop teasing him! You're so mean!"

"Ye're… ye're separate? Wh-when did…?"

"At the workshop, obviously, you knucklehead! They asked us if we'd like to have our own bodies, since Ranma informed them of the issues of sharing a body."

"And of course we said YES! ABSOLUTELY! I was so excited to surprise you with it, Mont! So… what… are you thinking?"

Monty stuttered in shock, trying to put his feelings right then into words. But he couldn't really think of any right then. So he just chuckled and walked over to the two and swept them up in a hug. Sun was delighted, hugging him back tightly. Moon was confused and tried to wriggle out of it, disgusted with having to endure this scaley dumbass' embrace. He'd rather die.

"Ah'm so happy fer ya both!!! Sunny! Nightcrawler! This is amazin'! Ya got yerselves yer own bodies! Tha's great!!!" He laughed in pure, unbridled joy as he squeezed them both. That's when Moon gave up on his escape and let the sentimentality get to him. He sniffed quietly and wrapped one arm around Sun. He responded by pulling him into the hug, making it a group hug.

"Man… I can't believe it. You guys really got the luxury apology from FazEnt, huh?" Roxy commented as she walked over, giving Sunny a pat on the shoulder. But he didn't respond, he was too distracted by this blissful moment between the two most important people in his life. Roxy took no offense and just laughed, giving a quick, "I'll leave you boys to it. See you later," before walking off.

*~*~*

"Hey. It's fine, Foxy. I know you're worried about them. I am too. But it will be alright. They have someone there to watch over them, remember. They will be just fine" Freddy tried to reassure the pirate, after he had another bout of anxiety over his crew. He was running a paw down his arm, doing his best to calm him down.

"Yeah. A human… " he responded, with a disdainful tone at the word 'human'. He growled quietly before putting his head in his hand. "Ye can't trust those bilge rats! They be as trustwort'y as a hungry shark! 'Specially to me crew! Them flea-bitten, honorless rantallions! They have treated me hearties like shark-bait! Like pest! They do not be deservin' any fait'."

"I understand, but please. Believe me when I say that they're not all so bad!"

"BAH! HOGWASH! They all be bad!"

"No! They're really not! There are some really nice ones! Like the two who helped me report the issue in the first place! One was Sun and Moon's tech, Yosuke Sasaki. He's a good friend to them."

"I still don' be trustin' them wit' me mateys! The only reason I'm not runnin' to their rescue is because I trust them. If they be wantin' this, then I will respect them!"

"Foxy…" Freddy could only sigh and shake his head. He had no idea what to do with this man. Nothing he said was enough to convince him, that stubborn fox.

Then they were both interrupted by a knock on the door. Foxy jumped and yipped in surprise, making Freddy have to restrain a laugh. But he quickly patted the pirate's back and stood up to check who it was.

He opened the door and peeked out, seeing a very big grin greeting him. Sun stood right outside, bouncing on his heels and absolutely exuding giddiness. Freddy lit up as he saw him, smiling joyfully. "Sun! Moon! You're back!"

"WHAT?!?" Freddy was quickly shoved out of the way so Foxy could confirm that it really was them. When he saw Sun, his face immediately flushed with pure relief and happiness. He threw his arms around him and pulled him down to his level, ruffling his rays with his paw. "MATEYS!!!"

"FOXY~!" Sun cheered and crouched down, hugging him back with all his might. Foxy kept a hold of him for a solid couple of minutes, just laughing and talking about how worried he was. Sun listened and rubbed his shoulder, feeling a slight twinge of guilt for getting him so worked up. But once he pulled back, he seemed very embarrassed.

"Yar… I shouldn't be sayin' that. After all, ye have pirate's blood in yer code! Can handle ye-selves just fine!"

Sun couldn't help but grin like a dork and cover his face, wondering if this new face came with the ability to blush. He sure hoped not.

"Sun! You look amazing! I can't believe it only took four weeks to give you such an expressive and nice looking face! Is it made of silicone? Genius! Where did they get such a wonderful idea?" Freddy chimed in as he praised the daycare robot's new look, walking over to stand beside the pirate.

"… … W-well… um… I-I-I'd rather n-"

"Watch ye tongue, Freddy! Don't ye mean Sun and MOON'S face! I don't be gettin' what was so wrong wit' ye old'un, but if this be what makes ye happy, then I be happy too!"

"Awe! That's so sweet of you, Foxy. But… Freddy was actually right in his assumption."

They both looked confused, not sure what that was supposed to mean. They just glanced at each other quizzically. That was, until they heard someone speak behind them.

"Yeah. And, clearly, I'm the more handsome one now~."

They whipped around and spotted Moon, hanging in the doorway and smirking at them. They were both left stunned, looking between the two attendants. They had no idea what to say. Moon quickly got down on the ground and leaned against Freddy, chuckling in amusement to himself.

"Looks like our book club just got a lot more hours, huh?"

"I… I can't believe it. You're… separated. That's… that's… fantastic! I-" the bear's brain seemed to finally register what Moon said and his eyes started sparkling gleefully. "Oh my goodness… so much more time to talk about the books."

"Indeed! I literally can't wait! I am so freaking excited to sit down and talk for hours and hours without having to worry about some stupid-" As Moon was rambling energetically, he got cut off by Foxy's hook gently nudging his shoulder. He turned towards him with a curious hum.

The fox's face was filled with… what appeared to be disbelief. His paw moved up to gently cradle his face, making Moon stare back at him awkwardly. "Um… Foxy?"

"... I… I… I cannae believe it… the curse is l-lifted… m-me crew is whole again… they broke the spell…"

"Foxy?" Sun asked meekly, walking over to put a hand on his back. It seemed to be enough to immediately snap him out of his weird state, letting go of Moon and shrugging off Sun. He then backed up a bit and groaned softly. "S-sorry, hearties! I-I… I be needin'... To take care of somethin'! Really sorry! I'll be seein' ye back in the quarters!" He quickly excused himself before running off towards the daycare. Moon was about to chase after him, but was stopped by Freddy.

"Let him go. He's… got a lot to process right now. And he doesn't seem comfortable being too vulnerable in front of people at the moment. Give him some time."

He looked at Freddy for a quiet moment before nodding begrudgingly. Sun walked over and gave him a big hug. "Don't worry. It's a lot. Let's give him some privacy to think."

"Yeah… guess you're right."

*~*~*

Sun had gone off to cuddle with Monty in his room, just wanting to have some private time with him. Meanwhile, Moon had someone else he wanted to visit. Someone he had been dying to see ever since he got his new face.

So he waited for the elevator to open, letting him out into the hallway leading to the arcade and dancefloor. He stepped out and looked around casually. No music playing. That was weird. Usually DJ takes every opportunity he gets to play some tunes. Maybe he was sleeping. That would expl-

"HI. PLEASE TAKE THIS M-"

He turned to map bot, who had approached him with one hand extended. But they stopped once he turned to look at them, clearly shocked into silence. That was a first. Their map giving usually can't be stopped by anything, short of threats and yelling. He was amused by it.

"Hello map bot. Nice to see you. Say, is DJ here? And is he awake?"

Map bot looked at him for a few seconds before nodding at him. He grinned and patted them on the shoulder. "Thanks. Oh, and what do you think of my new face?"

They quickly gave him a thumbs up.

"Thank you. Have a great map-pushing day" he bid them farewell before continuing, heading towards the dance floor.

He peeked inside and saw Music Man. He was lying on his stage behind the turntables. It wasn't dark in there, but the disco lights weren't on. He usually liked to have either of those, rather than the regular lights.

He was resting on his folded arms, head buried in them. He appeared to be sleeping, which map bot had confirmed he wasn't. The lies! So he decided to sneak over there for a little peek at the giant, to confirm.

He snuck up into one of the tunnels to get an overhead view of the DJ. Once he poked a head out, he could see him better. But, weirdly enough, he wasn't asleep at all. He was just staring blankly at the wall, not doing anything in particular. And he sure wasn't off, because Moon could see him moving slightly.

That's weird… DJ hates it when he can't do something fun or productive. Why would he choose to just lay there and stare off into space? Is… something wrong?

Damn it. Now he was concerned. Why couldn't DJ act like this before his upgrade? Now he had to show off his new face while his friend is upset, like some asshole.

But he couldn't possibly leave him while suspecting him to be feeling down. He had to check in on him now. So Moon climbed back into the tunnel and moved to another opening, behind the big animatronic. He hopped out and walked up to him, trying to speak to get his attention. But his words seemed to catch in his voice box, hindering him from speaking. Why was he suddenly so nervous? It's just DJ. He can talk to DJ about anything. He wouldn't be mad.

"... … … DJ."

The giant jolted at the timid voice calling his name. He snapped out of his spacey state and turned around to face the daycare attendant. As soon as they locked eyes, he was left totally stunned.

Music Man had been pretty low ever since the big blowup with Sun and Moon. He heard about it from that tech girl who was there at the time. She didn't go into specifics, only said they had a big revelation moment and made up after having an argument.

He was happy to hear about them learning more about each other and being open and honest about things. He was overjoyed knowing they finally addressed their problems and came to an understanding.

… Then why was he so upset over the news?

It made no sense to him. Why was he feeling so wound up over something he had been hoping for for so long? Why was he mad that Moon managed to talk with Sun, like he had encouraged him to do? It was completely baffling to him!

And the two of them going away before he could have a proper conversation with them didn't help that fact. It just made those feelings stew and bubble up inside him slowly. It was like a balloon was very slowly filling with air. He was just praying it wouldn't explode before he could release it all.

He hadn't been doing a lot aside from taking naps and playing random music from whatever playlist he decided to shuffle. He hadn't even been in the mood to talk with anyone. He told them all that he would rather be left alone, waving them off before going back to lazing around.

It was seriously becoming concerning. But he didn't care. He only cared about figuring out why he was being so cruel to his little buddy.

Then, out of nowhere, Moon suddenly returned. He was standing right in front of him, face twisted into a concerned, shy expression. It took Music Man a couple of seconds to even register the fact that he was emoting at all. That's when he also realized that his face was looking very different. He looked like a whole new Moon.

DJ remained quiet for a couple more seconds, trying to gather his thoughts enough to form words. He just beeped softly and leaned in closer.

"... Y-y-yeah… it's me. Been… been a wh-while…" moon mumbled awkwardly and rubbed his neck, eyes drifting to the side to avoid eye contact. DJ stared for another tense moment before he let out a rising note, motioning towards him in amazement. He couldn't believe it was him. He looked so nice and new!

Moon squeaked softly and went stiff from surprise. The compliment was so sudden that it just had him stunned. As soon as he recovered, he pulled his nightcap down over his face and groaned. "Th-tha-thank…"

DJ chuckled at his demeanor, reaching out and rubbing his head playfully. He made a few more comments about how it would be a lot harder to scare him now. But Moon didn't respond, he just stood there and kept his eyes on the floor.

"... … Hey… is… everything alright with you?" He then asked, keeping his voice low and soft. DJ immediately pulled back and bleeped in shock. He was taken off guard by the question. Had Moon seen him brooding earlier? Probably. Moon was very sneaky, so he wouldn't put it past him. But he'd really hate to rain on his parade, now that he got such a huge upgrade, so he just laughed and waved him off.

"Don't bullshit me! You might have a good poker face, but I can tell when you aren't feeling well. It's all over you. What's going on?"

He got a little nervous, trying to figure out the best way to de-escalate the issue. He couldn't talk about it yet. He didn't even know what was wrong, so bringing it up at that point would be stupid.

He couldn't think of any excuse, so he tried to just convince Moon that he really was fine.

"Stop lying to me! You are not fine! Tell me what's wrong!"

DJ rumbled in irritation and told him that there was nothing wrong. He was totally ok. To stop causing a scene.

"Not until you stop bullshitting and be honest! I can see you are doing terribly! Spill it or I'm-"

'Or you're what?' DJ asked in a bassy note, leaning down to be at face level with the attendant. He sounded way more aggressive than he's ever been. It wasn't even that bad, but for someone who never gets upset, it was shocking.

But Moon didn't let up. He kept his eyes sharply trained on the giant robot, standing his ground while thinking up a fitting way to finish that sentence.

"... … … … … Or I'm… I-I'm…"

…

…

…

"... DJ. Why are you being like this? You never get upset in front of anyone. And suddenly you're acting… like this? It's scary. Please, let's just talk it out."

He sighed heavily at the tonal change, moving his head away and lowering his body onto the ground. He made some distorted beep-boop sounds as he avoided looking at Moon. But Moon just walked around to stand in front of him again. "DJ. Please. I care about you. You are always there for me, so let me return the favor."

He growled and shifted his head to the opposite direction, annoyance growing as Moon just kept following. Always so stubborn and persistent. He didn't even bother answering and just continued shifting.

"… … … Do you… just not want to talk to me?"

For some reason, that line pissed him off. It was a reasonable question, considering how he was acting. But it just felt like such a slap in the face right then. He turned to Moon and raised his voice, playing a couple of slightly too loud record scratches. Moon stopped in his tracks as he registered what he said.

"H-huh? D-d-dr. Kamal? What about her? What do you mean by 'ready before'?"

DJ saw his confusion and immediately deflated, his rage disappearing very fast. He let out another sigh and laid his head on his folded arms, staring at the floor quietly.

"... … … Wait. Is… is this about… our talks about having a heart-to-heart with Sun and me? Are you… mad that I got help from Ranma rather than you???"

He sank further into his arms, realizing that, yes, that was exactly what was happening. He was mad that Moon would rather trust someone who's practically a stranger over his friend, who he's known for years. He hid his face in his gloves and answered ashamedly.

"... … … I… ugh. DJ-"

He interrupted him and started ranting about how he knows! He knows that it's unfair and selfish of him! That Moon didn't do anything wrong and he's just being self-absorbed! He knows!

Moon didn't respond, he just stood there and stared at him, his face showing off his restrained nerves. He was clearly trying to find a solution to the issue, the correct course of action for such a situation. It made Music Man feel even worse about his outburst.

"... Hey. It's… it's alright. I'm sorry if I made you feel like your opinion doesn't matter to me. It does."

DJ bleeped softly and kept avoiding eye contact as Moon sat down cross-legged beside him.

"No. It's not unreasonable. Look, the reason I didn't come to you was because I wasn't ready. When the whole ordeal with Sun and Ranma happened, I wasn't ready then either. It was an accident that led to all these feelings coming out. It wasn't nice. But… it was necessary."

He asked Moon why he immediately went to Dr. Kamal and not him as soon as he realized he needed help.

"Because I was scared and didn't know how to handle everything. My first thought was that I need professional help to deal with a complicated issue. I didn't want to dump this on someone who might not be ready to deal with it. You have feelings too and I don't want to force you into a tense, emotional, complicated situation. She's trained to take care of those types of problems, so…"

DJ quieted down as he listened to his explanation, just feeling himself growing more and more guilty as he forced Moon to explain himself when he really didn't owe him anything. He has every right to choose who to bring his problems to and if he wants to accept help or not. It's his decision. DJ was just being conceited, thinking he owed him any emotional vulnerability.

"I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry if I did. You are… a great friend. You give great advice and support. You are the furthest from selfish I can imagine."

He just scoffed at his last claim, once more hiding his face in his gloves out of shame. Moon turned to him with an incredulous smile, raising a brow and putting his fists on his hips.

"Really? You're going to be that way? The guy who comforts me every time I come here with an issue? The guy who lets me tease him constantly and barely ever fires back? The guy who never shares his own problems and constantly worries about others? If that's selfish, then I'm made out of fucking cheese!"

DJ chuckled at the unexpected joke, lifting his head and rubbing his eye lightly. He then looked at his pal, seeing him scoot closer as he also laughed.

"Seriously though. You're not selfish. Remember what you told me about feelings, when I was upset about Sun and Monty getting together? You said that, whichever way you feel, it's valid. You are allowed to feel hurt, even if it wasn't intended as a slight towards you. You can't help how you feel. Right?"

The large bot stared at his smaller friend, listening to him as he used his own advice against him. He had no rebuttals to that. It made sense. The way he was feeling wasn't all that different from Moon's feelings back then. So… it still applied. So he just gave him a little nod.

"Right. Even if I didn't do anything wrong, I'm still sorry for making you feel bad. Maybe this could have been avoided if… I don't know… I wasn't such a bitch?"

DJ laughed out loud. He wasn't ready for that swear bomb casually dropping into their heartfelt conversation. That's just like Moon. He put a hand to his back and assured him that he wasn't that much of a bitch.

"But a little bit of bitch, you gotta admit!"

He remained quiet, thinking about it for a moment. Then he held his hand up, index and thumb held a tiny bit apart as he bleeped. Moon chuckled and leaned back against his other hand, sighing softly. "There we go! Finally come to an agreement! Now… if you wanna talk about it a little more, I'm all ears."

DJ hummed happily and laid back down, shaking his head a little as he let out a bit-crushed yawn.

"Alright alright. A little nap wouldn't hurt, I suppose" Moon mumbled and laid his head back, listening as DJ's systems were slowing down.

…

…

…

"Oh yeah. I forgot to mention. Me and Sun have our own bodies now."

The big animatronic shot up and whipped towards him at record speed, a questioning discordant sting blasting from his speakers. Moon toppled over to the floor and cackled loudly at his reaction, finding it so funny that it had him kicking and wheezing.

Guess I don't need that 'which daycare attendant is talking' disclaimer anymore (:
