Her name is Marinette. She had a massive secret. You see most witches were not very nice. Marinette was the nicest witch in all the world, but being a nice witch was only part of her secret. Marinette LOVED to sew and create beautiful clothes out of fabrics she found all around. This was the big secret that she hid because other witches had made her an outcast because of it.
Although she could create the most beautiful clothes, she often wore the same outfit. It was a fancy kind of dress that flowed to the floor and had medium length butterfly sleeves with a black bow around the narrowest part of her torso. The dress itself was a magnificent shade of red with black spots starting at mid torso to the hem of the dress. With the dress she wore arm-length black gloves and a beautiful red jeweled necklace. A very wide brim red sun hat with the most gorgeous red flowers, feathers and accents you have ever seen. To complete her design, she wore a red with black spotted mask.
Marinette normally stayed in the woods around her cottage. A few times a month she would pack things up and go to the nearest town. You see, the “things” she would pack were the latest clothes that she had designed and handmade. In town there was a small clothing shop named:
Ladybugs Boutique by MC
The shop is owned by none other than Marinette herself! She had worked hard in designing and creating clothes to fit everyone. After months of planning, she finally went for it and opened her own boutique. Which is now the most popular clothing shop in the entire town!
When she would visit her shop, she really wouldn’t talk to anyone except her only worker, Zoe. Zoe was the best at her job. She kept the shop clean, organized and was always super friendly with all the customers. No one in town including Zoe knew her real name. Most just called her MC or Ladybug. Marinette would make her way to the shop, drop all the new clothes off, make sure things were as they should be and then she would leave again.
On her way home one afternoon when she was just about at the woods edge, she saw a little black cat just sitting there. Now this wasn’t much out of the ordinary. She had started seeing this cat a few weeks ago, but she did wonder “does this cat only show up on days I visit town or is it there more often? Oh, well!” she thought. After the first week she had taken to petting the cats head right behind its ear just before she entered the woods headed home.
