Summary
Do you believe in the butterfly effect? You know, the idea that one little small thing can cause immense, and sometimes even catastrophic changes to occur not in that moment but later in time. There have been many butterfly effect examples. So many in fact that it’s difficult to name them all. Even if you believe such an idea as the butterfly effect exists or not isn’t the point.
Where am I going with all of this? You must be asking yourselves… I think. Well, this is more a dramatic way of describing the rewrite of Trigger Happy Havoc, the first game in the Danganronpa series. Although it won’t have as serious of a twist as some of the other stories you may encounter. This one will do its best to well… be there. I’m not sure how to describe it, you know.
Anyways, what if the very same concept of the butterfly effect that I was alluding to in the beginning of this summary came into effect here? Sure, that’s what all rewrites do of course. Most of the lore contained in Danganronpa will stay the same, but I’ll be tweaking it just a bit of course. I mean, it wouldn’t be a rewrite without some tweaks to the original narrative.
