Work Text:

The sun was making its entrance in the skies, when Kate opened her eyes, feeling a kick in her bladder.

She feels her face make a little grimace, while she is patting her belly fondly, twisting and struggling, while trying to find a way to get out of bed.

When she finally manages to make it, to go to the bathroom, she feels a sharpe twinge in her back.

The pain was no longer a stranger to her, not at this point of her pregnancy, nor the false contractions, so, she decides to just observe, before alarming Anthony.

He was sleeping peacefully in their bed, his handsome face, mashed, against the pillows.

He must have been tired, to not even woken up, with all of Kate's movements.

Truthfully, they both were. Since her baby had turned in her belly, she hadn't had a good night's sleep, except for last night, when Anthony had extended a helping hand to her.

They were supposed to stop there, Anthony feared for the baby, at this point of her pregnancy, since he knows that an orgasm could trigger earlier the labor, but, all it took for both of them, was for him to just start, for them not being able to control themselves….

For a change… she though, sarcasticlly. After all, that's how they ended up in this situation… she thinks, as she remembers fondly of their little escapade, on their yacht.

Kate loves her husband, she loves how devoted he is to her, how he desires her with the same passion, even after all these years of being married.

She loves to live her years at his side, seeing how he grows and changes, but, his love remaining the same, always growing.

But, her favorite change, was seeing him became a father, he is so loving to their children, that Kate falls a bit more in love with him, every time that she watches him with them.

So, Kate finds no reason to complain in herself, she loves her children… she thought she knew love, until her first pregnancy.

Carrying her child all the way, feeling him grow and gaining life inside her, was a magical experience.

Bringing her son into the world, having him in her arms for the first time, being able to smell him, had filled her with such an adoration, with a kind of love... that she'd wanted nothing more than just to be close to her baby.

Her children delighted her. They were the absolute joy of her life. So, Kate yearned for having her baby girl in her arms, but, she would be the one who would choose the day when she would greet them.

It could very well be today, or not... She thought, sighing. She would not fret…

Besides… Daphne had asked for a family brunch, saying that she had important news to deliver.

They had decided to have the brunch there, as it was more comfortable for Kate.

Her Amma would arrive soon, with her Appa, to help her with the preparatives.

They had agreed to stay, rather than rush back to India, once Kate had given them the news of her pregnancy.

Unfortunately, Sophie, having just given birth to little Violet, was not coming, as Benedict. And Francesca and Michael, who were on their honeymoon.

This makes Kate remember fondly of the sunny days they'd spent in Tuscany, during their honeymoon, making love on the flowery fields, careless of the world.

Kate knows that the family thought they had remained as such, and… that wasn't untrue. Being able to find her better half soon, as she had found Anthony, had made them both feel blessed.

They always cherished their relationship, never failing to steal whatever time they could for themselves. They loved to love each other, to share their lives, their days, loving to build a family with each other.

Kate leaves their bedroom, walking down the hall, going to wake up the children, but, they were already awake, and, not in their bedrooms.

She goes downstairs, curious, hiding behind the door frame, listening to her children in the kitchen.

“Appa said that we have to help him, to take care of our Amma, and, our new sibling, now that our sibling is due to arrive, and, she will be very tired, and, she will have to give more attention to the baby.” Anya was saying, with all the seriousness that a 9-year-old girl could convey.

“Amma is already tired all the time.” Mayan pointed out, a bit grumpy, showing his 11 years well.

“Appa just wants for us to be cooperative, to act like a family should act in times of change, sticking together and supporting each other…” Edmund said, looking older than his 13 years.

Until he added, looking at the whatever it was that Anya had tried to made. "I doubt that he meant for us to poison our Amma."

“If you guys actually helped me to proper cook….” Anya grumbles.

Kate laughs, and, it exposes her.

Newton wakes up from his nap, and, runs to her, barking, catching the attention of her children.

“Amma!” They exclaim.

“Good morning, dear loves. So, you guys decided to do the brunch?” She asks, with mirth.

“We want to help you, Amma!” Mayan tells.

Earning a glare from Anya.

“Indeed, Amma… that's why I was trying to stop them from cooking…” Edmund says.

“Well, I appreciate your help, but, your grandma is coming, and, she's going to make kulfis, what do you think about saving your culinary endeavor for another time?” Suggests Kate.

They perk up, but, before they can say anything, Anthony appears, entering and placing his hands on her belly, pressing his body against hers, kissing the junction of her neck and shoulder, emitting a satisfied purr.

“Ugh…” Mayan exclaims and just leaves.

“Come on, Newton, let’s go for a walk in the gardens, boy.” Edmund calls for Newton, in a weary tone.

While Anya leaned her elbows on the counter, and, her face in her hands, letting out a dreamy sigh.

This catches Anthony's attention, who says happily. “Good morning, Princess!''

“Morning, Appa… I tried to convince the boys to cook, but, they didn't want to… But, Amma said that Grandma will come to make the brunch… And I will stay by her side, to learn how to make kulfis, so I can make them myself next time…” She tells, in one breath.

Anthony smiles at his daughter and says proudly. “That's an excellent idea, sweetheart.”

The doorbell rings, and, she runs out to greet her grandparents.

They smile at her excitement, exchanging a loving gaze, leaning their foreheads, enjoying having this moment, breathing the other, before sharing a lingering kiss.

Then, Anthony asks. “Why didn't you wake me, my sweet?”

“Because you're as tired as I am…” Is what Kate says, turning to go get a glass of juice from the fridge, thanking the Gods, that Anthony didn't see the grimace that she'd made, at the twinge she felt in her back.

She offers him the juice, which he was going to accept, when they listen: “Amma, Appa, Grandmama and Grandpapa are here!”

It doesn't take a minute, for them to see Edmund and Violet entering the kitchen.

“Good morning, my dears.” Violet says, giving them a hug.

“Anya and Mayan told us they would come over early, to help with the brunch, so we decided to come and help too. I hope we are not imposing.” Edmund said.

“Not at all… this little one is not letting us sleep right now, so we're accepting all the help.” Kate says, going to hug him.

“Ah… I do not miss the last days of my pregnancies… I couldn’t wait for the time when you all decided to show up.” Violet tells.

“We can’t wait either, Mother.” Anthony says, caressing Kate’s belly.

It doesn't take long for Kate's parents to appear, followed by Anthony's siblings.

Colin is the first to arrive, along with Penelope. He doesn't waste time to start to help in the kitchen, and, he takes even less time to start to binge something here and there.

Eloise arrives accompanied by Gregory. He just got out of a troubled relationship, with someone that he'd swore to be the love of his life (she was not), and, he was brooding around. Eloise was the only one cold enough, to resist his moping face and drag him out of bed.

Hyacinth arrives with Gareth and Agatha.

Even though the kitchen was spacious, it started to get crowded, especially with Daphne and Simon arriving soon after.

She was beaming, and, almost walking on air, while greeting everyone.

And, not long after their arrival, she told, animatedly. “I am pregnant!”

Everyone gasps in surprise, and, joy, and, they move the celebration to the gardens, where they have the brunch.

It doesn't take long for the Bridgertons to start betting on the baby's gender, and, to start suggesting names.

That with each new suggestion, it became more and more outlandish.

Getting everyone together for a reunion, with this boisterous group of people, was the same as ask for screams, laughter, at least one heated discussion, and, some, even more heated, competition.

Which was exactly what was happening right now, everyone was sitting by the table, Gregory was throwing berries at Hyacinth, who in return, threw hers at him, as if they were the children.

Anya, Mayan and Edmund ate happily, watching the ping pong action between the adults.

Who discussed baby names, like they were discussing politics.

At least it is amusing… thought Kate, leaning in, to speak to Anthony, softly saying. “Crosby!?… I do not think they are trying to give a valid name, but rather, suggest the most peculiar one.”

Anthony nods, before saying. "At least they're focusing on that, and, not in finding out our little girl's gender..."

He caress Kate's round belly fondly.

Who rolls her eyes and mutters. "It's a miracle that no one found out, with you talking about it at every five minutes."

“Arlo!” Eloise was suggesting.

“Arlo…? Even if we decide to continue with the family tradition, I will not name my baby Arlo.” Daphne replies.

“What about Alora, then?” Suggested Penelope.

Simon just raised his eyebrows and drank some of his wine.

Agatha tried to salvage the situation, seeing that it would soon get out of hand, and, said. “They don't even know the baby’s genre, or if they're going to follow the tradition… not to mention that it's early, maybe…”

But, she is interrupted by Colin, who says. “Ever since I knew the name Mireya, I thought it is a very beautiful one.”

He then gives a suggestive look in Penelope's direction.

Who sends an 'don't even think about it' look, in his.

“For me, it has always been Wrenynn.., if we'd gotten to that number of children, I'd certainly…” Edmund was commenting.

Until Violet choke on her water.

Causing to the Bridgertons present to grimace, and, the others present to laugh.

Making Anya clueless of what they were laughing and grimacing at, including her brothers! Why she was the only one who did not knew of what the ‘joke’ was about?

“I always liked Ophelia.” Kate's mother, Anya, told then, with a smile.

“Yes… We almost named Kate, Ophelia instead, but, when we looked at her face, we realized that she wasn't an Ophelia, but, a Kathani.” Mayan, Kate’s father, told, smiling as well.

As Kate, who is touched by this information, she could not imagine herself with any other name than hers.

This also helps her, because, since Benedict and Sophie claimed the name Violet for their little girl, she and Anthony were going through a long list of names for theirs… The idea that she will know at just looking at her face, reliefs her, specially, because the twinge in her back was not ceasing.

Violet agrees, saying. “Yes… in the end, even when we had decided to name them in alphabetical order, it was only when we saw their little faces, that we decided on a specific name.”

She caresses Hyacinth's face then, who beams.

“I've always liked Larkin…” At seeing everyone's faces, Gregory adds. "What? I also have the right to express a name.”

Gareth agrees and just says. “Ember.”

Agatha glares at them, disapprovingly, negating with her head.

Simon clears his throat, and, says. “What matters is that we have a healthy baby.”

“What matters, is for the baby to be a girl, I'm tired of being surrounded by boys..” Anya, Kate and Anthony's daughter, spoke, glaring at her siblings.

Making the adults laugh.

Mayan and Edmund glared in their sister's direction as well.

That earned one from their parents, which made the children stop in their tracks.

“Very well, since we reached a consensus, that the important thing is that the baby is healthy, I believe it is time for dessert….” Kate announces.

Anthony offers to go to get it for her, but, she wanted to stretch out a bit, the pain in her back was bothering her even more, and, she wanted to see if walking would help to ease it.

What comforted her, was that the contractions had not yet appeared, so if her baby decided to come into the world today, it would still take some time.

Even so, her Amma decides to go with her, as well as Newton, who would not let her go out of his sight, when she was pregnant.

As they unmolded the kulfis, her Amma said. “You should have let Anthony come to get the kulfis, and, remained seated instead, Kathani.”

“I'm perfectly fine, Amma… I'm a doctor, and, this is my fourth baby.” She reminds her.

“So you know that every pregnancy is unique, and, that getting pregnant in your 30s, is different than being pregnant in your 20s.” Anya insists.

“You only had me, Amma.” Kate says, with a sigh.

Then she gives a piece of fruit to Newton, who was wagging his tail, making an expectant look.

“At 36, just like you… So… How long have you been feeling it…?” She asks, tilting her head.

Kate looks at her, as if she doesn't understand, but, Anya raises her eyebrow.

And, Kate sighs again, before speaking. “Since this morning, but, I haven't had any kind of contractions or any other signs that indicate… Oh.”

Kate stopped talking, when she felt a liquid run down her legs.

"I suppose there's your sign." Anya says, calmly, putting her hands on her hips.

By the time that Kate's water broke, Newton had started to bark.

Anthony came quickly to see what was going on, and, when he'd realized that Kate was going to give birth, the previous fuss turned into complete and utter chaos.

The house went into a pandemonium.

Agatha tried to keep everyone calm, Violet pulled the kids, Anya and Mayan, to a corner, while Edmund and Mayan ran after the car keys, Eloise went to call the Dr., Gregory went to call the doula. Anthony and Daphne ran upstairs, to get the baby’s and Kate’s bags.

Colin had run off to do who knows what, but, he tripped over Newton, who was barking with all the movement. Colin fell to the ground, while Hyacinth picked Newton up, to see if he was alright. Gareth helped Colin to his feet, and, Penelope went to clean up the mess on the floor.

Anya and Simon were just watching, at everything that happened, in just mere moments. She was amused. He was terrified, thinking of what it would be like when it was Daphne's turn.

Kate feels a very strong contraction, along with a need to push, and, she knows that there will be no time to get to the hospital.

Edmund, her son, arrives beside her, asking if she was alright.

“I am, my son…” She begins, trying to act calmly.

“But…?” He questions, concerned.

"I'll have your sister here... I'm afraid that the screams might alarm your siblings, can you distract them, while I bring her into the world?" She ask, gently.

Edmund looks at the general uproar, and, then at his Amma, saying, even more concerned. “With all this insanity being displayed, I think they are already distracted and alarmed, but, I'll do my best, Amma… Are you… going to be okay?”

“We are all a little crazy up close, my son. The important thing is that we stick together, in the face of it’s presence and in times like this… That's how I know we'll be okay.” She says, lightly, doing her best to not grimace and end up worrying her son.

Seeing him go to Violet and his siblings, Kate looks to her Amma, who understands that she wouldn't have the time to make to the hospital, just from the expression on her face.

She walks over to her, asking, urgently. "What do you need?"

“I need warm water, towels, to clean the baby's secretions. I need a blanket to keep her warm. I need a basin for the placenta. I need scissors or a knife, disinfected with alcohol, to cut the umbilical cord. And, I need a clean ribbon, to tie to the cord before cutting it.” Kate lists, as urgently.

Her Amma pays attention to everything, going immediately to ensure what she'd asked for, seeing that if she announced it to the family, everything would be even more chaotic.

Simon, who had listened to everything, turned pale.

“Since you heard me, would you mind helping me go to my bedroom?” Kate asks, lowly.

He stalls for a moment, but, promptly starts to help her go out of the kitchen.

He then asks, quietly. “Do you need me to carry you?”

She denies it, pausing for a moment, moaning softly, feeling an stronger contraction. “Maybe to go upstairs.”

When they arrive at the stairs, Anthony and Daphne were coming down, he at full speed, but, Anthony stops in a halt, when he sees her there.

Anthony looks dismayed and worried at the same time.

“Kate, what are you doing here?” He asks, walking down the last few steps fast.

“I need you to stay calm…” She starts to say, breathing through another contraction.

“Kate… what's wrong?” He asks, startled.

"There won't be enough time for us to go to the hospital, Anthony" She tells him.

“What!?" Daphne asks, shocked.

Just like Anthony, who asked at the same time. "What do you mean, there won't be enough time? There has to be enough time…! ''

“Our baby wants to meet us now, Anthony.” She says, tired.

He exhales, placing his hands on his hips, saying dismayed. “We shouldn't have had sex last night… The doctor said that orgasms, at this stage of the pregnancy could trigger the labor…”

This makes Simon and Daphne grimace.

And, despite the pain, which was crossing through her in that instant, Kate laughed.

“Whether it was the orgasm or not, she's still going to be born today, here and now, and, I need to go upstairs.” She says, her voice tone and countenance not disguising her pain.

This sets him into action. He takes her in his arms, heading towards their bedroom.

In the back, Daphne’s voice could be heard. “ Wait a minute, did Kate said she?!”

While Anthony didn’t even notice, mumbling the whole way…. “Are you sure we shouldn’t go to the hospital…?”

“You want for me to give birth in the middle of the street, Anthony?” She asks vexed, feeling another wave of contractions.

"You are certain?" He insists.

“Of course I am certain! I’m just the woman who's going to give the birth!” She says, her vexation rising further.

This shuts him up.

Momentarily.

When Anya enters at their bedroom, right behind them, with what Kate had asked for, he starts to ask again, uncertain, while helping her to settle onto the bed. "Are you sure that it's safe for you and the baby?"

"I am a doctor, I know what to do….” Kate replies, tiredly, lying on her side, taking the pressure off her inferior vena cava.

“You're a pediatrician… “ Anthony lets out.

He knew that he had said the wrong thing, without even finishing the words… But, he was terrified.

It didn't matter that it was Kate's fourth pregnancy… she was having their baby here, in their bedroom, and, so many things could go wrong, he just wanted for them to be okay.

"What did you just said to me, Anthony Bridgerton?" She practically spat, as her eyes narrowed.

"And a brilliant doctor... very competent, my love." He said, nervously.

Her aggravation only grew, as she moaned in pain, grimacing, as she brought a hand to her belly.

She tries to turn around, and, he goes to help her, but, he stops in a halt, when he sees her murderous gaze.

Kate manages to turn around, with difficulty, and, at seeing that her Amma has already put everything in place, she asks, panting. “Can you see if she is crowning, Amma?”

She goes to check on her, and, her Amma just informs her of what she already knew, that her baby was ready to meet her.

Since learning about the pregnancy, all that she has done was to want for her baby to be in her arms, and now, she just wants her even more.

She sits up, gathering her strength to start pushing, her little girl was counting on her to bring her to the world, and, Kate will always be there, for whatever she needs.

Anthony was checking his cellphone, to see if the doula and the doctor were near their house already, but, at seeing her siting up, leaning against the pillows, he stops, immediately.

He rushes to their bathroom, taking out his shoes, cleaning his hands, running back to her, who was already pushing.

“You know… Agh… This is all your fault, for making me dream of a family of my own! Leaving me in this state!” She exclaims, at seeing him approaching her.

"What on earth are you talking about? You talk of children since we were 18!” He replies, disbelieving of her words, while sitting behind her.

"Precisely my point!" She snaps.

"Are you quite serious?" He asks, incredulously, given the preposterous conversation they were having at such moment.

“Agh…” Kate screams in pain, instead of answering.

This stops their bickering, their love always coming first, and, he kisses her forehead, intertwining his hand in hers, saying, supportive. "You've got this. I am right here with you."

Kate nods, breathing with him, feeling grateful for him being there with her, trying to regain her strength. She pushes, and breathes, and, pushes again.

And, it was true, that she would never gave up of her little girl, that she always be there for her, but, childbirth was her least favorite part…

The pain, the feeling of being torn apart, the effort, the exhaustion…. It’s was the biggest of the challenges that she had ever faced, but, Kate wasn’t one to admit defeat, and, for her children, she would conquer this one also.

So, Kate gives a few more pushes, and, that's when she feels, when she hears her daughter's cry.

The sight of her kicking in her Amma's arms, while Anthony's arms are enveloping her, fills her with the purest joy and love.

Seeing Kate bring their child to world never ceased to amaze Anthony, as it never ceased to amaze him to watch them come into life, having their first breath, it always fills him with the purest love and bliss.

She instructs her Amma where to cut the umbilical cord, and, how to take care of what needed to be taken care of, without taking her eyes off of her daughter.

When she is placed in her arms, with Anthony's arms placed around the two, she sees her baby's face up close for the first time.

Perfection. Her baby girl is perfect!

Then she looks at Anthony, they had thought of so many names, but, when looking at their perfect little girl, she knew that their mothers were right, and, that there was only one name.

“Kalyani.” They both say it together.

“Kalyani.. I love it… The beautiful and divine starlight… how befitting for her, my darlings. Well chosen.” Says Anya, thrilled for the birth of her granddaughter, and, for having helped to bring her to life.

Kate puts her nose on her daughter's forehead, smelling it, before kissing it. Murmuring softly, against her skin. “My dear love, you are so welcomed into this world, into our lives. I am your Amma, and, this is your Appa… we will never give up on you, won't be a day where you won't know how much we care and love you, we will be good parents to you, I swear!"

“That’s true my sweetheart, I love you…” Anthony begins, then he turns his face to Kate, saying besotted. "And you, so much, Kate!"

He leans his forehead against hers, letting his hand cradle her face, breathing her, before saying, emotionally. “Thank you.”

Kate places her hand over his, loving the feel of his palm, his warmth, against her face, saying, enamored, as she leans in. “Thank you, beloved. I love you, Anthony. So much.’'

But, the moment is cut short, as the door to their bedroom bursts open, and, a commotion is made, as the whole family tries to enter the room at once.

Newton, being the smallest and shortest, enters, passing between their legs, circling around the bed, wagging his tail, eager to meet the new member of the family.

“Yey! A girl!” Little Anya shouted, running towards them, followed closely by Mayan and Edmund.

As well, as their namesakes and Violet.

The others following close behind.

But, even though they all want to crowd around them, trying to get a glimpse of the little Kalyani, the doctor and the doula arrives, and, they have to leave the room.

Anthony waits by the door, pacing back and forth, worried about the delay.

“I knew I should have insisted for us to go to the hospital! They're taking too long in there… something isn't right.” Anthony was saying, stressed.

“Ugh….” Eloise and Hyacinth muttered.

Colin and Gareth rolled their eyes, as did Simon.

Daphne, Anya and Mayan exclaimed. “Anthony….!”

Agatha didn't even deign to pay him any attention.

Penelope and Violet were trying to distract the children, who were worried after what he’d said.

And, Edmund said, in all seriousness, putting his hand on Anthony's shoulder. “My son… It has been, literally, 5 minutes!”

Then, shortly afterwards, Newton barked, and, Dr. Shankar came through the door, saying that the baby was perfectly fine, as was the mother, and, that the doula was just finishing helping Kate to get more comfortable.

Then he hands Kalyani over to Anthony, who carries his child in his arms for the first time, in awe.

💞

The moon was rising in the sky, its light sneaked through the curtains, illuminating the face of the tiny baby in Anthony's arms.

He sits in the rocking chair, nearby the window, in awe of the baby girl in his arms, a perfect blend of him and Kate, from her skin color, to her curly chestnut hair, to her features, the fruit of their love.

She yawns, and, snuggles at his chest, getting her ear over his heartbeat, just as Kate loves to do.

That makes him look at her, at his beloved wife.

They had been together since they were 18 years old, married for almost 16 years.

The beginning had been so challenging, but, at looking at Kate sleeping soundly against the pillows, he knew it wasn't just his daughter he'd been waiting for, but, for her as well.

Kate, his wife, the mother of his children. He knows that no one could have the impact that she had on him, because she is the one for him, who, with each new day, he just wanted more and more, he just loved her more and more.

Having proposed, instead of giving up on their relationship, was the best decision of their lives, he would never give up on her, of the life they had, of the family they've built.

When looking at his little Kalyani, his bright light, like the starlight that lulled them, in so many nights, blessing their love, making it blossom and grow stronger, leading them to this moment.…

Where they were blessed with their children.

They had talked so much about having a family of their own, since that time, and now… At looking at Kate, and, at the tiny baby in his arms, Anthony knows they've made it.

All those years ago, they'd chosen to believe in their love, and, to trust that they had what they needed in each other, and, that had proved to be true.

Here and now, feeling his daughter nestled close to him, with a whole life  before her, a life that somehow breathed new life into them, a life that he longed to live.

He wants to see her grow up, chase after Newton, tease her older brothers, play dolls with her sister, he wants to see her go to school, make friends, graduate, build a life of her own, knowing how much he loved her, as well as how much she could always rely on him.

Just like she will always be able to count on Kate and with all her love.  He wants to see them gardening together, laughing together, being a daughter and a mother.

When he saw Kate become a mother, his love grew in such a way… that it could no longer fit inside him… Seeing her so fulfilled, so happy, not feeling alone in this world, but, loved instead….

Anthony knows this was the reason he has come into the world, this was why he had waited all his life for Kate, to live a life with her, to built a life with her… a family with her. To have each of his breaths to become a declaration of his love to her.

He wants nothing more, he needs nothing more, than this. To walk over to their bed, place his daughter close to them, watching Kate, instinctively, turn over, towards them, letting out a happy sigh, placing her hand over Kalyani’s little tummy, he intertwines her hand in his, happy to feel it’s warmth.

He sees images passing by his mind, seeing the road ahead of them. He had never felt as strong as in this moment, he knows, that, no matter what, their lives could not go wrong.

It is simply impossible.

He hears their heartbeats and he is free, they give him the strength to tread, the more he holds them closer, the more he feels the love within him grow, turning their bond, into an unbreakable one. A bond that can overcome anything.

He feels so connected to Kate, that it was as if they were one, and thus, holding to his life, her, and their love, their child, in his arms, he sleeps in peace. Knowing that he will always find what he needs, because he has already found it, here.

Kate opens her eyes, briefly, her eyelids heavy from sleep, but, instead of promptly returning to it, she takes a moment to look at them, at Kalyani, finally among them, and, at Anthony, her husband, her love, her life.

How she had dreamed of a family of her own, how she had dreamed of living a love, greater than herself, and now, here, in her arms, she has it, she has all and more, everything.

It wasn’t just her daughter that she was waiting for, or her family, but, him. Anthony, her beloved husband, the father of her children, her one and only. Her dream come true.

She return to sleep, in peace, for she knows that all is well in her world, and, that it would remain so, after all… when she is awake, her dreams come to life, through him, them, and, their love.

Kalyani puts her little hands over her parents', snuggling at them, feeling as warm there, as in where she was before, but, she much prefers being here, surrounded by her parents everlasting love.
