Tara was curled up on her bed, her hands shaking vigorously as she was tearing up and on the verge of crying. She's happy Quinn is her new girlfriend, Tara loves Quinn, but she still feels like a part of her is gone without Amber, and Quinn couldn't even fill the void Amber left.
"Tara?" a voice said from the other side of the door, "Are you okay?"
Tara didn't respond, she was crying. Something was scaring her, losing Quinn.
Quinn sighed, "Can we talk?" she asked.
Tara kept looking down, "I guess," she stammered.
Quinn walked in and lay next to Tara, "Something wrong?"
Tara moved closer to Quinn and rested her head on the redhead's chest, "I'm scared," she quietly said.
Quinn took her hand, "Scared of what?"
Tara sniffed, "I'm scared of losing you on how I lost Amber. I loved Amber, she's dead. Before you, a massive void in my heart was missing, I miss her sometimes. Please stay with me, I don't want to lose you."
Quinn rubbed the smaller girl's back, "I promise I'm never going to let you lose me," she said kissing the top of Tara's head.
Tara looked at her, "I'm happy I have you now, I love you" she said quietly.
Quinn nods, "I love you more."
Tara fell asleep in Quinn's arms knowing she was safe and secure.
