Beatrice will walk to the end of the world and back again if it means she gets Ava back. Ava is that important to her. Living without her is a cruelty, a loss. But Beatrice holds on to hope. She has to. She needs to believe Ava will come back to her, that she can leave Reya's realm. Beatrice needs to believe she will hold Ava again and hear her puns and see her smile. She needs to believe she will kiss Ava again. She needs to believe that she will tell Ava exactly how much she means to Beatrice.
