Lifeweaver sighed, catching the attention of D.Va.
"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked.
"Just tired of people using the wrong word to describe me. Especially one that has so much wrong with it when you start digging beneath the surface of it."
She frowned for a moment. Then the lightbulb went off. "Oh! Do you mean-"
"Yes," he replied, cutting her off as he waved his hand. "That exact word." He shivered. "I truly do not know why it's so hard for people to just say bisexual. There is no need for new words when that one describes everything perfectly."
D.Va shrugged. "Society and years of stigma and erasure?" she suggested.
"That sounds about right. And I imagine things are only going to get worse and set us back even more. Perhaps we'll disappear entirely. Erased completely because people decided that they didn't want to unlearn and fight against such things."
"Thinking like that never helped to change the world. Things will get better, you'll see. People will realize the words they're using are bad and wrong and all of them will disappear. A small blip in a long and proud history of people that never stopped fighting back."
Lifeweaver smiled softly. "Perhaps. We can only hope that it will happen before anymore permeant damage can be done."
