    Summary

Late in the summer of 1995, Hogwarts felt like a distant memory. The year prior had left her scarred in more ways than one. Ivy ran her fingers over the faint marks on her arm, the reminder of the graveyard, the fight, Cedric’s almost-death—and Voldemort's resurrection. No one else really understood what happened that night. Ivy wasn’t sure if even she fully understood it herself.

What she knew, though, was that everything had changed. And there was one thing she still could not reconcile—Cedric had lived. Ivy had been sure he was gone, yet there he was, alive and standing in front of her when it was all over. How?

Cells interlinked within cells. A system. She could feel it, though she couldn’t explain it. Whatever had happened that night in the graveyard wasn’t a fluke, nor was it entirely her doing. Her fate was bound—tightly, almost cruelly. What had once been a life of relative simplicity—summers with Harry, Remus and Sirius, the warmth of a home—had transformed into something darker. Something unavoidable. Almost as if she was bound—not by choice but by destiny. Or maybe something worse. Interlinked.
