Mikoshi was supposed to have been the end. The final goal. The fix. Where she got her body back. Her life back.
Nope.
It had only moved the goalposts. Johnny was gone, sure, but her body had continued to betray her. Six months. Six months to find another miracle.
One thing her solo raid on Mikoshi had done was cement her reputation. She'd achieved what she thought she’d wanted all along.
Night City Legend.
Top merc in the city, bar-none. Her name would be whispered through the ages.
And she’d thrown herself into that life. Had worked gigs, and received paydays she’d only dreamt about. And she’d partied. Hard. Anything to keep her mind off the fact she was dying.
Then Judy left her.
Come along as V continues to adjust to life after Mikoshi. Life after Judy.
She's with someone new. Almost by accident. She's doing her best to move on.
Introducing Ashley Turner. Beautiful, talented, and crazy about our favorite Merc.
She comes from a world of glamour and privilege. Still more adjustments for V as she tries to fit in.
