Prologue
A Hero's Final Farewell
"In this world of chaos, where strength rules all… If the public found out about the true nature of 'One For All,' then the 'chain of negativity' in our society would be placed on Deku's shoulders"- Keigo Takami.
"Wait! You… you haven't eaten anything at all!" said an exasperated, old voice.
In a chilly, dimly lit setting, a blond-haired man stood, his gaunt, skinny figure and deeply furrowed brow betraying concern. In his late forties to early fifties, he wore a black jacket and cargo pants, cradling a warm bento box in his hands. This man was Toshinori Yagi, once celebrated as the number one hero, All Might, and revered as the Symbol of Peace.
"All Might, you don't need to follow me anymore," said a weary young voice.
A tired teenage boy, around sixteen years old, wore an unusual uniform. A yellow scarf with frayed edges was wrapped around his neck, and his green outfit was ripped at the sleeves but concealed by red gauntlets. Iron-black leggings covered his legs, extending down to his red shoes.
His most distinctive trait was a dark green hooded mask that concealed his identity. He resembled a demonic rabbit with deep, dark green eyes and tattered bunny ears on his head.
"I'm fine… on my own… now," said the boy known as Izuku Midoriya. He is a distinguished student at UA Academy, ranking at the top of his class. Additionally, he is the successor to All Might and inherits the Quirk, One For All.
"I can already do it! I can move at 100% without taking any damage, just as you did in your prime!" Izuku declared, weary yet resolute.
"Don't say that!" All Might pleaded, his voice tinged with concern.
'If you keep going like this, you will head towards a gruesome demise. One so terrible that it cannot even be put into words!' All Might grimly remembers his successor's words.
All Might, or rather Toshinori, realized the boy was more than just his successor; he had become family.
He had dedicated his life to Young Midoriya, raising him like a son.
'I want you to show the world that you're here!' Toshinori reflected on the sports festival to inspire Izuku, enabling him to demonstrate what it means to be a hero and to announce his presence to the world.
Toshinori realized that his bond with Young Midoriya had deepened. The more he contemplated this, the more his thoughts filled him with sadness.
He understood the reason. Young Midoriya had assumed his role as the next Symbol of Peace, taking on all of All Might's former duties, aware of the immense responsibility that came with bearing such a burden on his shoulders.
'Your kind heart doesn't want me to get involved in your mission as an inheritor of One For All. That's why you're doing this, Young Midoriya.' Toshinori spoke with solemnity.
Deep in thought, Toshinori was snapped back to reality by the tired voice of the young man he had nurtured, speaking to him one last time.
"So, All Might, don't worry about me anymore." As Izuku turned around for one last time, he gave his mentor a look of relief.
Despite the hellish, monstrous mask that obscured his face, a subtle smile broke through, hinting at the warmth and grit behind it. This smile was not just for show; it signified his unwavering resolve to protect not only himself but also everyone who relied on him. After Izuku voiced his thoughts, he turned away, his heart pounding with a mix of anxiety and exhilaration. He activated the full power of One For All, the vibrant energy crackling around him like a storm ready to burst.
With a leap of faith, he launched himself into the air, soaring upward with the hope of reaching his dreams.
Unbeknownst to him, this moment would mark the beginning of a long and arduous journey, one that would stretch far into the future before he would see All Might again—a mentor, a symbol of hope, and a cherished figure in his life.
"Wait!" In a state of panic, Toshinori cried out and rushed forward to grasp the hand of his successor, swearing to shield him. He had also pledged to Midoriya's mother that he would keep her son safe from harm.
'The weight of responsibility you are carrying!' Toshinori began to recall more details.
'Don't push yourself too hard. It's okay; you can take a break here,' Toshinori thought, welling up with tears.
He needed to let Young Midoriya know that it was okay.
That he could relax.
He doesn't need to pressure himself constantly.
Even heroes aren't perfect. It's what makes you human.
You can't carry the world's weight on your shoulders, not alone.
It's okay to ask for help.
'I need to say that to you!' Toshinori leaped with all his strength, reaching for Young Midoriya's hand, eager to tell him that he was his hero.
"Midoriya, I..." But Toshinori's words were cut short as he landed face-first on the ground, the warm food spilling onto the grass while rain began to pour down on the scene.
"Young Midoriya, you are my hero!" Toshinori cried, tears streaming down his face, realizing that even he, Izuku Midoriya's number one personal hero, could not stop him.
"You know, they say that he appears without making a sound." Rumors about the new "hero" in town began to circulate among the random pedestrians.
"Yeah, I heard he has multiple quirks. Does he have some connection to All For One in many ways?
"Yeah, maybe, but isn't that like All For One's ability to do that?"
"Do you think he's a nomu or something?"
"But apparently, he's here to help. But hey, I hear he's covered in scars, blood, and mud all over him!" The civilians continue to gossip in fear.
Rumors of unease have begun to spread as accounts of a demonic entity possessing grotesque and eldritch tentacle-like powers emerge from various parts of the community. As dark, menacing clouds gather and rain begins to fall, an overwhelming sense of confusion and dread engulfs the atmosphere. Observers are left to question whether the tumultuous weather is a mere coincidence or a malevolent manifestation of this sinister presence.
Eyewitnesses provide chilling reports of dark green lightning flickering ominously around the figure, illuminating its writhing appendages with an otherworldly glow. The vigilante's grotesque and profoundly inhuman appearance defies logical explanation, prompting many to label it as a "blight upon society."
His presence has provoked fear, curiosity, and questions about humanity's essence and the limits of existence, leaving people to wonder about the mysterious motivations of this vigilante and what his true intentions might be.
The residents of the city found themselves grappling with the unsettling truth that extended beyond their conventional understanding, fervently hoping it would not lead to the worst.
"But hey, it's one thing for sure: He doesn't look anything like a hero…" That's the term that everybody seems to agree on.
Izuku Midoriya had become a hero.
Albeit different from the manner he had anticipated.
In a tough decision to protect his loved ones, he left UA Academy without warning after discovering the serious threat All For One posed with his ability to steal Quirks. Before leaving, he wrote a heartfelt note to his classmates, sharing the heavy truth of his secret: his lack of a Quirk and the shocking truth that All Might had passed on the legendary power of One For All to him.
The note captured the turmoil of his emotions and the resolve behind his choice, hoping they would understand the peril he felt looming over them all.
Gran Torino, weakened and nearing the end of his life, confronted death fearlessly during the fierce attack by the Liberation Army, almost falling to Shigaraki's immense power. In a heroic and selfless act, he fought to protect Izuku, embodying the essence of a true mentor. To honor the old timer's lasting legacy, Izuku donned the bright yellow scarf his mentor had given him.
This vivid piece of fabric now represented more than just a mere accessory; it became a profound symbol of hope and the steadfast conviction that, in certain moments, heroes who sacrifice themselves for others exemplify the highest form of saving innocent lives.
With unshakable resolution, Izuku leapt into action. His hands, smeared with blood and caked in mud, told the tale of the relentless assassins on his trail. Those scars became his driving force, pushing him to keep moving forward.
The young hero stood firm in his resolve, the weight of his promise heavy upon him. He swore to avenge his loved ones, the faces of those he had lost flashing vividly in his mind. As he spoke to Nana, his voice was imbued with fierce determination. He vowed that he would not only stop Shigaraki but also save him from the insidious grasp of All For One's manipulation.
He understood that true strength came not just from power but from the willingness to take on burdens for the sake of others. He declared that he would shoulder this responsibility alone, driven by the desire to protect those he cared about.
He was painfully aware that, as All For One's new target, a looming threat hung over him and everyone around him.
Without hesitation, he promised that no harm would come to anyone, his resolve radiating like a beacon of hope amidst the chaos.
Defeating All For One was a tough challenge that demanded unwavering resolve and relentless sacrifice. His heinous crimes made it crystal clear that he had to be stopped, no matter the cost. The countless deaths, including innocent bystanders, brave pro-heroes who gave their lives to protect others, and even a former mentor, serve as stark evidence of his brutality. This chaos sparked a war that transcended expectations, becoming a monumental struggle that goes against the very essence of true heroism and justice in their world.
This moment marked the beginning of the climactic finale. As the final inheritor of One For All prepared for confrontation, he recalled Stain's chilling doctrine—an ideology that denied redemption or change for those deemed villains. Caught in the stark divide between heroes and villains, Izuku felt adrift in a society grappling with moral ambiguity, forcing him to confront what it truly meant to be a hero.
He had transformed into the very embodiment of the ideals that Stain had envisioned, walking a path strikingly similar to that of the infamous Hero-Killer. Yet, in stark contrast to Stain's cold and bloodthirsty approach, he was driven by a profound sense of compassion and an unwavering determination to breathe life back into a society he believed had lost its way.
He sought not destruction but redemption, working tirelessly to uncover a means to restore hope and light to a world overshadowed by cynicism and despair.
With every challenge he faced, Izuku's resolve only deepened, fueling his quest not just to be a hero but to redefine what it truly meant to protect and serve the people around him.
That is why Stain held him in high regard. He was a true hero, driven by a genuine commitment to justice. His unwavering determination to capture All For One was matched by his desire to save Shigaraki from a tragic fate. This dual mission showcased Izuku's complex understanding of heroism as he sought to fight darkness while offering a chance for redemption.
In the wake of the Liberation Army's relentless actions, the truth about One For All has come to light, leaving a profound impact on everyone involved. The haunting memories of watching his mentors fall on the battlefield, their lives extinguished by the brutal clash, weighed heavily on his heart. Moreover, he has been forced to confront the terrifying reality of seeing his friends courageously put their lives on the line, facing unimaginable dangers that nearly cost them everything.
This tumultuous journey has not only tested their strength but has also profoundly scarred them, and the sacrifices made in the name of their cause.
The chaos began with one certain villain's insatiable thirst for power, ready to sacrifice many pawns to ensnare Izuku. Among them was Lady Nagant, a former pro-hero manipulated by All For One. Tasked with coercing Izuku, she found herself in a perilous situation, nearly losing her life after failing to fulfill her mission, highlighting the dangerous extent of her involvement.
The malevolent villain thrived on the suffering of others, toying with Izuku as if his pain were a game. He had lured the final successor of One For All into a shadowy, abandoned warehouse where the atmosphere was thick with dread. All For One wore a sinister grin as he taunted the young vigilante, declaring that this encounter was just the beginning of a much darker game, one that would force the young Inheritor of One For All to confront his deepest fears.
His fascination with All Might had faded; he was now a target, and he knew it. Izuku vividly recalled that dark moment in the warehouse when All For One's chilling words rang out, dripping with malice, as he sought to crush both his spirit and body, and the dangers surrounding him were real, and he was ready to face them head-on.
"You're next."
Lost in a whirlwind of thoughts, Izuku felt a surge of energy as the mighty gift bestowed upon him by the fourth inheritor suddenly ignited. Instinct kicked in, and with a fluid motion, he dodged the first attack—a swift, shadowy figure lunging at him with a dagger drawn. In the blink of an eye, he pivoted to avoid a second strike, narrowly escaping a deadly blow aimed at his torso.
The adrenaline coursed through him as he realized the gravity of the situation: assassins were relentlessly pursuing him, their intentions as dark as the night surrounding them.
"Well, here we go again," Izuku declared, activating Full Cowling to confront the two villains.
Meanwhile, in a concealed base.
All For One was quietly scheming, carefully crafting his strategies to lure in the current heir of One For All. With every thought, he plotted a path to manipulate this successor, setting the stage for a clash of legendary powers.
"Hmm, Kurogiri, your Quirk has always been instrumental in drawing the brat to me. I need only dispatch someone capable of his current whereabouts so that I may deploy my ace to entice him here," he mused.
With that thought in mind, All For One began meticulously plotting a strategy to lure Izuku Midoriya into his grasp. He recognized the immense potential locked within the young hero's Quirk and envisioned a plan that would not only manipulate Midoriya's vulnerabilities but also exploit his heroic ideals. All For One relished the challenge of outsmarting the determined boy, knowing that harnessing such power could turn the tide in his favor.
As he pondered the best way to ensnare Midoriya, a sinister smile crept across his face, signaling the beginning of a dark and intricate game.
Meanwhile, with Izuku.
The young vigilante persisted in his search, gathering more clues for his next lead.
'Man, All For One's trying to find desperate ways to bring me down,' Izuku reflected on his recent victory, having just subdued the two assassins with his Blackwhip ability.
"Ninth, take it easy on yourself. You must treat yourself first before you can continue to save others further." The Vestiges of One For All expressed their concerns.
Izuku shook his head, knowing he could not stop right here. "I can't do that, not when evil is still around. Everyone is counting on me," Izuku said as he started hopping from building to building, hoping to get more info from the villains.
No, particularly after the incident with Lady Nagant, he couldn't afford to lose more individuals who were merely pawns for All For One's schemes. This villain needed to be stopped before it was too late.
"I know you're worried about your friends, little dude, but you seriously need to take it easy on yourself," Banjo warned with a severe tone.
"I can't, if I won't, who will?" Izuku paused to answer his ringing cell phone.
"Yeah?"
"Deku, change of plans. If you continue this way, your body will inevitably fail," Endeavor softly cautioned Deku over the phone. "We're now prepared for the international heroes. With sufficient manpower, our options will expand. You are crucial to our success. We cannot afford to lose you," Endeavor expressed with deep concern and caution, aware that Deku was essential in overcoming All For One.
Izuku began to assure the current number-one hero, "Don't worry; I'm still able to move. We can't afford to give the villains time to prepare," Izuku stated with increased confidence and determination as he concluded the call with Endeavor.
Izuku was aware that he couldn't halt his progress. With the league potentially causing harm and All For One still at large, the young successor to One For All understood the necessity of pressing on.
"Number Nine, your wounds have not yet fully healed. It is not the time to exert yourself," the Seven Vestiges of One For All cautioned Izuku, signaling that his body could endure no further strain.
A sudden sense of danger tingled sharply at the back of his head, an instinctual warning that set his heart racing. Izuku took a deep breath, focusing his energy as he activated Full Cowling, feeling the familiar surge of power coursing through his veins. With his senses heightened and his muscles primed for action, he moved cautiously, each step deliberate and measured.
The air felt thick with tension as he cautiously approached the source of his unease. The ominous signal of his Quirk echoed in his mind, urging him to prepare for whatever threat lay ahead.
After all, he was used to the danger.
It was nothing that he couldn't handle any day.
"He's not listening. If he continues this way, the little brat is going to end up getting himself killed!" Banjo declared, his voice tense with concern.
"My feelings are affecting him too heavily," Nana Shimura reacts with concern, as this is not the first instance where she feels she has disappointed a former successor.
"No, not for that brat! It's all the same," Banjo responded.
"For better or for worse, awakening our quirks is just a means to an end to him. Superheroes help those who are in need." Yoichi, the initial Quirk user of One For All, responded.
"Hmph, the path he's taking is the correct one," stated the previously unidentified second quirk user who caught everyone's attention in the mindscape.
"Leader." Said the 3rd Quirk user.
"He shouldn't be allowed to stop, especially in a situation like this. That's what it means to wield One For All and carry on the rest of our wills." Everyone stayed silent.
"But perhaps… There is something we can do to protect Izuku Midoriya." In the mindscape, each face was etched with silence and a hint of curiosity.
Back with Izuku
Damn it.
He hoped he wasn't too late.
With his heart racing and adrenaline surging, Izuku sprinted toward the chaotic scene, the urgency of the Quirk driving him forward, highlighting the frightened faces of innocent bystanders, their fear unmistakable. Through the dark lenses of his mask, Izuku surveyed the turmoil—shouts filled the air, some clung to each other, while others desperately searched for their loved ones.
He knew that amid the chaos, he focused on one goal: protecting the innocent civilians in front of him. As he scanned the surroundings, his instincts took over, urging him to identify any dangers hiding in the shadows. Steeling himself, he prepared to face whatever threat awaited, determined to shield those unable to defend themselves. "Are you hurt?" asked the hero, a figure resembling a demon rabbit.
"M…Multiple quirks…?! Are you All For Ones... subordinate?!" asked a random citizen in the area.
"No, of course not," Izuku responded casually.
"AHH, Thank God! I'm okay, and we're all okay, so…" The random citizen spoke awkwardly, they narrated.
Right, that went well. No one was injured. However, Izuku still couldn't afford to lower his guard.
'All For One, what exactly are you planning? Where are you?' Izuku pondered internally while he scoured the vicinity for clues.
As the citizens began to evacuate the area, Izuku continued his search for more leads in his pursuit of All For One and the league.
No more would they hurt people.
Izuku was determined to wipe out the fear that All For One and Shigaraki spread. He had vow to become a symbol of hope, promising to protect his loved ones and everyone counting on him. With steadfast resolve, he gave his all in every fight, knowing real strength wasn't just about power, but about facing darkness with courage and lifting others with compassion.
Each challenge he faced only ignited his determination to create a future free from fear and full of peace.
'I need to stop Shigaraki; I need to stop the League of Villains. I won't let them lay a finger on anyone; I need to master One For All so that people won't have to live in fear anymore,' Izuku thought with so much hope in his mind.
Just as he was about to finish his train of thought, a tingling sensation shot through him—a warning from his Danger Sense. Someone was approaching fast. He moved just in time to see a ferocious, deadly Nomu charging straight at him, poised to attack from its stance.
'Reckless born, I'm out of impatience,' Izuku thought irritably to himself.
"Wishing for solitude when on the brink of exhaustion is precisely what he predicted! Numbers are justice! If I deliver you to him, I will be safe!" exclaimed the hunchbacked villain, emerging onto the scene, controlling the lethal Nomu.
'Dictator, another assassin who escaped from Tartarus,' Izuku thought grimly.
"I hope this time you can tell me the whereabouts of All For One!" Izuku spoke with intense anger and malice in his tone.
"Well, well, well! Are you willing to fight for that, then? Go on then, fight!" The vicious, psychotic criminal screamed.
Before Izuku could process what was happening, the same hulking Nomu that had previously attacked him charged again, its grotesque figure towering as its clawed hands stretched out, ready to grab him. Fueled by adrenaline, Izuku activated his Quirk and dodged to the left just in time to avoid its grasp. As he moved, he caught sight of the strange wings on the Nomu's back, pulsating with an eerie energy as it closed in, its predatory intent unmistakable.
During the chaos of the battle, the green-haired vigilante's heart dropped as he spotted a group of civilians who hadn't managed to evacuate in time, fear written all over their faces as the danger closed in around them. Determined to protect them, Izuku braced himself, knowing he needed to think fast and act decisively. The weight of responsibility pressed on him as he worked to come up with a plan, ready to confront the dangerous Nomu while safeguarding the innocent lives still at risk.
"Ah, this one is under my control! The boss sent him here so he could do my dirty work for me!" Cackled the crazy maniac.
'Damn it, at this stage, I can't do much against these guys,' Izuku's mind raced as he continued to evade the incoming attacks from the controlled Nomu, all while desperately trying to rescue the innocent civilians caught in their clutches.
Abruptly, Izuku sensed a sharp cut on the side of his left arm.
"Argh!" Izuku screamed in pain.
Izuku collapsed, noticing a painful cut on his left arm. The Nomu had gained the upper hand, striking him as he tried to evade its attacks. Though not fatal, the wound hurt tremendously.
Izuku launched himself into the air as he channeled 15% of One For All into his legs. The battlefield below turned into a chaotic blur as he narrowly evaded another ferocious strike from the relentless Nomu. As he ascended, a chilling, mocking laughter echoed around him, sending a cold shiver down his spine. Instinctively, he twisted mid-air to locate the source, and there he saw the Dictator. The villain's sinister grin cut through the chaos of battle, a haunting reminder of the darkness he's facing.
"Dictator" was initially apprehended by Crust; it's been five years, I reckon, since the bloodless surrender incident. Naturally, this monster was also exploiting innocent people as human shields. A full-power attack is futile against the Nomu due to its rapid healing ability, and without my air gloves, using Blackwhip is not an option," Izuku mused, surveying the surroundings while evading the lethal Nomu's assaults.
Just as Izuku finished his thoughts, a sudden, powerful kick from behind sent him flying forward. Spinning around quickly, he found the deadly Nomu closing in, relentless and ready to strike. Adrenaline pumped through him as he landed firmly on the ground, a cloud of dust rising around him. Realizing the danger, he took a deep breath and frantically tried to devise a plan before the creature could strike again, knowing he couldn't afford to waste a single moment.
"Please help us! Please, we beg you!" Cried the screaming civilians.
'I know, it's okay. I'm here to save you. I will free you,' Izuku thought tiredly.
Izuku felt the weight of exhaustion pressing down on him, a heavy burden that almost dragged him under. Doubts churned in his mind like a relentless storm, making him wonder how much longer he could endure. Just as he was about to give in, a rush of memories surged through him, reigniting a flame deep inside him.
The first memory that came to mind was of his mother, Inko Midoriya, her face glowing with joy and pride as she watched him grow, a source of love and inspiration that drove his ambitions.
His eyes fell on the bright yellow scarf draped around his neck, a symbol of strength and progress. It was a gift from Gran Torino, his wise mentor, who had driven him to hone his given quirk. The scarf wasn't just an accessory; it embodied the bond they had built through intense training and the priceless lessons they had shared.
He recalled the intense battle with Shigaraki and the Liberation Army, a time that pushed him to his limits and left him both physically and emotionally scarred. Holding onto the memories of these vital relationships, he felt a surge of strength, a reminder that he wasn't facing this fight alone. To keep moving forward, no matter what obstacles lie ahead.
Memories of his other teachers and mentors that Izuku fondly remembers: his homeroom teacher, Eraserhead, who stood out for the immense support he provided to his classmates. He guided them in their journey to becoming pro-heroes, especially during pivotal moments like the USJ incident and the battle against Overhaul. Present Mic also holds a special place in those times, remembered for his energetic commentary on his radio show and his playful banter with Eraserhead.
Midnight, despite her questionable actions and somewhat... perverted tendencies, demonstrated remarkable dedication to Izuku and his classmates at UA Academy. Her courage shone during the Liberation Army's attack, where she made the ultimate sacrifice to protect her students. Her death was something the young vigilante would never forget.
Of course, others were among the main reasons he left the Academy in the first place. To protect them at the cost of his own life, no matter what it took.
Izuku's classmates, the friends he grew close to over the years, are still attending the Academy. Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Tsuyu, Mineta, Yaoyorozu, Jirou, Kaminari, Kirishima, Ashido, Aoyama, Sero, Sato, Ojiro, Koda, Tokoyami, Hagakure, and Kacchan stand ready to defend each other, embodying the courage and resilience that define true heroes in the face of adversity.
'Heh, Kacchan will be furious with me if he finds out that even on the brink of death, I still call him by his childhood nickname.' Izuku remembers with fond nostalgia.
Even though he and Kacchan didn't have the best start to their friendship, not since their childhood, a deep respect had undeniably developed between them. This became evident during a crucial battle when Kacchan selflessly pushed Izuku out of the path of Shigaraki's lethal attack, risking his own life without a second thought. Kacchan's brave act highlighted the true meaning of selflessness. Moved by this, Izuku strongly vowed to honor his former rival's courage and celebrate their shared hardships in a way that truly symbolized their new bond.
He wanted to see Eri one last time, hoping to bring a smile to her face just as he had done at the school festival. The joy they shared when he first saw her take a bite of a candy apple was unforgettable. Similarly, he changed Kota's perception of heroes and quirks, becoming his hero by demonstrating how to use his water quirk for greatness.
He provided similar guidance to Shinso, a UA student he met at the Sports Festival. He encouraged the General student that his brainwashing quirk was well-suited for heroism and guided him toward the path of becoming a hero. Additionally, consider his encounter with the Big Three students of UA Academy: Togata, Amajiki, and Hado, who all served as excellent role models for Izuku and his peers.
As Izuku began to close his eyes, allowing the weariness of the day to wash over him, one final figure emerged in the tapestry of his thoughts. This man, a beacon of inspiration since his earliest memories, had ignited his longing for heroism with every captivating video he had devoured. He could still vividly recall the thrill of watching those heroic feats unfold on screen, each frame sparking a fire within him.
This was the person who had first uttered the words that struck a deep chord in Izuku's heart:
"You can become a hero."
Those simple yet powerful words lingered in his thoughts, filling him with hope and determination, inspiring his dreams, and pushing him to pursue a legacy of courage and selflessness. In that reflective moment, he realized just how crucial this person had been in shaping not only his goals but the very core of who he was meant to be.
All Might is the primary reason he's out here, battling for everyone on the front lines. Izuku's eyes blazed with intensity; even as he lost blood from his arm and teetered on the brink of unconsciousness, he began to recall the very reason he was here in the first place.
'I am here to fight for all my friends and family who mean so much to me, for everyone who has offered tremendous support over time. I am fighting for them so that no one has to live in fear any longer.' With determination, Izuku began to rise, now fueled by an adrenaline surge.
'So I can smile with them again!' Izuku exclaimed, charging up his quirk.
"One For All, Full Cowling 30%!" Izuku screamed, his power elevated to an unprecedented level.
He charged at the Nomu, surprising the dictator with an unexpected burst of power. Using his Smokescreen quirk, he disoriented the creature, leaving it blinded and confused. As the Nomu flailed in search of him, Izuku appeared with decisiveness, unleashing his signature Shoot Style and landing a powerful kick squarely on its face.
The Nomu was hurled across the battlefield, landing far from the civilians.
Izuku tapped into 50% of One For All's power and rushed at the nomu with unwavering resolve. He unleashed a flurry of powerful punches, enduring the searing pain in his arm. There was no hesitation; his only goal was to stop the nomu's destruction once and for all. No matter how much pain pounded in his bleeding arm and aching muscles, he had to keep fighting. He couldn't let the nomu slip away; it needed to be stopped no matter what!
After weakening the Nomu, Izuku slams it into the ground, unleashing punches that nearly take its life. He uses Blackwhip at full strength, ripping off its wings and hammering the creature with a relentless flurry of blows until it's completely subdued. The force of his attacks turns the green-haired teen's white glove a deep crimson due to the intensity of the punches, leaving bystanders unsure if the blood is from the Nomu or Izuku himself.
After his moment of fury, the masked vigilante released the Nomu, who was on the verge of losing consciousness from the severe beating. Regaining his composure, he understood the task ahead: evacuate the civilians immediately and extract crucial information from the deranged villain.
"NO! HOW DID YOU DEFEAT MY PRECIOUS WEAPON?!" The incredulous dictator asked in disbelief.
"Simple. It just wasn't enough to keep up with me," Izuku declared, advancing menacingly toward the villain, who was starting to falter, his stamina waning from the recent skirmish with the assassins.
"It's over… Reveal All For One's location!" Izuku commanded, his voice weary yet threatening.
"Ha, the answer to your question is simple—it's exactly where you're headed now!" declared the mad villain, using a sign to summon chivalry.
Izuku's Danger Sense activated, alerting him to the presence of an approaching danger. The creature, mist-like in form, stirred a sense of familiarity within him, inexplicably evoking memories of the villain known for his teleportation quirk.
The dictator began to chuckle with delight. "Behold my latest backup. It has the power to transport anyone to any place at will. The boss endowed it with a warp ability, ensuring you can be delivered directly to him," declared the Mad Dictator, his voice tinged with a chilling madness as Izuku's eyes widened in alarm.
"No..." Izuku murmured, realizing he needed to escape as swiftly as possible.
Before Izuku could react, a wave of exhaustion overcame him, and he collapsed to the ground, nearly succumbing to the fatigue.
"No, no, no, I need to escape this place. Crap, I really did push myself too hard today. I should have listened to Endeavor's or the Previous Users' advice," Izuku muttered, feeling increasingly weaker and more tired than before.
'No, it can't end like this. I can't face All For One in this state,' Izuku pondered morbidly as he stayed immobile.
"My, my, it seems you've expended your energy in the earlier skirmishes today. Fear not; the sight of the boss will surely reignite your adrenaline," declared the Dictator as he ordered the creature to alter the space surrounding Izuku.
"Farewell, Mister Hero. While the big boss deals with you, I shall escape his grasp," the Dictator exclaimed with an evil cackle.
'I guess this is the end. I'm sorry, All Might. I'm sorry, Mom, I'll never have the chance to savor your katsudon again. I regret that I won't see my classmates at school anymore,' Izuku reflects grimly, feeling as though he's let them down.
"I'm sorry, everyone," Izuku murmured as he began to drift into sleep.
'If there is something we could do to protect Izuku Midoriya,' Izuku heard a gentle voice inside his mind.
'What?'
Right as Izuku gets sucked into the portal, a colorful glow envelops his body, merging with the portal as the effect of One For All seems to be fighting back against it.
The Dictator screamed, "What, what's happening?! This can't be happening!"
Within moments, a brilliant light enveloped the area as Izuku began to disappear. At the same time, the portal closed, and the force from the warp portal's convergence knocked the dictator unconscious.
All the civilians managed to evacuate in time before the situation escalated further, reaching safety away from the location.
But what became of our main hero? He was absent, vanished without a trace. Signs of the warp and debris lay strewn across the atmosphere, yet there was no sign of anyone else. No one was there.
Izuku Midoriya, the renowned student and hero-in-training at UA Academy, the successor to All Might's legacy, and the ninth holder of One For All, has disappeared from the world of Quirks.
Abruptly, a light pierced the darkness of an alleyway in an unnamed city. A figure crashed into a pile of trash bags, startling the stray cats and rodents that lurked there.
In that same alleyway, a person resembling a green bunny was sprawled on top of the trash bags. As the hours ticked by, this bunny-like individual began to wake up from their slumber.
Beneath the mask, Izuku's eyes fluttered open as he awoke from the rough impact of the ground.
"Uhh, what happened?" Izuku inquired, his voice laden with fatigue, reminiscent of the exhaustion one feels after being tossed about on a rollercoaster.
Shaking his head, Izuku narrowed his eyes at his surroundings. Darkness enveloped the area, littered with trash, and small rodents scurried away from the crushed bags upon which Izuku had inadvertently landed.
Izuku questioned, "Ugh, where am I? Am I back in Musutafa?" The young vigilante mused, rising to his feet and stepping away from the scattered trash bags and cans.
Izuku furrowed his brows beneath his mask as memories began to flood his mind involuntarily. He disregarded the intense headache, focusing on the forced recollections of recent events that played in his head.
"What happened to the Dictator or the portal he used against me and the civilians? Were they able to escape before the situation got worse?" Izuku inquired anxiously as he began to survey his surroundings for any signs of others.
The abrupt pain began to ring on Izuku's arm as the young vigilante couldn't help but comment on it. "Ugh, my arm," He muttered, noticing the blood oozing from his left arm.
Izuku realized he still carried his yellow bag and decided to check it for bandages. Luckily, he had remembered to pack some, along with extra clothes, notes, and school supplies, before departing from the academy.
This proves that he was more prepared than initially thought. Aizawa-sensei would undoubtedly be proud of him at this moment.
Biting back a mix of pain and frustration, Izuku focused intently as he began to wrap his left arm, meticulously masking the fresh, bloody gash that marred his skin. The crimson seeped through the makeshift bandage, but he reminded himself that this injury was minor in the grand scheme of the casualties he'd faced before. Memories of more severe wounds flashed through his mind, each one a testament to his relentless determination.
At least at this moment, he found a small comfort in the absence of Recovery Girl. He could almost hear her voice scolding him for his reckless behavior, reminding him that heroics should not come at the cost of his well-being. For now, he would take care of himself in his own way.
Izuku remembered the old heroine fondly, thinking, 'If only Recovery Girl could see me now.'
Honestly, it was probably best she wasn't here since Recovery Girl would kill him again for getting injured. On the bright side, he can safely say that the injury didn't come from him this time.
Izuku carefully gathered the last few bandages he had and tucked them away in his worn backpack, ensuring not a single piece was left behind. The yellow backpack, faded from countless adventures, felt reassuring against his back as he hoisted it onto his shoulders, the weight of his other supplies pressing down. He took a moment to steady himself, the dim alleyway closing in around him as the final traces of daylight faded.
The air was thick with the scent of damp pavement and distant city life, but a chill crept in as night began to envelop the world outside. He knew this was not the time for hesitance; he needed to find shelter quickly. Each step echoed softly on the cobblestones as he navigated toward the bustling street beyond, determination stirring within him.
Darkness falling like a heavy blanket sharpened Izuku's mind, fueling his resolve to persist in his quest to locate All For One.
Izuku took out his phone, trying to call for help with his situation. Sadly, the signal was weak, and the Wi-Fi didn't provide any alternative emergency contacts. This frustrated Izuku, as he urgently needed to reach out to someone.
"Damn it, there's no service on my phone right now. How can I call for backup?!" Izuku cursed out loud, struggling to find a solution to the problem.
Alright, Midoriya, take a deep breath. This wasn't the time to be angry over something beyond his control; instead, he took a deep breath to soothe his nerves.
Izuku knew he had to stay calm; yelling or swearing would not help the situation. As a hero, it was his responsibility to address the challenge before him—he couldn't afford to let down those who depended on him. Thinking quickly, Izuku tucked his phone into his pocket and stepped out of the shadowy alley.
As he exited the alleyway, he felt a shift in his familiar surroundings.
'What the hell?' Izuku wondered as he began to notice the colorful signs scattered throughout the luminous city.
He noticed the unfamiliar letters on the billboards. He observed the crowds of people bustling about, each engrossed in their own business. Yellow cabs drove in the streets, and vibrant advertisements adorned the skyscrapers.
Izuku finally understood that the words before him were in English, and the city seemed more bustling than Musutafu. The people were clad in casual attire, and from his observations, many of them appeared more ordinary compared to those in his former hometown.
As his vision sharpened, he became acutely aware of the curious gazes from the crowd around him. Whispers rippled through the passersby, all fixated on his strikingly unconventional outfit.
"Woah, what is that costume?"
"Does it look like some kind of rabbit?"
"Is he cosplaying for a convention?"
"Mommy, he looks scary! Make him go away!"
"What the hell is he wearing?!"
"Why does he look like a Sonic knock-off?" Many curious onlookers began to pose questions in English.
Acting on instinct, Izuku dashed back to the dark alley where he had started, knowing he couldn't afford to be seen. Once again, shrouded in the alley's darkness, he paused to think.
"What's happening here? Have I returned to Japan?" Izuku began to wonder as he struggled to make sense of his surroundings.
No, this couldn't be. He had to have been in Japan, but after what Izuku had just seen, he knew that was too good to be true.
So, if this wasn't Japan, then where the hell was he?
All Izuku could do was curse silently and ponder his whereabouts. Could it be that he was in a different city? A different country. That might explain it. If that were the case, it would make sense why the people he had recently observed were speaking a language different from his.
Thank Kami. He did remember that it was English because he had taken classes at UA Academy, which was a plus. Could it be that Izuku was in America, of all places? It was the only logical conclusion.
If that were the case…
'No, no, no, this can't be happening. This just can't be!' Izuku's realization hit him hard; he shouldn't be in the United States. Panic flooded his thoughts, knowing that his presence was urgently needed back home to battle the villains. With time slipping away, he had to get back to Japan quickly, or All For One would endanger all those he held dear.
"Yoichi-san? Nana-san?" Izuku attempted to call out the two Vestiges.
Nothing.
All words and visual representations have not been spoken by the previous users of One For All.
"Banjo-san? Anyone? Is there anyone I can talk to?" The young vigilante began to worry due to the lack of responses, knowing they usually arrived promptly to inform the aspiring hero of any recent threats.
Shit! Why did Izuku have to shut them out? Why did he choose to ignore their concern? Now, see the result: he stands alone at this moment. He sighed, knowing he shouldn't have taken them for granted. He should have listened to them back on his vigilante hunt.
He does wonder one thing: does he still have access to One For All?
Before Izuku could reflect on his situation, a sudden tingling at the back of his head activated his Danger Sense, assuring him that his Quirk remained intact. Thank Kami for that, as the young vigilante exhaled in relief and instantly shifted to a state of alertness and caution. Aware of the looming danger, he recognized that someone needed his help.
Shit, was there a villain nearby? Here in America?
Izuku knew he should leave the matter to the American pro heroes, but he contemplated what kind of hero he would be if he avoided challenging situations. He understood the difficulty of the task, yet he couldn't just stand by and do nothing.
Izuku exhaled deeply, accepting that this was his true self.
Even when in a different city or country, Izuku understood that his duty to be a hero was universal, regardless of the cost.
This was his calling.
It was to choose to make significant sacrifices and take the high road to assist others.
Izuku activated Full Cowl at 5% and started hopping across small buildings, searching for the origin of the distress signal.
Even in a world where he is seen as an outsider, Izuku Midoriya understands that he cannot abandon those who need his help.
Looks like things haven't changed a bit.
For better or for worse.
No, this wasn't supposed to be happening.
She wanted to return home safely and soundly.
"AHH! HELP ME!" a woman screamed from another back alleyway.
"Shut up; hand over what's in your bag, or my friends and I will teach you a lesson you won't forget!" the random thug shouted, flanked by two of his associates.
"No, please let me go," the woman whimpered, simply wishing to return home in peace. Her family was waiting for her.
"Hand over your belongings now! Or, as I said, the boys and I will do more than just hurt you," the thug continued in a menacing tone, with his two lackeys laughing in the background.
As the situation teetered on the edge of escalation, a mysterious fifth individual stepped out from the shadows, arriving in the nick of time. The woman, who was close to being assaulted, caught the attention of the three thugs, who stared in bewilderment and astonishment.
"Don't worry, miss. It's going to be okay. Because I am here now!" announced the unnamed figure, shrouded in darkness.
The three thugs looked in stupefaction, wondering who the hell this joker was.
"Huh, who the hell are you? Some wannabe superhero..." The thug's taunt was cut short as a black tentacle sprang from the shadowed figure's hand. A swift blow to the stomach sent the thug crashing to the ground, unconscious from the impact.
"Hey, what the hell?! Did you see that shit?!" yelled the second thug, still standing with his accomplice.
Before the other thug could react, the shadowy figure who had just cracked the whip lunged forward, delivering a kick to his companion's chest and a direct punch to his nose. The sound of a crack, followed by a scream, filled the air at the same time.
Just as the lady stood up, she began to witness the event unfolding before her very eyes.
The two thugs who had been mugging her were suddenly rendered unconscious in mere seconds by a mysterious figure. She couldn't be sure that the being before her was human. Upon closer inspection, she noticed two tattered ears protruding from the top of its head and a grimy green garment beneath a yellow bag it donned.
What captured her attention the most was the odd and menacing mask he wore, hiding his identity. It resembled a green rabbit, yet it bore a nearly demonic aspect, and its overall appearance seemed more beastly and less human than it initially appeared.
Honestly, she couldn't decide which was more terrifying: the three assholes nearly assaulting her for her money or her body or the enigmatic figure with a demonic visage who appeared out of nowhere and quickly defeated them all within seconds.
As she pondered in silence, she noticed the enigmatic figure drawing nearer.
Oh God, was this the end for her?
'Is he going to kill me today?' she thought in despair, tears welling up in her eyes. She wasn't ready to leave this world, not without bidding farewell to her loved ones first.
What words could she offer to her husband and nephew? She yearned to behold them just one more time. She didn't wish to die, not without gazing upon them once again with her very own eyes.
However, those theories were just debunked when the unknown individual in the peculiar green attire asked her a question.
"Are you alright?" asked the mysterious vigilante clad in green.
"Huh?" the frightened woman asked, bewildered.
"I asked if you were all right, Miss. They didn't hurt you, did they?" the green-clad vigilante inquired in fluent English.
"Ye-yes, I am," the woman replied, her confusion mingling with a hint of relief.
"Oh, that's a relief. I'm pleased to hear you're fine, Miss. My apologies if my appearance startled you. It's just a necessary precaution to hide my identity from terrible villains," the bunny-themed hero explains in his tone, a mix of confidence and concern.
The woman appeared perplexed. Could it be that this stranger was worried about her?
"Be cautious at night, Miss, as that's often when danger befalls innocent civilians such as yourself. Please, when possible, alert the authorities or any heroes about the crime scene to ensure your safe return home," the masked vigilante advised before he began to walk away from the scene.
'Other heroes? Could this man be an Avenger?' the lady pondered silently to herself.
"Wait!" the lady exclaimed. The masked vigilante halted and turned to listen to her words.
"Who are you? Are you one of the Avengers?" the woman inquired, her voice tinged with immense curiosity.
Huh?
The words sounded unfamiliar to Izuku.
'Avengers?' Izuku pondered, unfamiliar with the term.
What could this woman mean by "Avengers"? Could they be heroes? And if so, why hadn't Izuku heard of them before?
Throughout his years of diligent note-taking and in-depth study of various heroes and their distinct quirks, Izuku had never heard of the name 'Avengers.' This absence struck him as peculiar. It was conceivable that they were a group of foreign heroes, which might explain his unfamiliarity with the name. However, despite Izuku's extensive knowledge of renowned international heroes—figures celebrated for their remarkable achievements and quirks rivaling Japan's most distinguished individuals—he found it puzzling that such a term would escape him.
The mystery deepened as he considered the significance of a title like 'Avengers'. Were they as renowned as figures such as All Might and other professional heroes from Japan? His curiosity was piqued, and he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this story than he had initially realized.
Nevertheless, Izuku understood that he couldn't allow the woman to stay fixated on her question.
The young vigilante shook his head before answering the inquisitive woman's question. "No, miss. I'm my hero—a hero who desires to aid those in need and demonstrate that it's all right to smile, even in desperate times. I am the Deku who can do it," the masked vigilante responded humbly.
The woman appeared confused by his name. "Deku? That name doesn't sound English. You're not from around here, are you?" she inquired, her curiosity evident.
"Around here?" Izuku mused, receiving a nod of agreement from the kind woman he had just rescued.
That was an interesting question. Where could Izuku possibly be? The young successor to One For All was sure he was no longer in Japan, as the unfamiliar language and script on the city's billboards indicated. He understood he must be somewhere in America, but the question remained: where exactly? With fifty states to consider, it seemed like the perfect time to seek answers.
Mulling over it intensely, Izuku realized he couldn't let this moment slip by; the question had to be asked right then and there.
"Excuse me, Miss. This may seem quite odd, but could you tell me where I am?" Izuku inquired, his confusion evident. The woman facing him appeared foreign and spoke with an unfamiliar accent, even though she and the other thugs he had effortlessly subdued earlier communicated in English.
Additionally, earlier in the city, people had also commented on his costume in English. Fortunately, as he stated to himself not too long ago, the English lessons from Present Mic and the online tutorial videos by All Might proved beneficial, particularly given that the former Number One in Japan often visited the States during his heyday.
"Around here? You don't know where you are? This is New York City, the Big Apple of the United States," the American woman said in an honest response.
New York City?! So that confirms it. He wasn't in Japan anymore.
He was a long way from Musutafu, a long way from home, which meant all of his friends and family were far from home.
No, no, no, no…
NO, NO, NO! He needed to get back!
'I can't be here! I need to stop All For One so I can save Shigaraki from becoming his tool even further. I can't not let everyone down!' Izuku's internal panic began to rise, unaware that his thoughts were growing louder to the point where the person next to him could hear his self-directed mutterings.
"Hey, Mister, are you alright? I can hear you muttering to yourself," spoke the foreign lady, deeply concerned for the vigilante who had just saved her from an assault.
Izuku paused, realizing his old habits were frightening the woman. It had been a long time since he last did that.
Even as we change ourselves, our old habits have a way of resurfacing in unexpected, new forms, as the young vigilante reflected on those thoughts, filled with sheer nostalgia.
Izuku knew he needed to be calm. Damn it, he was disappointed in himself! He knew he needed to act more professionally in this situation and regain his composure.
"I apologize, miss. I didn't intend to alarm you with my thoughts. The news of my whereabouts merely takes me aback," Izuku expressed, regretting his old habits. The last thing he desired was to cause someone concern.
"Miss, may I ask you a few questions before I leave? I need to confirm a few details," Izuku said with concern.
"Uh, yeah, sure. What would you like to know now?" replied the curious woman in a friendly manner.
Now was the opportunity for Izuku to obtain the crucial information he desperately sought.
"Do you know what a quirk is?" Izuku inquired, his curiosity evident as he addressed the woman.
The foreign woman seemed puzzled by Izuku's terminology. "Quirk? What is that term supposed to mean? Are you referring to a strange habit I have or something similar?" she asked, her tone reflecting her bewilderment.
Izuku raised an eyebrow, noticing that the woman in front of him seemed perplexed by his words. 'She doesn't know what a quirk is?! How is it possible that she's unaware of the meaning of that term?! Quirks are almost a universal trait!' he questioned in his thoughts.
Realizing the growing suspicion in the woman's gaze, Izuku knew he had to change the topic of conversation swiftly.
Izuku shook his head from side to side. "Never mind. May I ask you another question, actually? Are you familiar with a hero known as Stars and Stripes?" he inquired politely, aware that it was the alias of America's top hero.
The woman's confusion cleared as she grasped his meaning. "Stars and Stripes? Ah, you must mean one of the Avengers, Captain America! He's a war veteran and was part of the team that defended our city from an alien invasion a few years back. He rescued many lives that day, and I was among the witnesses," she replied with sincerity.
Captain America? Who was that? That name was unfamiliar to Izuku once again.
Was Stars and Stripes not considered a hero at that time? And what did this woman imply by… 'Aliens'?
This was getting weirder and weirder the more Izuku thought about it, and he should be used to it since he did come from a city filled with bizarre stuff all the time.
Do aliens exist in real life? Here in the United States? And then there's that name again, Avengers. Izuku began to wonder what was truly happening. First, it was the entire situation with All For One and One For All, and now, aliens!
The young vigilante realized that he needed to make progress. Although he was uncertain if it was the right place at the wrong time, he pondered: Could this be the right moment? It seemed unlikely, yet the possibility lingered. Driven by a sense of urgency, he decided to take the risk; he needed answers immediately.
"May I ask you one more question, Miss?" the green-clad vigilante asked, to which the foreign woman before him nodded in assent.
"Could you please tell me what year it is?" the hero with rabbit ears inquired.
Once again, he needed confirmation. It seemed impossible, yet he had to determine if his grim predictions were indeed accurate.
"The year? Are you unaware of what year it is?" the American woman inquired, her tone laced with skepticism.
"If I knew, I wouldn't be asking," Izuku said in a mild, aggressive tone, surprising the woman he had just rescued with his sudden shift in demeanor.
Izuku inhaled deeply, already lamenting his recent actions. "I apologize for my behavior, miss," he said earnestly, "but I must know what year it is. Please... I need answers."
"Alright, if you wish to know, the year is 2015," the kind woman replied, her voice carrying a tone of understanding and sincerity.
…
The area was enveloped in complete silence, which shocked Izuku as he struggled to process the words.
2015…
In 2015, he discovered that he was not only in a different city but also in an entirely different era. It was an era devoid of quirks, indicating that Izuku was indeed a long way from home; he knew he couldn't stay there for too long.
No.
No…
NO!
How did this happen?! Why did this happen?! This was making no sense at all!
'No, no, no, no! I can't be here; I need to find a way to get back home! All For One, where have you sent me now?!' Izuku demanded morosely, clenching his fists in anger.
"Hey, are you okay?" the woman asked, her concern for her savior evident in her tone.
Izuku remained silent, primarily due to the shock of the information he had just received.
The masked vigilante stood in disbelief as he realized he was trapped in a completely unfamiliar universe, utterly bewildered by his surroundings. He found himself in New York City, right in the middle of chaos caused by aliens. In a world where quirks likely didn't exist, he was determined to discover who the heroes of this era indeed were.
All he understood was that a group called the Avengers had fought real aliens in this city. He wondered how these "heroes" managed to fend off the aliens without having any special abilities or "Quirks" as a more effortless preference.
Given the more significant issues at hand, Izuku was overthinking this situation. How could he possibly stop All For One if he wasn't present to confront him? Being here was not an option when his friends from the Quirk Era were out there, putting themselves on the line for him.
Izuku never asked this; he never sought to be left in a different era, nor did he desire to be in a place where he felt out of place. He needed to quickly calm down and seek shelter to maintain his composure for the rest of the day.
"Thank you, Miss, for answering my questions. I'd better get going now, but before I leave, can you please call the authorities first so I don't have to worry about you getting into trouble again?" Izuku asked kindly, concern in his voice.
"Sure, it's no trouble at all. I'm happy to have assisted you with your surroundings. I hope you find exactly what you're seeking. Meanwhile, take the time to enjoy New York. Although it may not be perfect compared to what you've experienced here, the food is excellent. The sandwiches, in particular, are outstanding," replied the woman with kindness and cheer.
"I'll take your word for it, Miss. Thank you," said Izuku, bowing before her.
The kind woman didn't expect formalities from the stranger who had just rescued her, but that didn't necessarily mean it was a bad thing.
"By the way, I never caught your name, Miss," He noted.
"You can call me May," she said, introducing herself kindly.
Izuku smiled underneath his mask. "Arigato, May-san. That's how you say 'Thank You' in my language. You take care and have a good night," The masked vigilante said sincerely as he activated his quirk and leaped up from the building. After he had departed, he noticed May pulling out her cell phone and dialing the police.
Minutes ticked by before the police arrived at the crime scene. The woman, now identified as May, began recounting to the officers everything that had transpired, explaining that she was simply en route to purchase groceries for her family's meals for the coming days.
Abruptly, a group of thugs appeared, trapping her in an alley and demanding her money. They threatened her with worse consequences if she refused. Just as she began to despair, a mysterious hero clad in green emerged from nowhere and effortlessly subdued the three assailants. He rescued her just in time from the ruffians who were poised to inflict harm.
The police took note and decided to compile a follow-up report on the recent crime involving an unusual vigilante who saved a woman from a potentially tragic fate, a fate that might have prevented her from ever seeing her family again had the masked stranger not intervened.
The police subsequently apprehended all three culprits and assigned an officer to escort May securely to one of the recently arrived patrol cars, ensuring her safe return home.
After the police had departed with everyone, Izuku left the vicinity and began leaping from one building to another in search of a shelter where he could rest and tend to his wounded arm, hoping to regain his full strength.
He was uncertain about what he was stepping into, yet this was his opportunity to demonstrate why he deserved his quirk. He needed to complete what All For One had begun.
Determined to demonstrate his abilities to the world, he promised to reunite with his friends and seek vengeance for the former bearers of One For All and the allies Izuku had battled alongside.
His resolve was firm: he would never fail again.
Izuku Midoriya would Avenge The Fallen.
AN: And that everyone was at the start of this story! I know that this was a long chapter, but I have to start somewhere. I have always wanted to write a crossover story featuring two of my favorite franchises, and what better way to start than with one of my favorite anime series and one of my favorite movie franchises?
Yes, for those wondering, I'm using the current manga version of Deku, as it's my favorite suit for the character. Deku, a.k.a. Izuku Midoriya, is one of my favorite protagonists in anime, as he is such a relatable character that you love!
I want to improve my writing, and fanfiction inspires me! I also want to read more general stories. I hope you can give me a lot of support and constructive, helpful criticism so that I can write the story better.
I have always wanted to write more original stories for this site because, when it comes to MHA/Avengers crossovers, it's either Deku gaining one of the Avengers' powers or abilities or Spider-Man being sent as a UA student. However, I have always wanted to read a story where, for one, Deku is the main protagonist and goes on an adventure to another world.
I know that some stories offer that experience, but it's rare to encounter it. This is true not just for Avengers crossovers, but for MHA crossovers in general; they often repeat the same thing.
I wanted to read more about the crossover section of MHA or other stories in general.
I'm sorry, but I just had to get that off my chest. In the meantime, I hope this story inspires more similar stories in the future.
Feel free to PM me if you'd like to discuss or share more ideas for stories. That's all I have to say, and I hope you guys have a great day! Stay safe, wear a mask, and have a great year! Stay Awesome, stay happy!
