Summary
Kiyoomi Sakusa isn’t afraid of anyone.
He’s twenty-two, last year’s collegiate MVP, a starting wing spiker for the Black Jackals. He’s still over six feet tall, but he’s a lot broader than he used to be. He’s grown into himself, who he is as a person, and other people find him intimidating, because he’s not scared of anyone.
At least that’s what he tells himself.
There’s really no other reason for it. He’s gotten a lot better about not being an asshole. He has friends outside of Motoya. He makes jokes.
People are still intimidated by him.
It’s because I’m not afraid of anyone, he tells himself, because no other explanation makes sense. Not that it makes sense that not being afraid of anyone makes other people afraid of him. He’s not in the business of psychology, even though his parents begged him to become Dr. Sakusa. Other people’s problems are other people’s problems. He only has the mental capacity to focus on his own.
His current problem? His perfect record of being unthreatened is being threatened.
By one Atsumu Miya.
