You nodded, looking back to your bag. You put your items away, and you began to ready yourself for the next orders to be barked at you from fellow Kakushi, when suddenly, that same deep voice rattled out to your soul once again.
“Thank you for your work. You have taken good care of me. Please be safe on your journey.”
His words were otherwise simple and short but held a lot of weight to them.
You lifted your head up and looked at him once again, nodding before speaking.
“Of course, sir. My pleasure.”
