Work Text:
This year is Taehyung and Jimin’s turn to go on a trip. The trip was supposed to be in the summer, but then there’s camping and so the school decided to pull it on the winter instead. And of course, the two of them are very excited.
“Don’t you forget your underwear again, hyung,” Jungkook said.
He remember Taehyung told him he didn’t even bring one pantie back in the summer camp, so he borrowed some from Jungkook (and Jimin who refused Taehyung because well, it’s Taehyung) and it was absolutely unpleasing.
“Of course I’m not.” Taehyung said sceptically. But then he furrows his eyebrows and his mouth is open a little. Then he unlock his suitcase and ejecting all of his stuff from there. Then finally murmuring oh right because he forgot his underwear again. Jungkook just sigh as Taehyung runs to his closet.
When Taehyung’s done with his packing, with Jungkook reminding him twice more about his forgotten stuff (Jungkook was already like his walking alarm), and a hyung don’t forget to send me your pictures there, they set out. In the sidewalk Jimin look very eager with his own luggage.
“You sure you want to go with that kind of attire?” Taehyung asked when he saw Jimin, only wearing a black tank top and a jeans. He sure even though the snow hasn’t fall yet, the weather is already cold.
“Hm? I think I’m okay,” Jimin replied, smiling.
“I won’t take care of you if you sick.”
Jimin shrugging. “It’s so hot!”
Jungkook scolds him, said I can’t believe you just said that and shivering. Taehyung heard his name being called and he turn around. He sees his mother standing from the door, embracing some sort of cloth.
“Taehyung, you left this out,” she said, giving him the cloth. For a moment he have no idea what was that, but then he saw a bear pattern hugging a heart in it and realize. It’s the blanket he always brought since the first grade of elementary school and he could never sleep without it. But he already let it go the moment he got into high school, he knows he’s grown up. “It will be cold.”
Taehyung pouting with embarassment (he could feel his cheek flushing), and almost can hear a giggling from Jungkook and Jimin behind him. “I don’t need it anymore, mom.”
“I know it’s too small for you now,” says his mother. “But its warm and I’ve washed it. I’m sure you’ll need it. Take it.”
And it was a mistake for him to look at the smile that his mother make. Bright and shooting. There is no way he could ever win over that beautiful smile. And it’s like there’s a words written on his mother’s face telling him that he really should bring the blanket. So he did take the pink bear pattern blanket with him half-heartedly, and he need to holding on it because his suitcase is full. His mother even kissed him on the forehead, that makes Jungkook and Jimin more satisfied. Then they walks to school.
Surely when the other hyungs spot him, they laughed. Hoseok was the loudest one. Cute little Tae Tae, Yoongi uttered. But Taehyung immediately brings up Seokjin’s pink tee collection and Yoongi’s dolls for blackmail that successfully make the noise down.
“Well then, so long kids,” Namjoon said when they stand in front of the row of buses. Taehyung and Jimin walks up to one and waving their hands to the rest.
“One good thing is there will be no pair of troublemaker for the next three days," Hoseok joking and Jimin pretend to kick him. “What? I’m just stating a fact.”
Seokjin and Yoongi agreely nodding. Taehyung pulls Jimin inside the bus. “Ignore those jealous hyungs.”
“Yeah right. You’re just gonna be studying in your boring class while we skiing and bathing in the hot spring,” Jimin shouting. “Haha!”
“Ski?” Yoongi raises an eyebrow.
“Yep.”
“You’re going to get cold, Jiminnie!” said Hoseok.
Jimin sticking out his tongue, mehrong. The troublemakers get in the jostled bus and then fighting to seat near the window. And then after a couple of minutes bickering, there’s a sound of horn and the door closed, they finally doing rock paper scissor to choose, and Taehyung won. Jimin frowning but he give in the seat anyway. Of course, Yoongi thought, they’re such a kids.
Yoongi approaching their window. “Be careful, Taehyung ah.”
“I’m not afraid of Jimin,” Taehyung grinning widely.
Yoongi rolls his eyes. That’s not what he actually means. But the bus starts moving. “Let’s go,” he said and the rest walks to the school building while the buses left.
--
It’s not so bad, Jimin thought. Taking the seat far from the window usually makes his stomach knotted and makes him wanted to throw up, but it seems like he’s already used to it this time. Or maybe because he’s trying to push that feeling far-far away to the corner of his mind by playing with his friends in the bus. At the same time Taehyung napping with earphones in his ear and wrapped by his pink blanket.
So Jimin, one of the troublemakers like what Hoseok has said, try to make something out of it. It’s a little bit because he’s upset he lose to the seat. But anyway, Hoseok really are stating a fact.
Taehyung has stirred because he felt something hit his shoulder. He open his eyes, music was long gone from his earphones because the auto-stop, and he take it off. He turn to his side and found a sleeping Jimin, sneaking himself into Taehyung’s blanket.
He look over to the window and there’s a small droplets of rain fall from the sky. Their bus is on the tail of the line to the lodge parking place. So when they finally stop, Taehyung wake Jimin up from the dreamland.
Then Jimin conscious, and he also conscious of his prank a while before: attaching stickers on Taehyung’s face (eye on the middle of his forehead like the third eye, pimple sticker on his cheek, and a double eyebrow sticker slightly above his eyes). It looks so funny. And Jimin almost burst out laughing when Taehyung goes on hurry Jiminnie we need to get the room with the most beautiful view, because they said there’s a beach behind the lodge. He smiles so wide with those double eyebrows that wrinkling and Jimin is trying so hard to be quiet.
“What’s wrong with you?” Taehyung asked when they got out of the bus. “You want to throw up?”
Jimin reminds all of his friends to shut up.
After a moment of a check-in race, they finally made it to the room in the corner. One room is able to accommodate up to ten people to sleep, although it would be crowded, still they didn’t think about it so much because it’s going to be warm and that’s what matter in the winter.
Taehyung was aware to the prank when he went into the toilet and saw himself in the mirror. Dammit, he cursed, finally knows why people around him look at him like he just got some of Jimin’s vomit. Especially the girls that secretly giggling. He took off all the stickers while trying to figure out a nice plan of revenge. Alright. This is definitely a war.
The students is allowed to spend the time in the beach behind the lodge (more like a mudflat full of reefstones, but the view is nice so it’s okay) and feeding the seagulls that perching there. Jimin was running around holding a handful of cornseed so enthusiastic, but then he feels the wind blowing hard piercing through his bone and he only wearing sweater above his tanktop, so he quickly stops and shuddering.
“I told you it’s cold,” Taehyung said, stares at Jimin who’s clicking his teeth. “You just never listen to what I’m saying.”
“Now, the weather is cold,” Jimin snarls and Taehyung snorts. He approach Taehyung and clutching his arms. “Please make me warm.”
“Yah, do you think I’m a hotpack?”
Jimin just grinning and keep clinging on his arms when they walking through the mud. The other was already spreading away the coast border, birds everywhere.
“Okay, you can wear my jacket,” Taehyung said.
“Huh?”
“But only this time. Because I’m a good friend and I don’t wanna let you freeze without me doing anything.”
“Ah no, I’m okay like this,” Jimin smiles. He detaching himself from Taehyung’s arms and tries to move his own like proving him it’s still useful and didn’t freeze at all. “You don’t need to do it. It’s bothersome.”
But Taehyung could see a slight color of red on the tip of Jimin’s nose and also his cheeks and his eyes that scrunching because of the wind. Taehyung still wearing two layers of long sleeve T-shirt and a jumper that enough to chase away the winter. And looking at Jimin like that, he just torturing his own body.
“Bothersome my ass,” he frowning. “I’m insisting. And you’re an idiot.”
“I’m older than you!”
“By a several months.”
Wind is blowing again and now Jimin is practically hugging himself, so Taehyung must put the jacket to Jimin, pull the zipper up until his chin, put the hood up, before Jimin could protests and leave him alone to join the others.
They hunting crabs that hiding under the muddy surface (after Jimin failed feeding the seagulls and got beaked instead).
“Look,” Taehyung lifting the crab that he found, about as big as his hand. “If I was to choose a was vehicle from a small creature, I would’ve choose a crab.”
Jimin stares blankly at him. “For what?”
“For a replacement to horse, of course.”
“But they’re not as big as horse.”
“I mean, if it could be as big as horse.”
“If there’s already a horse, why look for another else?”
Taehyung groaning. Sometimes Jimin is really stupid. Taehyung put the crab on the closest rock, watching it moving and snapping its tweezers. Jimin leave to find it too, murmuring I could get more amazing crab than you and Taehyung laugh, knowing that Jimin is actually interested on his crab.
The other kids make it good before Jimin do, but everyone have more smaller than the one Taehyung has, so when they got in battle they could got easily defeated (so then Taehyung named it namjoon2.0 because the crab is practically destroying everything around it). The spot suddenly becomes a battle ring. After twenty minutes fighting, somehow namjoon2.0 is still the only one that stand.
Taehyung bursting out laugh. “Namjoon is indeed couldn’t get beaten.”
And then five minutes later Jimin came, effortly caught a crab with his hand loaded with mud, and challenging Taehyung. But his crab was also a slightly more smaller than namjoon2.0 and in the end it was finally fall off the cliff, back to the mud like it was before. Jimin was shouting I just spent a half hour finding that what the fuck but the crab is already diving down far to the mud. So he was pissed off and try to push namjoon2.0 with his hand, when the destroyer clasped its claws.
--
So that’s why when they sit on the table for lunch, Jimin’s index finger covered with white bandage.
“You should’ve not playing around with a monster,” Taehyung tells him.
Jimin is pouting under the hood of Taehyung’s jacket. Their teacher was even hold back a laugh when he saw the crab hanging from Jimin’s finger, ignoring the fact that Jimin was almost crying (already crying) because of it.
“Why do you still bring that?” Jimin asks.
There’s a plastic bag located near Taehyung and it’s budging. Jimin saw a pair of a killer tweezers.
“I’m thinking to keep him,” Taehyung smiles, poking the plastic bag. “If you disturb me or if Hoseok hyung disturb me, I have this ultimate weapon that will destroy you.”
“I will come with the real Namjoon.”
“You’ll come with the real Namjoon but he will still gonna lose. You know how it’s going.”
“He will beat you too.” Jimin looks at the crab.
“He know who made him the champion.”
“Maybe it’s a female.”
“Maybe it doesn’t matter. You can’t just disparage it because it’s not the masculine one.”
Jimin snorts. “Whatever.”
Meanwhile, about 93 miles from there, Kim Namjoon sneezing in the way back home and Hoseok is grumbling irritated in front of him.
--
Taehyung didn’t forget to send the picture to Jungkook (like he promised) when they were in the coast. He took a selca with the reefstones as the background and also the mud and the people, and half of Jimin’s whining face as a result of a certain crab on his hand.
<spongemin getting punished by mr.krab>
Jungkook replied him the same time his food is coming (bulgogi and miso soup).
[sure he’s having fun there. kekeke. i bet he tries mud bath too]
<unfortunately no, buddy. not dare to foul his precious face>
[but mud masker good for facial?]
<u want to try?>

They finish off the day in the lodge playing with the board game that each of them has brought, because there’s rather a heavy rain outside. They’ve done to rounds of chess, five rounds jenga, one round of unfinished monopoly, and nine rounds of poker.
At 10PM, the situation was more heaten up. There’s sumo, chicken leg battle, and even pillow fight. Then suddenly dance battle embarks and Jimin almost toppled backward while trying to do b-boy pose so he back out from there and just watch from the side. Right when one of the teacher broke in and yelling for them to sleep, and the olympiade over.
But when everyone is getting ready to sleep, it’s Taehyung’s time to revenge.
Actually he saw the mess that namjoon2.0 did to Jimin before and kinda feel bad about it, but he’s not. When Jimin said well I guess I need to dump a shit it means he need to dump a big shit. So Taehyung waits when the door to the toilet in the end of the dark hallway closed, and turn off the switch lamp, knowing that Jimin must be in the middle of the business. There’s a small whimper sound and a taehyungahh. But Jimin will do nothing. Then Taehyung and the rest of the kids will waiting for him in their room.
One thing that’s fun from them are that they likes to take interesting items with them (or mostly useless) in the time like this. Like a snake ballpoint that one time and a hand shaped backscratcher in the summer camp. And surely they would agree to cooperate.
So when Jimin forced to shitdump in the dark, he needs to return to his room and found a bunch of white faces with empty eyesockets aka mask, of course he would be freaking out. Good for Taehyung he knows that Jimin have a great voice and his scream sounds like a girl, and makes the entire lodge awake.
Admonition goes to the ten felons that occupying the room.
(“I hate you, Kim Taehyung,” Jimin said while laiding out his mattress. There’s still a drop of tear on the corner of his eye.
“You started it, soprano,” Taehyung replied, shrugging.
Jimin was preparing without a sound afterward. But seems like still in a thought. Maybe he finally realize his sticker prank, Taehyung guess. “Okay we need to stop.”
Taehyung smirks. “You sure? This is fun.”
“For you.”
“You could do better.”
Jimin isn’t answering, standing with his back at Taehyung.
“Alright. Alright.” Taehyung lifting his arms to the air.
Jimin gives his little finger with a sullen face. Taehyung stares, seriously? But Jimin looks is a total serious.
So they finally doing pinky-swear that night. Jimin hates ghost anyway.)
--
At some time around the dawn before the sun is up, Taehyung has awake because somebody was shoving him.
“Taehyungie wake up!” Jimin whispered beside him.
He’s still half-asleep, still into his dream about a cute kitten inside a cardboard on the flank of the road that he’s about to adopt. They’re extremely adorable. He groaned. “What do you want.”
“It’s the first snow!”
And Taehyung was intended to continue his dream. He’s pulling his pink blanket up and turns from Jimin. “Yeah, we could see the snow tomorrow.”
“Come on Taehyungie, let’s watch now...hm?” It’s here again. Jimin’s aegyo. It’s so clear even in the middle of the night. “Taehyungie...”
He groans again. “Just five minutes.”
And Jimin immediately dragging him out (Taehyung keeps holding on his blanket) from the room and walking slowly down the hallway. It’s still dark and quiet, he could hear his own breath and step. There’s a light coming from the windows and Taehyung see the snow falling. He’s rubbing his sleepy eyes, while Jimin hold his hand, guiding him to the door on the backside of the building.
It’s seems like the kid was not even sleeping since last night, like Jimin was really waiting this moment. Jimin is unexpectedly excited, whatever the reason.
He opens the door and greeted by the wind. Taehyung wrap himself with the blanket more tight. “This is too cold, we need to get inside,” he says.
Jimin let go off his hand and Taehyung move inside, but then he sees the snow right in front of his eyes. He watch as it falls on his nose. It feel so cold when the snow is melt into water. Taehyung look up to the sky and it’s like a form of white troops coming down from the night. Wind doesn’t even become a problem. He awares of the steams that coming out from his nose and mouth. The first snow was always make him amazed.
“You say you want to go back?”
Taehyung needs a couple of seconds to process Jimin’s question. “No, I’ll stay here. I guess.”
And they sit on the backdoor stair, sharing pink blanket full of pride, stares at the snow that decorates the landscape with admire like they never saw it before, until Taehyung (who now is fully awake) feels a weight on his shoulder. Jimin is sleeping, snoring.
Taehyung smiles, who knows Jimin could be more adorable than the kitten in his dream.
--
Last day is skiing. They went to the hill near a mountain. They got a slightly low one, but for a beginner it still look steep. “Don’t go too far, stay in the track. Don’t get in the woods or even go near it.” Their scout—their teacher remind. As if they were an elementary shoolers.
But actually Jimin can’t even wear his board.
“How would you do without me Jimin,” Taehyung sighing and Jimin just grins. He get down and put Jimin’s shoes with his board. Rather than being his friend, Taehyung feels like he was doing Jimin’s babysitting job. Begin with waking him up, putting his jacket until applying his ski equipment. Maybe he should’ve demand Mrs. Park for a fee in the future.
“You’re not wearing your kneecap?” Jimin asks.
Taehyung look at his knee then to Jimin. “No I didn’t need it.”
“Do we really have to ride that?” Jimin pointed at the hanging cart not far from there that would take them uphill. Some of the kids already get in.
“Of course.”
Therefore that becomes the most annoying minutes in Taehyung’s life. They rode the cart and Jimin keeps screaming because he’s afraid that oh no way I could see down there and I’m gonna die but keep looking under where the hills are.
Taehyung rolls his eyes and look to the sky. Well, at least it’s still bright.
“Taehyung save me,” Jimin wailing.
“Alright kids, today is how to prevent panic in a hanging cart, first step: close your eyes with both hands,” he said weakly.
Of course dumb Jimin, he thought when Jimin just did exactly what he said. But he snickers and took a good picture of it, and this time he sent it to the group chat. Oh and he also record it.
>taetae: guess who is afraid of height
>monster: did i just saw park jimin cry and calling his mommy?
>taetae: youre not wrong
>hobi: kekeke, what did u do to him taehyung
>suga: jimin youre the embarrasment to my manly soul
>jindda: poor boy
>kookie: yep, posted it on the school page
>jindda: youre mean jungkook ah
And then about five minutes after.
>suga: take care of urself tae
He just shrugged it off, but still keeps that in mind. Yoongi is rarely attentive to him like that in daily basis, he’s so indifferent. So it’s kinda weird for him.
When they reached the top, Taehyung didn’t think it would be that high. Okay, he admit he’s a bit scared to slide down now, like suddenly the emotions flushing out from him. He was more brave then in the hanging cars, with a reason that he know it’s strong and save enough and he doesn’t need his own will to move.
And Jimin who just cried a moment ago was already rushing in front of Taehyung.
“Are you in or are you not?” he called out.
Taehyung gulped. The wind blows stabbing his ears, he readjust his cap. And the steep track underneath him looking back at him, waiting. As much as this kind of weather, he still could feel sweat down his spine, somehow feels hot.
“Taehyung!”
“Uh, give me a second.” He crouching and pretend to tie his shoestrap. Taehyung is thinking to go back and playing on the kid section track, it would be more promising than these terrifying gigantic track. But he know Jimin is gonna laugh at him and he would be look more ridiculous. But he can’t do this. Taehyung peeking at the slide track, Jimin was already far away, leaving him alone. No, he definitely couldn’t do that.
Taehyung’s actually already standing there long enough thus Jimin was arrived at the bottom and quite excited to take the second trip into the hanging cart and now he’s up beside Taehyung again.
“What takes you so long?” he asks.
“I was in the toilet,” Taehyung lied.
Jimin didn’t buy it. “Don’t tell me you’re scared.”
He was about to protest but Jimin suddenly push him and he was sliding down, shrieking. In the end, Taehyung who tries to play ski properly tumbled down in the snow and Jimin laughing satisfied.
They’re climbing up to the top a few times, and Taehyung thought that he starts to feel comfortable and all of those snow under his feet was not making him freaking out anymore. He could even paying back to Jimin when they were launching and playing around in the middle of the track. But little did he know when a person behind him nudged against his shoulder a little too hard, when he was doing a leap, made him skimming sideway to the trees, unbalanced.
He heard Jimin use the sticks! and he realized the things that he was holding and trying to brake off with it. He slipped directly to the pines instead. And almost felt a regret because he didn’t wear the kneecap before he hit the tree and fall unconscious.
--
Thirty minutes later and Taehyung just experience the most agonizing moment in his life.
“Your right leg hit the branches, and not only internal hemorrhaging occured, your bone was probably shifted during the event,” a doctor told him a moment ago. Taehyung was barely catch his words (well maybe a but, but probably shifted? Wtf?). He could only feel the pain on the side of his calf and the coldness because of snow.
“...so?”
“So we need to return it to its original position.”
And that doctor was not joking. He did something he called hurting for a good course and Taehyung feels like his leg was being twisted tightly and he screamed so loud and needs to bite a towel to shut himself. He almost fainted. After a while, the doctor was done and his leg got hung.
“Take a rest for a two or three days and don’t try to do activities that requires your body, I’m gonna bring the medicine,” the doctor said and walks outside.
Then Jimin come in with rather an abstract expression. “Erm, that’s sound pretty frightening,” he said.
“It’s nothing if you’re not in my shoes.”
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s not your fault, silly. I was not paying attention.”
“Really?” Taeyung rolls his eyes. “Okay then,” Jimin huffed and pull a chair to sit next to Taehyung’s bed. “I told the teacher and I think they’ll be here in a while. Bring you back to the lodge with the bus.”
Taehyung sighs. “That’s good,” he said. “I will never wanted to skiing again. Not only mom’s not gonna let me, I’m also shocked as well. But I’m okay now, you can go.”
“I know,” Jimin laugh. “I’m also done.”
“Why? You’re still enjoying it right?”
“Because you’re going to cry if I leave you,” Jimin teasing and Taehyung pretend to kick him with his left foot. “Aw, I know it must be hurt so bad. I’ve been through it you know.”
“When?”
“Back in the middle school, when we play in the park,” Jimin shrugging. “Fall from the swing.”
“Ah, that one. Yeah that hurts.”
“I can’t even speak.”
Taehyung frowning. His leg is hurt. Extremely hurt. And his head was so dizzy. The feeling of being scared before come again.
“It’s fine,” Jimin said softly, calming him. “I won’t tell anyone.”
So Taehyung cry, for the first time in front of Jimin. Jimin was the only one that always crying between them, Jimin was the most childish one. While Taehyung maybe could still holding back. He would never embarrass himself in front of the others. But now the pain won’t go away and Taehyung suddenly misses his mom and he wanted to hug the pink blanket.
Jimin let his shoulder for Taehyung to soaked it with his tears. He rub Taehyung’s back and Taehyung thought that Jimin was so warm.
“I want to go home,” he whimpers.
Jimin muttering what sounds like there, there, there and Taehyung was both amused and irritated because of it. He stops crying and wipe his now reddening face.
“Promise me you’re not telling the other,” he sobs.
Jimin rolls his eyes. “I promise, Tough Tae.”
“Alright then.” And now Taehyung was the one who asks for a pinky-swear. He decide to be more open to Jimin in the future.
--
But Taehyung with a crane of course would make people curious about what just happened.
They’ve arrived back home and it’s evening but Taehyung could see Hoseok standing by his gate. Then he could also see Seokjin and Yoongi playing with the snow on the sidewalk. All of them wrapped with thick clothes so he can’t even see Yoongi’s nose. After come out from the bus Jimin keeps escorting him, so he whispered I can do it alone, let me go and convinced him a few times until Jimin said okay. So now he’s walking alone and Jimin is in front of him.
“Did you guys having fun?” Seokjin grinning from ear to ear, welcoming.
Jimin opens his house gate and bent down when a snowball was throwned at him, and lost to the pile behind him. He sticking out a tongue to Hoseok. “We saw the first snow, you saw it too?”
“Definitely,” said Hoseok, preparing for another pitch. They were always like to watch the first snow together since kid, it’s like a ritual. “It makes Jungkook got cold.”
Jimin uttering oh i didn’t know that kid could get sick while a snow was flying at him, straight to the face. He curses and put his luggage down, then took a pretty much huge amount of snow for his missile. And that was the start of Cold War Jimin vs Hoseok. That also including a frightened Seokjin in the middle.
“Alright, what the hell happened to you?” Yoongi asked to Taehyung. “Don’t tell me it’s like what I’ve predicted.”
“What did you predict, hyung?”
“No, answer me first.”
“Um,” Taehyung stare at the bandage on his right leg. He know he already could walk normally but his teacher insisted him to wear it for a precause. “I—“
“Taehyung!”
Taehyung look up and see his mother on the porch. Taehyung shrugged to Yoongi and walks to her. She realize his cane on his side and gasps. “Mom I’m okay. Choi sonsaengnim said I really need this so...”
“I know, he called me,” she take Taehyung’s luggage from his hand. “I forgot to tell you about it.”
“About what?”
They get in the house and Taehyung waves to the hyungs before the door closed.
His mother quietly stares at him. He could sense she was about to tell him something bad. Taehyung hear her sighs. “That means you really didn’t remember,” she said. “Some time ago we had went to skiing, and you feel, hits hard into the snow head first. And you almost lost your memory for a while.”
“Lost?” Taehyung gulped. “Like amnesia?”
“It’s partial. You’ve just lost one whole month before that. But still it was a big deal.”
Taehyung were never heard of this. He just knew he had went to the ski. But then when he tried to remember anything from it, he got nothing except the fear on the top of the hill.
“It happened when you were so small,” his mother smile reassuringly. They move to the kitchen and she was already preparing for dinner in the table. “Yoongi was sorry, and I know it wasn’t his fault, but he keeps—“
“Yoongi hyung?”
“Yeah, he was there and he thought that he had pushed you too hard or something.” Pause. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you these soon.”
“No, you don’t need to be sorry.”
And Taehyung finally remember about what Yoongi did. His words before they went to the trip and the sudden caring message. It’s finally make sense.
The woman said that he could invite the kids outside to the dinner so Taehyung walks out and calls for them (which Jimin and Hoseok still into it), but then Jimin said his mother wants him at home so he’s not coming.
“Whoa, bulgogi,” Hoseok’s eyes sparkling. Seokjin slaps his back and immediately helping Mrs. Kim to spread the plate. Hoseok embarrassely follow him.
Taehyung sit on the chair, proping the crane on the side of the chair. He could a stare and see Yoongi was watching him. Who then walks up to Taehyung. “Maybe this would sound weird because you didn't even know—“
“I know, hyung,” Taehyung said. “I’m fine, you don’t have to worry about it.”
Yoongi rubbing his palms to his brown hair. He was about to talk, when Taehyung snaps again. “And I’m enough with people apologizing something they didn’t do to me today, because i feel that it was part of my clumsiness too,” he snorts. “I felt so apprehensive.”
“If you say so.” Yoongi’s concerned face turns into a grin. “Anyway, I just wanted to say that you did sounded like a pregnant cow in the clinic.”
“Huh?”
Taehyung frowns.
But Yoongi already went to help and Taehyung was still confused with his sentences. He need a couple more seconds to swallow all of it when it hit him, about the kid that was far more childish than him, the most troublemaker one. Taehyung blushes. Of course, who else.
Park Jimin.
