Chapter 0: Prologue
Ichika: Mnnn… did i fall asleep studying? Hehe…
[I wake up to the cold feeling of my desk. I must’ve fell asleep whilst studying for my physics test… Opening my eyes, i come to the realisation that…]
Ichika: E-eh?? This isn’t my room… what the hell
Ichika: AAAAA! THIS ISN’T MY ROOM
[I get up out of my desk. It’s the same seat that i sit in in my actual class… strange. I look around the classroom, noticing the windows are all bolted up. Not a single way to get outside]
???: Ehem… testing…testing… alrighty! Welcome everyone! Please make your way to the gym for an important announcement! See you~
Ichika: Who… That sounds like Miku?
[I make my way out of the classroom. The hallway had the same format as the classroom did. It was fairly easy to find the gym, being as there was giant signs lit up with light bulbs guiding me there. I reached the door to the gym, opening it to see-]
Saki: Ichi!!
[Saki ran up to hug me, I hugged her back, relieved that i knew someone. I lifted my head up to see around 18 other people. I knew a lot of them as well. I could see Honami and Shiho, the girls in MORE MORE JUMP!, Azusawa and her group, Kusanagi and her group and as well as Yoisaki and Asahina-Senpai’s group]
Honami: i’m so relieved you’re here… Saki couldn’t think straight since she was so worried about you
Ichika: Hehe… but Saki, why were you so worried?
Saki: well… i thought you had gotten lost!
Kohane: Erm… im so sorry to interrupt but where are we?
Haruka: beats me. Is it safe to say that we all woke up in a classroom?
[Everyone nodded their heads]
Tsukasa: Thats great! Seems we are all in the situation then… but i have some bad news! I don’t know all of you! Which is sad for you, it’s great to know me. Introductions, anyone?
[Everyone sort of stayed silent, i felt sort of bad for Tsukasa but at the same time, it was pretty much self inflicted]
Emu: Okay! I’ll start then! I’m Otori Emu! I’m the ultimate acrobat!
Tsukasa: I’ll go next! I am Tenma Tsukasa! I’m a star and the ultimate actor!
[Tsukasa performed a very dramatic bow, which earned a small round of applause from Saki. Tsukasa gestured to Nene to go next, which seemed to scare her a bit.]
Nene: ah… my name is Kusanagi Nene. I’m the ultimate musical theatre singer. nice to meet all of you
Rui: I’m Kamishiro Rui and I’m the ultimate inventor
Mizuki: My turn! The name’s Akiyama Mizuki. I’m the ultimate awesome person! Well… uh technically i’m the ultimate designer… which is still cool so maybe im the ultimate awesome designer! Yeah that’s better…
Ena: no mizuki, you’re the ultimate pain in the ass. Shinonome Ena. Ultimate Artist. Sorry about my friend, they’re delusional.
Mafuyu: Hehe… don’t be so mean Ena! I’m Asahina Mafuyu, please just call me Mafuyu though. I’m the ultimate scholar.
Emu: eep…
Tsukasa: Emu! You’re going to rip my jacket! Stop clinging onto me like a brain dead koala!
Emu: oops! Sorry… ahaha. Oh you there! What’s you’re name
Kanade: oh… i’m Yoisaki Kanade. I’m the ultimate composer. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
An: Okay i’ll go up next. My name is Shiraishi An! My ultimate is the ultimate barista! Great to meet you all!
Kohane: My name is Azusawa Kohane. My ultimate is the ultimate photographer. Great to meet you all.
An: awww! Kohane you copied my sentence structure!
Kohane: ah! Im sorry!
An: oh don’t apologise it’s super cute!
Akito: For god’s sake, An just leave the poor thing alone.
An: Don’t objectify Koha-
Akito: I’m Shinonome Akito. I’m the ultimate street performer and i’m toya’s ultimate partner. let’s all get along.
Toya: Aoyagi Toya. Ultimate Classicist.
Akito: Come on man, you can do better than that!
Toya: Oh, sorry. Was i that blunt? Forgive me. I’m Aoyagi Toya. I am the ultimate classicist. Please note that i do not mean that in terms of history, but instruments.
Akito: Not great, but better.
Airi: Okay. I’m Momoi Airi, the ultimate dancer! it’s awesome to meet and see you all!
Haruka: I’m Kiritani Haruka. The ultimate Idol. Don’t forget to be happy, everyone
Minori: oh my! Haruka that was sooo inspirational! i should introduce myself too then! I’m Hanasato Minori. I’m the ultimate aspiring idol, which isn’t as cool as Haruka’s ultimate, but it means i’m working super hard!
Shizuku: i think it’s cool in your own way, minori. I’m Hinomori Shizuku. Shiho’s Sister! Ultimate model.
Shiho: Seriously? Do i have to be involved in everything you say…
Shizuku: im sorry shii-chan!
Shiho: don’t call me that, for the nth time. I’m Hinomori Shiho, the ultimate bassist.
Honami: I’m Mochizuku Honami. My ultimate is the ultimate apple pie enthusiast! Just kidding! I’m the ultimate drummer. I hope we can all be friends.
Saki: I’m Tenma Saki! I’m the ultimate keyboardist. I think i know almost all of you! But just in case, I’m 16 years old, in the band Leo/Need. I like fashion and i’m Tsukasa’s sister!
Ichika: Okay, i think i’m the last one. I’m Hoshino Ichika and my ultimate is the ultimate.. I don’t actually know…
Emu: That’s a bit of a strange one… not trying to be mean!!
Tsukasa: That’s obviously not her ultimate.
Ichika: Tsukasa is right. I have no idea what my ultimate is… how did you guys find out?
Saki: On the little poster over there!
[Saki points toward a big poster hanging above the stage in the gym. My name is first on the list.]
Ichika: Okay, i see now, thanks Saki. I’m the ultimate singer.
???: AND I’M THE ULTIMATE PRINCIPAL! HATSUNE MIKU!
[A girl with two pigtails, one black, one white, jumped from behind the lectern. Said girl being Hatsune Miku. But nothing like the one i had seen before.]
Nene: Huh? Miku? But Miku…
Rui: She doesn’t look like that…
Nene: yeah…
Miku: Each sekai has a different miku! To avoid getting into a long conversation, you all have sekai’s, yada yada yada. This sekai isn’t school sekai, stage sekai, street sekai, wonderland sekai or empty sekai, no no no! This is Hope Sekai!
Miku: My goal here in Hope Sekai is to fill you with as much despair that is possible, maybe even more!
Airi: So, let me get this straight… this is the ‘hope sekai’, but you want to fill us with despair? What’s with the name then?
Miku: Hehe! Ironic isn’t it! Hope sekai will be you’re home forever!
Kanade: F..Forever?!
Miku: Forever! Unless… you want out!
Akito: hmm I wonder who wants to get out? ALL OF US!
Miku: calm down! There is a way you can get out. And it’s by the joyous act of murder!
Tsukasa: oh okay. Simple enough. Nothing a a star can’t do- WAIT A MINUTE! MURDER?
Miku: MURDER!
Tsukasa: MURDER?
Miku: MURDER!
Tsukasa: MURD-
Akito: Im going to have a stroke… please stop!
Miku: So! As i was saying. If you murder someone, which you can do in any way you’d like, and you don’t get caught, you can escape. If you get caught… well. You’d be punished for you’re sinful deeds!
Shiho: This has to be a cruel joke…
Miku: Nope! Any questions?
[Everyone was too shocked to speak]
Miku: I’ll take that as a no then. Ciao!
[I look around. Saki is clinging on to Tsukasa in fear. Kusanagi looks like she might just cry. Screw that, she’s crying. Asahina looks devastated. MORE MORE JUMP! Was just looking around in fear, Azusawa seemed to be trembling. Miku was… laughing, before jumping back right where she came from]
Ichika: We have to…
