FNoN Origins Part One: Fredbear's Family Diner

Summary:

Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate begin their lives at Fredbear's Family Diner. With Fredbear and Spring Bonnie to guide them, they learn about performing stage shows, celebrating birthdays, and getting along with the Diner's staff and guests.
Everything seems perfect, but unfortunately all is not well in the family of their creator, William Afton, and that is going to have dire consequences for everyone...

 

This is the beginning of the backstory for my other fan fic: Five Nights of Nonsense. It was written after the original fic, but you can start with either of them.

FNoN Origins is an AU retelling/reimagining of FNaF canon, with the catch that the Animatronics were always sentient. Part One is based on the mini games in FNaF 4, and takes place in the years 1986 to 1987.

Extra Info about the Alternate Universe nature of Five Nights of Nonsense Origins

 

  • This is a No Ghosts AU.  None of the Animatronics are haunted, there are no souls of children trapped anywhere, and Remnant does not exist.  The Animatronics get their personalities from advanced AI, rather than from being haunted.
  • The Bite of 87 in FNoN is the Bite of 83 in canon (aka the one with Fredbear).  Canon never did anything with the real Bite of 87 anyway....
  • Every Animatronic who had a variable or unstated gender in canon is now female.  In this part of the series, that only affects Spring Bonnie.
  • "Parts and Service" is now "Parts and Services."  Canon can fight me.
  • "Mrs. Afton's" first name is Eleanor.  The "Crying Child" is named Lucas Afton.  I've been using these names for a year, and I'm not going to change them every time a dubiously canon source implies differently.
  • Henry Emily's wife is named Samantha/Sammy.  She is also alive.
