It was a Saturday morning and Toichi was sitting in the kitchen, drinking a cup of tea and relaxing on his free day. He was reading the newspapers, an old habit that he still kept up, even if it was more convenient to read it on his phone; it just felt more substantial to have something physical to flip through. Breakfast was laid out before him, but he paid it no mind yet.
A naked figure, clad only in black boxer briefs, entered the kitchen. His initial reaction was to raise an eyebrow and greet Kaito good morning, of course. Chikage was in Taipei now, so there was only the father and son duo supposed to be in the house, but one proper glance at the man and he knew that his initial deduction was all wrong.
Before him was none other than the Heisei Holmes, Kudou Shinichi. A very naked Kudou Shinichi. He looked rumpled up, hair a bird's nest (ironically making him look more like Kaito than he already did) and his body was covered in hickeys and nail marks. Toichi could see them all along his rather muscular torso and neck. Well, someone had a fun night, alright.
Said detective appeared to not even notice Toichi´s presence, all of his attention on the coffeemaker. He stared blankly at it, as it did its job. Toichi just observed. After a while, the younger man turned around to him and said, voice hoarse, "Coffee?" while offering a cup of coffee to Toichi.
"Of course," the magician took the cup of coffee out of his hand and then proceeded to watch him make another two cups, no doubt for Kaito and himself. Maybe he should have chimed in to tell him that Kaito didn´t like coffee, but he let it be. This was entertainment enough.
When he was done, Toichi was surprised that the younger man didn´t go to Kaito but rather took a seat next to Toichi and drank his coffee in peace. Both cups. Completely unperturbed that he was sitting naked next to the father of the man he had sex with the previous night.
Well then, Toichi wasn´t bothered by it, but he would make sure to tease Kaito. Who would have thought that his and Yukiko´s kids would end up together one day, at least in bed.
