Sexuality: Demisexual Gay (idk if I typed that out correctly so sorry if it looks stupid and doesn't go together!)
Type of species: Archangel, usually in the lower half of the pyramid of the Heavens; just above Guardian Angels.
Body appearance (It's a long one I'm sorry): Extremely long, slightly tangled, straight, pure white hair. His hair is covered in plastic yellow and orange stars to represent he's in the "Reporter" side as he's usually sent in space to the different planets. His eyes are light yellow with white strokes across them, no pupils...just irises staring at you. His usual face expression? Okay, so you know Wally Darling (??) From Welcome Home? That's Markov's neutral face 24/7 but he just looks more like he's in a constant state of confusion and curiosity than innocence or smugness. His skin tone is a somewhat dark tan, so to a human's eyes and understatement, Markov is a black genderless angel.
Clothes: Worn out yellow work shirt, sleeves rolled to elbows with a white tie that's somewhat loose. Light grey dress pants that are also rolled up to his knees. No shoes...Like he's completely barefoot.(😱)
Wings: They're far more bigger than the average angels' and guardian Angels'. He has two types of wings, the big ones that mainly are use for longer flight and slight defense. And small ones that are usually hidden in the back, those help Markov and reporters with steadying themselves both on land and in air like a squirrel's tail.
((Reporters aren't exactly taught how to defend themselves, as they're not suppose to be on the battlefield so although they have bigger wings, they're more vulnerable to attacks from other entities and even other demons.))
Job/ Work occupation: "Reporter". Basically he gets sent to different timelines and different universes to study how it works. How he does it is he lives in the universe for a few decades...maybe a eon or two to really know everything, take notes on how different organisms work and how they attribute to their society as a whole, and once he has enough evidence he gets sent back to the Heavens and reports what he's discovered to the "The council".
The council: What's the council? Just think of it as different gods, about 5-8 higher beings at best and they're basically bosses to Markov and other angels. Heaven in this universe is just a workplace, and oh boy do they get treated like absolute shiiiittt...
Location on The Heavens: The heavens nor Hell are even anywhere close to Earth, they both actually are behind Pluto. How the Council treats their angels is gonna need it's own segment(section?? Idk)
Some info on Angels in general: Before we continue, I just want to add one that majority of angels aren't spirits of humans for most are made BY The Council. The lowest of the low are just guardian angels as their the only angels that used to be humans (The council isn't a great fan of humans so they try to sent them to Earth as much as possible.) And also every single angel is immortal BUT they can still feel pain and get sick, the pain is actually a bit more exaggerated. So angels are forbidden to drink anything that's more unhealthy than a juice box so no soda and definitely no alcohol, they'll easily throw it up and for candy? They'll just have a intense sugar rush that'll go on for a few hours to a few days.
'Workplace': Yeah so... The council and the Heavens in general isn't all that innocent, they don't treat the "employees" like humans, but objects. They're extremely strict on rules as one is how literally no angel should talk to each other if it isn't about work as their "worried they could sin." and another being if you disagree with their opinions on anything you will be "rightfully" punished.
Info on Punishments: Usually if a low ranking angel, like a guardian angel, were to break said rules they will be dragged into the "Room" (I'm so creative ikr). This "Room" is basically just a torture chamber. What they do is they either pluck the feathers on only one wing slowly, remove one of their eyes in a brutal manner, or just straight up decapitation. Higher ranked angels will have it a bit easier, with just demotion and then torture. :3
Markov's punishment: Yeah so.... Our boy Markov broke a rule cuz he wanted to talk to another reporter on why he's even doing this, yikes. They sent a higher ranked angel, basically that's like their "pearl" (Steven universe fans will get it) to fetch Markov and sent him to the office. They discuss what he's done and he, being confused on why he's here, begins to question The Council and their overall morals. The council is furious at this, as their morals and opinions are they want to erase humanity and take over their Earth as they don't deserve it, and sent Markov to the "Room". What they also do is in order to be "squeaky clean", they order a low ranked demon disguised as an angel to do the torture for them. Yeah so....... They choose to do the eye one. Slowly and brutally, the demon removes Markov's right eye by hand. As angels are immortal but can feel intense pain, so Markov is obviously screaming in pain as this goes on. After that they inject a mysterious yellow liquid into his body, it some way relieves the pain but also makes him more fainthearted. So basically after the torture they kinda reset his mind and make his body a bit more sluggish and slow. The yellow liquid appears in the veins and show more boldly on the arms, legs, and chest as a way to mark that this angel was had the Punishment... There's no way to get rid of it, he's stuck with that reminder for the rest of his immortal life.
General backstory/plot thing idk: A few weeks after Markov's painful torture, they decide he's ready to get back to work and sends him to a certain universe... Not knowing this one is filled to the brim with bloodthirsty demons and unknown entities. Markov does the usual, explore and take. Notes whatever whatever, but as he does this he finds a certain someone... A demon. This demon is actually a very powerful one, one that everyone fears. But he's not Lucifer or anything, just a really strong demon... His name is "Onoxe" At first they're both terrified of each other, as rumors have been spread about how demons are bloodthirsty beasts and angels being manipulative shape shifting entities. But then later on get over each other fears.... Then they become friends annnnndd- Ah shit, now they fell in love with each other and Markov plans to escape The heavens and permanently live with Onoxe.
Personality: If you know this character named "ENA" that was made by Joel G, that's literally just Markov. Before the council erased the memories of the punishment, he was a typical "Hardworking and confident nerd that was a teacher's pet". But right after the punishment, he became not only quiet and reserved but also naive. He's actually both a mixture of ENA and Airy (hfjONE), especially with how he speaks, it's literally just how Airy talks.
