Work Text:
Mobius and Loki were enjoying a day of rest, snuggled together on the couch. Soft music played in the background, adding to the gentle atmosphere of the late afternoon.
Loki tightened his arms around Mobius, who snuggled even closer.
The god sighed contentedly and said simply, "This is so good."
Mobius looked up at Loki who was looking in front of him and replied softly, "You're right, it's perfect."
In fact, the moment was so perfect that neither of them could find a superlative strong enough to describe their shared sense of fulfillment.
Loki turned his gaze to Mobius and they shared a smile.
One that belonged only to them.
In the next second, they didn't know who had made the first move, but it didn't matter when their lips met.
It didn't matter which one of them opened their lips to let the other's tongue enter and begin the familiar dance.
It didn't matter which one of them brushed his fingers along the back of the other's neck or which one moaned in response.
It didn't matter because it was the same love that drove them both.
So when they parted to catch their breath, it didn't matter who spoke first because it would be to say the same words.
"I love you."
