Work Text:
Mobius, lying on the couch with his head in Loki's lap, was about to fall asleep when Loki waved a sheet of paper in front of his nose and asked, "Do you have anything to add?
Mobius, confused, asked, "What are you talking about?"
Loki replied, "I just finished writing a letter to Mother, and I was just asking if you wanted to add anything.
Mobius shook his head, too tired to move, "Just give her my best regards.
A small breeze lifted the curtains and Mobius shivered slightly, curling up a little more against Loki.
Loki noticed this and after putting down his letter and pen, he pulled the blanket from the back of the couch and laid it over Mobius, wrapping him warmly.
Mobius smiled, enjoying the warmth of the blanket.
Then he lifted one of the corners and said softly, "Will you join me? I'll get warm even faster that way."
Mobius did not have to repeat it. Loki stood up, making sure to place one of the sofa cushions under Mobius' head, and then slipped under the blanket. As he laid his head on Mobius' shoulder, Mobius covered them both and then chuckled into his hair, "Could this be a ploy by the God of Mischief to get more hugs?"
Loki rolled his eyes and replied, "Of course, and I also blew the wind to make you cold."
Mobius replied, "Even if you did, I wouldn't blame you, because for me too, any means is good for a hug from my god."
Loki laughed softly, kissing Mobius' chin before moving closer to him, murmuring against his skin, " So all's well that ends well."
Mobius tightened his arms around him, "Of course, as far as we're concerned."
Neither of them needed to say the words that echoed in their heads at that moment.
For all time, always.
