Summary
Desire stares at him, their golden eyes heavy lidded with a cat-like amusement.
"Oh, darling," they say. Hob wrinkles his nose.
"What do you want?"
"What do I 'Desire'?"
"Just tell me, mate. I don't have much desire to play twenty questions with the person who directly contributed to the suicide of my best friend."
Desire opens perfectly painted lips, the exact colour of a bruise, and then closes them again. They look to Despair, who shifts anxiously.
"It is a delicate matter. We'd like to come in, Hob Gadling. It is about our late brother."
An accusatory silence settles for a few seconds, and then Hob disrupts it like a startled flock of birds, shoving the door open wider.
"Fine. Make it quick though, I've got stuff to do."The twins come to Hob at the behest of their late brother, to fulfil his final wish - with Hob's help.

Lord Morpheus develops an interest in the demon Crowley's dreams. Is he searching for an answer to his own problems regarding an immortal human being?
[This was basically just born out of the need to have Aziracrow and Dreamling interact. Mainly the gothic boyfriends, but all of them in general. As per usual, these idiots had a mind of their own and kept on yapping. Oh well.]

After Dream spurns Hob at the White Horse Inn in 1889, he curses the human to only have nightmares, as punishment for his impudence. However, Dream is captured before he removes the curse, and Hob is left to suffer for well over a century.
When Dream misses their meeting in 1989, the Corinthian sees an opportunity to use Hob's curse to his pleasure and advantage. When Dream finally escapes, he has a great deal of pain to make up for, but with the Corinthian still on the loose, he may not get the chance.Bookmarked by UldAses
