Summary
The Dursleys are abusive, everyone knows that, it is fairly obvious after all. So when they push things too far Harry's magic acts to protect them. They transform into a snake and make their escape, some time later Professor McGonagall finds a snakey feral child at the Lovegood house. One that has a very familiar lightning bolt scar and is clearly a young witch who has run away from an abusive home. She realizes just how bad young Harry's life must have been and decides to adopt them. Her reasoning is simple: screw Albus and his greater good, she is going to raise her kid this snake child to be the greatest quidditch prodigy wit- wiz- snake of all time.
Also everyone is gay, and Harry is a genderqueer snakeperson. Who might and might not eat magic.
