Work Text:
It had been the morning after Glam had ended up at Ches' doorstep with the echoing yelling of his father in his head.
Before that he'd felt comfortable around Ches. However living with him would take some getting used to.
"Hey, Glam." Ches said as he entered the room. Glam had been laying in bed, having his eyes open and just thinking after he'd finally managed to get a full nights sleep after weeks. His eyes drifted over to him, and to the bag he held.
Ches noticed his look and smiled, taking out some wrapped up food and putting it on the stand next to him,"Yeah, we've never actually gotten to eat anything fresh before since everything's closed at night. I thought it was a good opportunity." Ches said, keeping the mood light as he sat on the bed next to him.
Glam sat up, eyeing the food with a confused and curious gaze. "Why did you wrap it up like that?" He asked.
Ches laughed,"What? I didn't do it. They did it!"
"..They?"
"The workers, you know, the people who make the food." Ches showed him the bag with the logo on it.
Glam understood then. "Oh, I've.. never had any of that kind of stuff before."
Ches gasped and put a hand on his chest,"Don't say that! Come on, I know you're- but you had to have had something- just try it!" He sputtered and smiled, unwrapping one of the items. "You're about to have the best experience of your life."
Glam looked at the foreign, greasy item not sure how to feel about it. It definitely heat oatmeal, but just about anything would. He unwrapped his own and opened his mouth, going to take a bite and- "Stop looking at me like that! I can't do it when you're watching." Glam lightly scolded.
Ches laughed,"Sorry, it's just, I'm watching you become a real rockstar." He pretended to wipe a tear from his eye.
Glam rolled his eyes fondly, turning away from him in order to take a small bite. It was.. a lot, all at once. He coughed as he swallowed it. His tastebuds had been deprived for so long that he could feel them bursting.
"Sooo?"
"So it's... overwhelming." Glam answered, but kept taking small bites. "Unhealthy. But better than what I'm used to. Although I'll take the liberty in cooking while I'm here. It's the least I could do anyway." He said with a small smile.
Ches returned the smile,"Yeah, well... your cooking better be better than this stuff if you want me to eat it."
