All Because of You!

Summary:

AU Where Billy survived and went into hiding, later Sam finds him and every now and then pops in because she thinks of questions that only he has the answers to.

This is not one of times, this time Sam can’t help but be angry at Billy. If he hadn’t gone on his killing spree her life couldn’t be in shambles. If her mother never slept with a serial killer she would still have her (step) father.

It’s all Billy’s fault…right?

Chapter 1: Pin It All on Me if it Makes You Feel Better

Chapter Text

For a man who was supposed to be a serial killer, he was surprisingly nice, to her at least. That was the thought going through Sam’s head as she drove on over. Billy Loomis, or Alex Mancini as he had been going by for the past seventeen years, was used to her visits by now.

At first, when Sam followed the all most none existen paper trail that led her to Billy, she just had a few questions for him. Of course the first time she visited him and she told him she was his daughter he laughed in her face. Then had some sort of internal crisis when he realized that she wasn’t laughing.

The second time he just sighed and rested his head against the door frame before letting her in. The talked for awhile and he also let her in on how he chose the name Alex Mancini. Child’s Play, the horror movie, Andy Barclay was played by Alex Vincent and the one of the directors was Don Mancini. Honestly Sam was disappointed in herself with the fact that she didn’t see that coming.

The third time Billy seemingly got tired of Sam popping up and just made her a copy of the key. That way she could just let herself in if Billy wasn’t home and she could just wait for him. This was not going to be one of those visits however.

Sam didn’t know where this mood came from, but she was incredibly angry at Billy. If he hadn’t cheated on Sidney with her mom she couldn’t exist, if Billy never committed murder her life never would have gone done the drain. If her mom never cheated on her dad she wouldn’t have written that entry in her diary she found!

So yes, her plan was to drive to Billy and air her grievances on him. Was this the best plan she’s ever come up with? No, it wasn’t it was the farthest thing from a good plan. She didn’t care though, she stopped caring if Billy lost it on her awhile ago. It would only prove her point, that he didn’t care about anyone or anything, besides Stu…maybe.

She parked her car in the driveway, Billy’s house was rather nice. Simple but a nice two story house, the other car in the driveway told her that someone was home. Taking a deep breath she got out of her car and started pounding on Billy’s front door. She wasn’t going to be using her key for this.

When Billy opened the door he looked like hell, he was wearing sweatpants and an oversized sweatshirt that clearly belonged to Stu. Sam suddenly felt bad for intruding on…whatever this was that he was going through. Her anger boiled through her guilt however and she pushed passed him, letting herself in.

”I really hate you. You know that?” Sam hissed the moment she got inside, she guessed she was getting right to it

Excuse me?” Billy scoffed, even though it was obvious he was shocked and confused by the sudden statement

Sam glared at him, he didn’t deserve this, not from her at least from someone else probably. Not her however, she barely knew him after all. Either way, it didn’t matter, as it was her now.

”I really hate you. If you never cheated on Sidney, If you never went on a murder spree my life would be fucking fine!” Sam yelled, her face starting to turn bright red

“I hate to tell you kid, but if I didn’t fuck your mother you wouldn’t exist” Billy hissed, his own anger starting to boil

“Exactly! Then maybe my mom would’ve had me with my ‘step-father’ and I could’ve had a normal life. One without you!” Sam hissed back, a dark smile crossing her face “Or maybe I wouldn’t even exist at all! That sounds nice.”

Billy and Sam stared each other done, neither of them even coming close to backing down. He seemed to be trying to think of what he was going to say, she waited hoping that whatever he said would fuel her fire. Instead of yelling like she hoped he would, he responded calmly.

”Well, I’m sorry that you feel that way. But even I can’t change the past.” Billy told her, a scowl still on his face

“Ah yes, the god complex, of course you think I want you to bless me and change the past.” Sam mocked, even if it didn’t make such sense

Billy’s fists clenched as he stared at her, his eye twitched, and he bit at his lips. All signs of him starting to get pissed off, usually when that happened Sam would get Stu, he could always calm Billy down. This time however, she was glad that he was getting pissed off. She wanted him to get angry, she wanted him to yell at her.

Billy looked like he wanted to say something but he just opened and closed his mouth a few times. Instead he just kept staring at her, eventually she lost her patiences and went back to snapping at him. She stalked back towards him and stopped right in front of him, not really sure where this risky courage was coming from.

”I hate you and I don’t need you” Sam hissed, leaning in as close as she could to his face

Billy snarled a little bit but didn’t say anything, instead he backed away from. She watched as he walked towards the front door once more and opened it, motioning for her to leave.

”If that’s how you feel, then tell me why you’re still here?” Billy asked, an eyebrow raised

Sam shook her head in thought, why was she still here? She had said what she came to said, and even if Billy’s reaction wasn’t what she wanted. She had no reason to stay here anymore, so she threw the spare key he gave her at his head and started walking towards the door.

She didn’t see him catch it, thankfully as that probably would’ve made her even more mad. If she had seen him catch it however she also would’ve been the shocked and sad look on his face, but she didn’t see.

”Fine, then go, get out of here and go!” Billy hissed “God, I wish I never met you!”

Sam laughed bitterly “Finally, something we agree on!”

She stormed out, not looking back and ignoring the feeling of dread in her. She would not turn back because this was setting herself free. Even if a small voice in the back of her head was telling her this wasn’t the way.
