“My son is older than you, actually,” came the rather late and clipped response, and Alexander pursed his lips.
“Your son, huh,” he mused and gave a sharkish grin, a scheme taking shape behind his forehead. “I take it you consider yourself more than just his stepfather?”
A dangerous, dangerous manoeuvre he was attempting, one that might very well get him thrown out of Washington's bed if it went awry, but… he had a hunch. From the way his General reacted to some of his teasing, the way he acted towards him in general, even the pet names he so carefully picked out.
And, well. Alexander wasn’t above admitting to his own deep-seated issues if it meant exploiting Washington’s at the same time–and securing himself a good, thorough fucking while he was at it.
