Summary
Naruto is a barista at a small cafe. Sasuke is his favorite customer. The two grow closer as they start studying together after Naruto's shifts end.
Naruto's head finally pops up from looking at his phone to follow Kiba's line of sight. Squinting through the front window, he sees what the other man is motioning toward. A bright neon sign flickers on and off. The sign is of a woman with her heeled foot sticking out. Each iteration of the flickering sign has her lowering and raising her leg.
"Oh," Naruto near-whispers, too shocked to know how to react. They both stare at the sign a few seconds longer until Kiba finally turns to him and says:
"Hey, man. Maybe he's like… the janitor. Or something. You feel?"
Naruto swallows thickly, unable to tear his eyes away from the sign.
"Yeah," Naruto chokes out. "Maybe."
