Good day, recipient.
My name is Obake. I saw that you signed up for a Pen Pal Program with a pen name, so I did the same as well, if that’s alright? I found your profile on the stall’s desk and I found a few things in common with you.
I will introduce myself here. My name is Obake, I am from Inazuma, I have a younger brother, a father, and a ghost friend. I like to read light novels occasionally, and I like the outdoors.
You know, I find writing letters like this pretty awkward, so I apologise for anything that seems off.
I believe some things we have in common are being workaholics, reading, and going outside. What are your favourite sights to see? What is your favourite genre? What do you do for a living?
That will be all from me for now. I will await your reply, Kaihua.
Signed,
Obake

Greetings, recipient!
Finally, I received a letter from the program! I had thought it was some sort of scam at first, but it turns out that I was wrong. Hello, Obake!
I have no need to introduce myself, but I guess I could say that I’m Kaihua, from Liyue, and I have a big family. I’m quite excited to know that we have common interests! No need to feel awkward.
I will answer your questions. I love seeing flowers blossoming, which is kind of where I got my name from. I also like seeing people going about their lives, they look so natural and so alive, the imaginary candid shots I keep in my head are beautiful.
My favourite book genres are mystery and horror. You mentioned liking light novels, right? Well, I have a relative who is a light novel writer, pretty famous over there in Inazuma, from what I heard. He’s Zhenyu.
I work as a security officer and an accountant. I’m employed by two government establishments, so I believe I could say I work for the government.
Now, I have a few questions about you. You interest me…
You mentioned having a ghost friend. What are they like? Do you need an exorcism? I know a guy.
And it seems that you forgot to state your gender, you don’t have to, but I was curious.
I like your writing style. It’s so calm, serene, and decisive, with a hint of childlike wonder or excitement. Sorry for the sudden compliment.
I cannot wait to hear more from you, Obake. I shall anticipate your letter.
With regards,
Kaihua
