"I don't want you there tonight your absence will insure that tonight is perfect." " Your sister is right Mirabel this dinner must be perfect and sometimes the best thing we can do is step aside and let others do what they do best." The words of her abuela and sister echoed in Mirabel's mind. 'What happened to how they felt about her before' Mirabel thought to herself and although she had no definite answer she believed one thing was for sure 'It my fault somehow I made them all hate me when I didn't get a gift'. As Mirabel cried a steady flow of tears before she knew it she was asleep in a pool of her own sadness.
Meanwhile in the Casita dining room,
The engagement dinner of Isabela madrigal and Mariano Guzman was about to begin when the man of the hour asked what a few others were already thinking "Where's Mirabel " Mariano said with concern in his voice. This made Alma and Isabela both stiffen in their seats. "She was not feeling well and went to bed early " Alma replied immediately. Mariano raised an eyebrow suspiciously. But before anyone else could speak every one was thrown into a strange new room made by Casita. It had even woken mirabel up and brought her down too along with someone no one had seen for 10 years.
"Uh her guys long time no see" Bruno madrigal awkwardly chuckled. That was the worst thing he could have ever said at the moment. In an instant he was tackled by Pepa and Julieta their voices overlapping with questions like: 'where have you been, why does it look like you haven't slept in forever, and have you been eating.'
Mirabel was still daizy from just waking up was confused about how she got out of the nursery and where she was. Antonio seeing his prima ran up and hugged her legs which brought her back to reality or what ever it was.
"Mirabel why weren't you at dinner Luisa and Tia doesn't like it when you skip meals" Antonio said worriedly. Mirabel was overcome with anxiety at the question it didn't help that everyone had their eyes on her now. Before she could say anything a strange glow appeared and suddenly a new pair appeared one was a man that looked to be about Luisa's age and the other was a woman who they couldn't get a good look at.
Mirabel breathe out a sign of relief. 'Thank goodness ' she thought to herself before asking "Who are you two" to the new people. The young man rose to his feet and realized who they all were. " Hola my name is Adrian " he said surprisingly calm.
"Do you why we are here young man" asked Senora Guzman. "Lo siento senora I don't, one minute I being threatened to be struck by lightning the next I'm in a dark room with my wife" adrien replied leaving the madrigals shocked because only one person had that kind of power.
"Why would I strike you with lightning " asked a very confused pepa who had a cloud firming which shockingly Alma didn't scold her for. Adrian chuckled "Because your very protective of your precious nubecita" Pepa froze she had only ever used that nickname for one person and this man calmed to be her husband.
"Oye Adrian please don't tick off Tia Pepa I already told you ...." The woman who came with adrien began as she struggled to get up and when Adrian brought her to her feet everyone saw why she was heavily pregnant "our baby needs their father" she finished running a hand over her sleeveless dress showing that she was very far along in her pregnancy it was also revealed who she was.
"OH MY GOD you're ME" exclaimed a shocked mirabel. "OH man your faces. Where's a camera when you need one?" Adrian laughed. Older mirabel elbowed him making him stop "Yes I'm Mirabel madrigal and this is my husband adrien" the older Mirabel stated.
"Your husband?"
"YOU MARRIED OUR SOBRINA"
"Haha Mirabel this IS NOT funny"
Everyone's feeling of shock and confusion were not feelings of overprotectiveness towards Mirabel. Before anyone could ask more questions a magical voice appeared.
"Silence everyone there will be time for questions later" said the voice of a man with a pale complexion and bright white hair wearing a white suit with flames embroidered on it. By his side was a woman with tan skin, and long, wavy brown hair wearing a beautiful dress with embroidery that resembled the encanto.
"Who are you?" Alma asked she was afraid they were threats to her home. The woman chuckled and introduced them as the spirit of Casita and the miracle. Once again everyone had their mouths hung open in shock.
"I know how unbelievable this all is but we brought you all here for a reason something very grave is coming however there's a away for you all to stop it. The solution is very simple you must watch the events that occurred in the world that the older mirabel and adrien came from and learn from it in order to prevent the future events" explained the spirit of the miracle.
"Older Mirabel I can always sense your unease and don't worry even this is done you and adrien will be sent back to where you came from nothing will change for the two of you" Casita was able to calm the nerves of the two with her soothing voice and reassuring words.
"Goodbye and please for the sack of the future learn from your mistakes" the miracle spoke one last time before he and Casita disappeared and in their place was a large screen that would allow them to watch the future there was also a remote placed on the table in front of everyone that would allow them to pause it. Everyone sat down and Alma spoke up " you all heard the miracle we must do this for the good of the encanto". And with that it all began.
