“It’s only a matter of time before somebody figures out that–”
Rumi turns the TV back on, and they’re faced with the pictures that have been haunting them for a week now.
The first features Rumi, undisguised, holding hands with a tall figure whose features are blocked by a nondescript baseball cap and the glare off their glasses.
The next is of Mira, casual but recognizable, kissing someone beneath the edge of their bright yellow bucket hat.
And the last shows Zoey, arms thrown around the neck of a person who’s buried so deeply in their pink hoodie they look like they’re attempting to disappear inside of it.
“–is us,” Rumi finishes, jabbing the remote toward the screen. “All of us.”

For a moment, before brown eyes glint with demonic yellow, she sees her brother. She doesn't see the club in its hand or the winding swing aimed at her torso. Because even when he turned his back on her, Min-ho had never once hit her.

Summary
"Derpy," Mira's voice is firm and tired. "Get down from the counter."
He looks at Mira, stops what he's doing, and then proceeds to actually get down from the counter. They all freeze.
"Mira." Rumi blinks. "Mira, he never listens to any of us."
Zoey's standing in the back with her hands in her hair going: "Whoa! Holy shit! It's you! You're the spirit-demon-tiger whisperer! You're our only hope! Maybe he'll finally stop stealing my food!"
OR: Rumi brings a giant tiger home. Unfortunately, he only listens to Mira.
