   Summary

   The day went on as usual, Enid receiving birthday wishes from everyone in their small friend group. It wasn’t until lunch that things took a turn for the worse, when her eyes wandered to a certain goth girl and her certain monster of a boyfriend.

   Things worsened when the girl’s eyes met Enid’s. Enid thought that she saw a flash of guilt, maybe? But then Wednesday’s eyes hardened. And they both looked away.

   Flashbacks of memories that she had tried to suppress as she moved on flooded her brain.
