He scoops the boy up as gently as he can, taking him into his embrace.
Up close, he can appreciate the beauty further— long lashes that cast themselves along pale cheeks with gentle kisses littering the skin. He doesn’t have Jake’s freckles, nor does he have the stamp of the sunlight, but in its place is an ethereal glow. He looks like moon dust and gentle tides. Like the trench where all of the eternal creatures lie.
At last, the ocean speaks. Come back now, Jaeyun, she says. Come home.
Jake pulls the boy into him, their legs intertwining. The ocean tugs them up towards the surface, and Jake breathes.

this was so enjoyable to read ^-^ the language used to describe and bring life to the characters and the ocean herself, it was all so beautiful! i love the chemistry made between jake and sunghoon too ,,,, their contrast of being sun and moon, sea and land.
it really felt like a gentle sea breeze and was so lovely to read aaa <3 -
