You have been friends with Leon even before you two started going out together. You were also friends with the other guys like Chris and Carlos. Believe it or not, you are also friends with Wesker. Who Leon used to be so jealous of because you’re the only one that Wesker allowed to call him by his first name or some silly nickname but sooner than later he realized it was nothing but pure platonic relationship between you two. And Wesker will always find reasons to tease you both.
So, when your good of a boyfriend left for a mission this morning, you hadn’t expected a call from Wesker. You stood there a few seconds before answering. You’re mind already playing shitty scenarios in your head. Wesker never calls you. Despite being friends, the only time you interact with one another is when you see each other in person.
Did Leon get hurt?
Did something bad happen?
Is he dead?
“H-hello?” you stutter on the line. Waiting for any type of bad news.
“Y’know we can arrest you for destruction of Government property, right?” he stoically said on the line.
“What?” you’re very confused now.
“You harmed government property, don’t do it again.” He said then hung up the line.
What the fuck?
You immediately called Leon’s phone.
“Hey, babe!” He answered sweetly.
“Hey… did something happen?” you asked. Confusion still evident only our voice.
“What do you mean?”
“Wesker just called me saying shits about destruction of government property…”
You heard him spit his drink and you’re sure as hell heard Carlos giggling and Chris laughing.
Leon then started laughing too. Which confuses you even more.
“Leon, what is happening?” irritation laced on your voice.
“Sorry, Babe. It’s just that…” he stopped to laugh again, and you heard him sniff and probably wipe away a tear for laughing too hard.
“It’s the hickeys, babe.” He continued while still trying to suppress his laugh.
“The what?”
“The Hickey you left on my neck this morning before I went to work. Wesker said I work for the government. Thus, I’m government property…” you heard him and the others started laughing again. And this time you can’t help but laugh with them too.
“What the fuck?” you said while laughing.
“I know, I just laughed it off when he said it this morning. I didn’t know he would actually call you.” you were both laughing now.
“God! He’s such an idiot most of the time.” You said while shaking your head.
“You know what he said? ‘You harmed government property, don’t do it again.’ then hung up the phone on me.” You continued and another set of laughter erupted on Leon’s side and you just smiled at the silliness of it all.
“Don’t worry about it, babe. I’ll let you destroy me as many times as you want.”
“Shut up, Leon! I don’t wanna spend time in jail.”
