Trapped In SEKAI

Summary:

After entering SEKAI, "Untitled" suddenly gets deleted on their phones. Now the Virtual Singers are in the real world and SEKAI users are trapped in their SEKAIs. Now all SEKAIs have to work together to solve this error (well - after the Virtual Singers conquer the world, of course.)

Notes:

I hyperfixated too much. this is the result. also first time posting on AO3!

Kanade closed the Nightcord tab on her computer. 25:00 should be in about 2 hours and 6 minutes. Guess I'll wait till then.

"Hey! you guys are here!" Mizuki exclaimed happily "I noticed that the Virtual Singers aren't here, why's that?"

"Huh? They aren't here?" Ena asked.

"Yeah! couldn't find them anywhere, I was thinking that it might have to do something with Mafuyu."

"I don't know what happened." Mafuyu said. "Wait — then where are——" Mizuki's phone buzzed before she could finish her sentence. "Hah? what's this?" Mizuki said as she checked her phone. "A video call from...Rui? Hold on for a moment! ...Where do I——" "You can go over there, it's more darker." Kanade pointed to a part of the Sekai. "Ah, right – thanks!"

"Hello? Rui?" Rui's camera was covered by — what Mizuki assumes is — a hand.

"U-Uhm, not Rui..." The hand let go of the camera it was blocking for Mizuki to see...

Len…?

"Len?! How did you manage to get out of Sekai?!" Maybe Mizuki screamed a bit too loud than they intended. They mumbled an apology when they saw Len flinch at the volume of their voice.

Their screaming had also alerted the other three that were at the other end of the Sekai. They heard Ena say something under her breath (supposedly some snarky remark) and turned around to face the others.

"Guys! Len's in the real world! For... some reason." Mizuki said.

"Hah?! How did that happen?"

"Maybe we can get him back in by finding him and playing 'Untitle—"

"No, we can't." Mafuyu cut off Kanade.

"Hm? Why?"

"Because 'Untitled' isn't there anymore."

"What?!" The other three hurriedly checked their phones to see if 'Untitled' was still there or not. Unfortunately, it wasn't.

"Uh — since you're in the real world now, where exactly are you?" Ena questioned as she stood closer to Mizuki to see the screen.

She saw Len looking to the side (supposedly talking to someone?) and look back again. "Pheonix Wonderland..."

"Geez, that's random... I was hoping the answer would also be the answer for the SEKAI problem." Ena said. She heard a small 'sorry' from the other side of the call.

"Oh, so that's how you managed to get Rui's phone. Speaking of Rui, where is he?" Mizuki asked. For some reason Len seemed way more tense after they asked that question. "...We couldn't find him.."

"Why would someone leave their phone in a place like that? And why does Len sound more human now — Wait, did you say 'we'?" Ena asked (questions no one could answer. Well — no one could answer for now.)

"Uh — I meant — couldn't find him...!" Len said. "Nice lie. I can see Luka sleeping at the back." Mafuyu said bluntly.

The group could hear a bunch of annoyed groans and sighs after that. "Alright, alright. No point in hiding now." some girl with greenish-blue hair and streetwear revealed herself from behind the curtains of the stage. And so did all the other people that were hiding. Now that Mizuki sees them, they also seem to be the Virtual Singers, except they look... different. They all have different outfits than usual (except for Len – for some odd reason) and the SEKAI's Miku is definitely not here. Actually — now that they think about it — the green haired girl could possibly be Miku, even if she looks 12000% different.

"Yo, I'm Miku — but not your Miku. I'm from a different SEKAI. So are all of the other Virtual Singers here — except Len, of course." Miku stood infront of the phone's camera while Len had disappeared from the camera's sight.

"Huh? So we aren't the only ones with a SEKAI?" Kanade asked the obvious, just to double check. "Yep, yep! In fact, there's like — four other SEKAIs out there!" another version of Rin took the phone away from Miku. "Woah! So five SEKAIs? Heh, now I'm wondering if anyone I know has a SEKAI." Mizuki thought out loud. "They do! That Miku is from Akito's SEKA—" "Woi – Rin! We weren't supposed to reveal that much!" Miku angrily cut off Rin. "Ah! Sorry!"

"Little bro has a SEKAI too?! Wow, small world we live in." Mizuki chuckled. "Really? That idiot has a SEKAI too?"

"Yeah, yeah, he does. Ugh, now we have to explain so much more because of this!" Miku face-palmed in annoyance. "Hm... Isn't that a good thing...? 'Cus now they will understand... better... Zzz..." Luka said still lying down on the (really uncomfortable looking) ground. ("How does she even manage to sleep like that?" Ena wonders.)

"...Guess you're right..." Miku mumbled. "Since we dont have to hide it anymore — Rui is in his SEKAI. Well — trapped in his SEKAI..." the KAITO variant said, getting closer to the phone that Rin was currently holding. Len seems to trust this KAITO — seeing how he's hiding behind him.

"Huh... So all SEKAI holders are stuck in their own SEKAI... While the Virtual Singers are in the real world?" Kanade stated, though a bit unsure. "No... It seems like only two groups of SEKAI holders are stuck. You guys and the WonderShow kids." KAITO sighed. ("Who the hell are the WonderSho—" Mizuki slapped a hand over Ena's mouth "Not the right time, Enanan. Let the Virtual Singers talk.")

"Actually — should we even be considered as 'Virtual' Singers anymore? I mean — we clearly are human now, breathing and all." Rin said. "Ehh — she's got a point..." MEIKO said. (Mizuki would never say it in her face in fear of MEIKO eating them alive — but her dress... doesn't really fit her vibe. Or — in other words — they just aren't used to MEIKO looking so... at ease. All the Virtual Singers are so different from the ones in their SEKAI... But they guess that's just the impact a person's feelings can make.)

"Hey — stay on track! We need to resolve this problem as soon as possible!" Ena scolded the two Singers. "Yeah... Mafuyu can't be here for that long... her mother is still..." Kanade fell silent just at the thought. Mafuyu stared at the Singers in the phone, blankly.

"Uh... Maybe try...uhm.." Len tugged on KAITO's costume to get his attention. KAITO leaned down as Len whispered into his ear. KAITO gave him a reassuring nod and brought Len closer to the phone. "Well.. You can try to contact the others somehow..."

"How will we do that?" Kanade asked (something that isn't that obvious for once.) "If my information is correct, all SEKAI holders should be highschoolers from either Kamiyama or Miyamasuzaka. So if you have any friends from there — try contacting them." KAITO continued for Len.

"Hm, alright. Thanks." Mafuyu answered before clicking the 'hang up' button on Mizuki's phone. Mizuki let out a small 'hey' but continued to search her contacts for someone to call. "Sinces it's almost 2AM, it's likely that they won't answer if they weren't a Virtual Singer. So I might as well try to call everyone that fits into that category."

After several missed calls the group was given, (only a few, though — they didn't know that many people.) there was a new message coming from the Nightcord group.

______________

K

it isnt k. its miku.

can we call.

video call.

______________

"Eh? But.. Kanade has her phone —" "She could be using my computer then. So that would mean she's at my house." Kanade cut Ena off. Mizuki pressed call in K's DMs.

"Miku! You there?" Mizuki called out. "Yes. Are you doing okay in SEKAI?" Miku asked. "Well — for now — yes, but it won't be long until Mafuyu's mom finds out her daughter has gone missing." Mizuki responded "Also — are you with any of the other Virtual Singers?"

Miku looked around the room ('as if she's checking for anybody that got out of their hiding spots — very specific. I know.' Ena thinks in her head as she fights her inner self about this) and replied "No..."

"You don't need to lie about that anymore. Len's team already exposed that secret."  Ena said.

"Ugh, who is he paired up with to have already exposed themselves so easily?" KAITO said. This time — he was the Empty SEKAIs KAITO ('unfortunately.' is what Mafuyu had probably thought.) Miku had went to check on the other Virtual Singers while KAITO was left with the 'girls' on the Nightcord call ('girls'. yeah. 'girls'.)

"No matter. We tried making plans on how to get you guys out. Len, get out of the closet and give that notebook to me." Miku came back with other-SEKAI MEIKO, Luka and Rin standing behind her. "Roger!" other-SEKAI Len handed her a notebook. (They really need to tell which and what kind of SEKAIs there are. It would be 10x easier to name them if they did.)

"Sorry for using your stuff, Kanade. You don't mind, right?" Miku asked. "No, I dont. You can use anything that you find useful in my house." Kanade said and Miku just responded with a nod.

"Enough of that. Our first plan was to try recreating 'Composing The Future' with Kanade's stuff. Including the choreography, but Miku said that it might not work since our voices are different from yours." KAITO said, looking at the opened notebook Miku was holding. "We want your thoughts on this." Miku continued.

"Hm... Maybe we could record our voices through our phones and send it to the Nightcord group. That includes recording the choreo in the SEKAI." Kanade suggested. "Ugh... Y'know, phone voice recordings aren't the best of quality." Mizuki complained.

"Hey! You won't know if you don't try right?" Len exclaimed too loudly into the mic, making Mizuki flinch this time. (Karma, I guess.)

"Yes, Len's right. We should at least try first." Miku said before focusing on the notebook she held. "So, plan B is... actually... forget it. Let's work on our first plan." strange Ena thought, how bad could plan B be? It seemed like the other Virtual Singers were confused too. Len looked as if he wanted to say something until Luka covered his mouth with her hand.

"...Right. I'll teach you how to use the synth." Kanade responded to Miku. And they all worked on their own things.

______________

4AM. And everyone looks like zombies at this point (even the Virtual Singers, since they aren't really 'Virtual' now.) Ena and Mizuki keep complaining about how hungry they were. Miku got progressively more hunched up in her chair. Len was practically fighting with himself to stay awake while Rin had already fallen asleep.

"Hm... Shouldn't we take a break? You all look like you're gonna die at this point." MEIKO commented.

"We need to get Mafuyu out of the SEKAI as fast as possible. What will we do if she finds out?" Kanade responded. ('she' obviously referring to Ms. Asahina.)

"We can just send her off on vacation." Luka said. Wait — what? "What do you mean send her off on vacation? How would that——" Ena was cut off by Len "..Oh yeahh! There was a discounted airplane ride... in Kanade's... mailbox..."

"Real cheap. And you could choose wherever you want to go." Luka continued for Len. "Okay. Cool. But how would tha—" "Just watch me." Ena was cut off once again by Luka this time. They watch as Luka leaves the room and exits the house. "Can I come...?" "No, Len. You're obviously too tired for that. Go make yourself comfortable and go to sleep." MEIKO said and pushed him (gently) onto Kanade's bed.

"...So, are we just gonna wait for her to come back?" Mizuki questioned. "I guess we are. I won't allow you to work any longer than you already have, take a break." MEIKO responded. "We don't even have food in the SEKAI! How do you expect me to take a break?"

"...You don't? Ah, I didn't think of that. In my SEKAI there's usually an infinite food stock somewhere in there. Though, I'm sure that if you think of food enough, it would spawn in the SEKAI. That trick should work better since it's a SEKAI created by only one person, so only that person needs to think of food." MEIKO explained.

"Hm? I'm not hungry." Mafuyu said.

"Oh come on, Yuki! I am literally dying here!" Mizuki complained. "No, you aren't. Being hungry for a few hours wont make you die of starvation." Mafuyu explained blankly. "Of course the time where only one person needs to think of it they are the only one that doesn't want to think of it..." Ena mumbled to herself, yet still loud enough to earn a giggle from Kanade.

"Ah, I just remembered — there's a few ingredients left in the fridge from Honami's last visit. Maybe you can use something from there to make food." Kanade said to Miku and the others. "Thanks, Kanade." MEIKO responded and went to the kitchen.

After a few moments of the groups 'break', (Ena and Mizuki refuse to call it that because of how hungry they were) Mafuyu had gotten a text message saying:

Mom: You must be asleep right now, but I wanted to tell you that I'm going on a 10 day vacation. You have exams this month, don't you? I'll be going by myself so you can focus on studying. Love you.

"Ah... Luka managed to convince my mother to go on vacation."

"She what—?" Ena — for the third time — gets cut off by the door opening "I'm back! That was tough, I hope you appreciate my efforts." Luka said cheerfully. "Now, don't worry about due dates until ten days later and go to bed."

"Alright, I'll hang up now. Sleep well in the SEKAI." Miku said and the call ended.

________________

"KAITO? Go to sleep, even MEIKO is sleeping." Miku said, joining the Kagamines that were sleeping on the bed. "Later. I'm not a child, you know? You don't need to bother me like that." KAITO replied, still on Kanade's computer.

"Luka made sure we had enough time."

"We can't be so relaxed just because we have ten days, we don't even know if this plan will work or not."

"..."

A blanket was drooped over KAITO.

"What are you doing?"

"Keeping you warm." Miku placed a pillow in KAITO's arms.

"You're so insistent... Fine. I'll sleep." KAITO sighed and went to find a decent place on the floor to sleep on. Miku smiled and went back to the bed.

Chapter Text

"KAITOO... I'm so bored... The plushies have been constantly sleeping ever since we've been trapped.." Emu whined in a call with KAITO and Luka. "Tsukasa is also sleeping! And Rui has been wandering the entire SEKAI from one side all the way to the other!"

"Uhh... We've been trying to find some clues to the deletion of 'Untitled'... though there isn't much we could find in the file the SEKAI is supposed to be." KAITO responded. Emu let a loud groan and resorted to lying down in the grass.

A loud bang could be heard in KAITO's side of the call. "Woah!! KAITO, what was that? Are you okay?" Emu worriedly asked. "Ah... I-It's nothing! Luka, can you take the phone, I'll go check.."

"Hm? What happened over there?" Rui had came back from his mindless wandering. "There was a loud crash over at the WonderStage! It was like — BOOM POW CRACK!" Emu explained to Rui in the only way Emu could.

"I see... What caused the loud crash?" Rui asked. "...Oh... uh... KAITO is investigating that..." Luka said, seemingly unsure of what to say — but maybe it's just Rui's imagination. (it's kind of hard to tell a person's expression when said person is asleep half the time.)

Another loud noise could be heard, this time — it sounded more like a human rather than the destructive crash of the last one.

"Uwah! That voice sounds familiar! Is that Nene?!?" Emu shouted into the microphone. "Hmm... I suppose so..." Luka murmured "Can we talk to her? Please?? " Emu begged her. Emu could hear chatter in the distance ( Maybe it's Nene talking to KAITO!! she thought.)

And she was correct — just — probably not in the way she was thinking.

________________

"AAAAAAA— huh?! How are you all out of the SEKAI? And why are you guys dressed differently?" Nene almost dropped her phone when she saw the virtual singers in WonderStage. "And — who are you?" Nene pointed at a certain twin-tailed girl.

"This is gonna be happening a lot, isn't it?" said girl sighed and proceeded to explain (again. Seriously, if they have to explain one more time — she doesn't think she could handle it.) "I am Miku from a different SEKAI. So are Rin, Len and MEIKO. There are five SEKAIs in total. And because of an error we all are in the real world on your friends are trapped in the SEKAI. Understand?"

"I—"

" Good. " Miku said, not actually caring about her response. "Hey! Nene – was it? Do you still have 'Untitled' on your phone?" MEIKO asked. "Uh... Hold on —" Nene checked her phone "...No..."

"Aw... that's a shame! We could have done something if you did." Rin said. ("Wow. Good to know." Nene muttered under her breath.)

A faint voice could be heard in the corner of Nene's ear, "Can we talk to Nene?! Please, pleaase!!" Nene looked around for the source of the voice — Ah, it came from the phone Luka was holding. "Hey — Luka, do you mind...?" she asked. Luka only responded with a hum and passed the phone (that Nene noted was Rui's phone) to her.

"Nene!! We missed youu! We've been stuck here forever and ever...! " Emu said swaying her body in an exaggerated motion. "I missed practice for a day and you guys got stuck in the SEKAI..." Nene placed an arm on her hip "How did this happen, anyway?"

"Ah, you see..."

________________

"Tsukasa! Rui! Wonderhoy!!" Emu swinged her arms around "Ehh?! Where's Nene?"

"She said that she wouldn't be able to come to practice today." Rui said. "But that doesn't mean we shouldn't laze around. Let's practice just as hard!! HA! HA! HA!" Tsukasa exclaimed in his usual Tsukasa manners. "Yep-yep! Let's do it with super wonderhoy efforts!! HA! HA! HA!" Emu joined Tsukasa and laughed in a loud, boisterous voice.

"I was thinking of going to the SEKAI for today's practice. I left Nene-Robo in the SEKAI, so we can use her for this practice." Rui said. "Good idea! I'll open 'Untitled', you two can hold onto this star!!" Tsukasa played the song on his phone while Emu and Rui held onto him. Rui's phone left on a nearby box.

...For some reason, the music played longer than usual — at least two repeats of the song before they ended up in the SEKAI. (Tsukasa swore he could see a slight glitch when they entered.)

"WONDERHOY!! ...Eh?! Where's Miku and the others?!" Emu asked while aggressively shaking her head (left to right) trying to search for the mentioned singers.

"We should go find them! They're probably playing hide-and-seek. No problem! This star will be able to find them in no time!" Tsukasa said.

20 minutes pass — and Tsukasa's getting increasingly doubtful that they are even in the SEKAI at all — but how could that be? They couldn't have just disappeared!

His phone buzzes — it's... Rui? He decided to answer the call anyway — despite knowing Rui is in the SEKAI with him. "Rui! Why did you—" "Not Rui... Luka... Zzz." a female (and less robotic) voice replied.

“LUKAA?!! How did you — why — HUH?!?” Tsukasa yelled with the decibles of an incoming train. “…Shh… Not so loud…” Luka replied calmly. “Tsukasaaa!! What happened? What happened?!”  Emu ran over to him while dragging Rui by his coat.

“Luka’s outside of the SEKAI!” Tsukasa showed his phone to the others. “Ehh?? Luka!! Are the other Virtual Singers with you?” Emu asked. “Hmm…. Just KAITO… He went to find… something…” Luka said, lazily pointing to the exit of the WonderStage.

“Do you want to practice with us? We’ll exit the SEKAI to—“ Tsukasa checked for ‘Untitled’ on his phone — unfortunately, he couldn’t find it “Huh? Where is it… Emu — can you check your phone for it?” Emu checked her phone as well. “I can’t find it either!”

“Is that so…?” Luka’s face changed slightly (probably in surprise — Rui thought.) “That’s bad, surely it couldn’t have been deleted — could it?”

“Deleted?!” The troupe exclaimed in unison.

“Possibly…” Luka muttered. “Don’t worry, KAITO will come up with a solution — probably… Why don’t we chat in the meantime instead?”

_______________

"That's what happened." Rui concluded.

Nene face palmed mentally. "So what do we do now? You guys are stuck, there's different versions of the Vocaloids now and —"

"Ehh — Different versions? KAITO and Luka never said anything about that! Where are they? I wanna see! I wanna see!" Emu head-butted Rui's chin to get a closer look at the phone. Lots of groans could be heard at the other side of the phone (and one significantly louder than the rest — whoever that person was — was definitely annoyed. Whether that person had greenish-blue hair or streetwear with sneakers is not something that was able to be answered.)

" Why does this keep happening?! Len — you explain it!" Miku yelled, completely unaware of how loud her volume was. "Y-Yes! Okay... So — the SEKAI has — uhm..." "Let me explain!" Rin butted in — saving Len from the horrid thing called communicating.

"There are multiple SEKAIs made from true feelings of singers! The SEKAIs got problems, though. That's how we ended up here!" Rin said, twirling a bit of her hair in her hand.

"Hehe, well — that's certainly a lot to unpack." Rui chuckled before going into deep thought. "Oh! So we need to think of a super duper wonderhoi plan to get out of the SEKAI!" Emu said.

"Exactly! We haven't come up with a plan, though." Rin said. "Hey — whose key is this?" MEIKO dangled a key in her hand. "That's Tsukasa's house key — how could he have left it there?" Rui responded.

"Hmmm... Wah! You can use Tsukasa's key to go into his house! Maybe there's a hidden cluee !!" Emu yelled into the mic (at this point — KAITO wonders how both Luka and Tsukasa are still asleep.)

"Isn't that invading his house, though?" MEIKO asked. "I'm sure Tsukasa won't mind!!" Emu confidently stated (he probably would — but with enough convincing — he'll let it slide. Emu, Nene and Rui know this fact.)

"It's a good idea — I'd rather not sleep on a pile of dusty boxes for another night. We also apparently need to shower now that we're human. Great." Miku unenthusiastically said. "That's a problem," KAITO placed a hand on his chin, trying to think of a solution "we can wash our clothes in the shower... but then it'll be all wet..."

"Just borrow Tsukasa's clothes! Maybe Saki's too if she doesn't mind!" Emu said. "Forget it — we'll think about it later. Follow me, I'll show you the way to his house." Nene made her way to the exit of the backstage.

"We'll see you two another time, then. I'm gonna hang up." Rin hovered her finger over the 'hang up' button "Goodbye!"

"Let's get going. Rin — make sure Luka doesn't get left behind, alright?" KAITO told her "Alright! Luka — come on!" Rin tugged Luka’s arm.

_________________

“Ughh! What now? Tsukasa is still sleeping!!” Emu pouted and turned to the sleeping Tsukasa. “Hmm… he usually isn’t this sleepy, it’s a bit strange. Don’t you think?” Rui said. “Right!? He’s always like ‘Hahaha!! I need eight hours of divine beauty sleep everyday! Always! Everyday!’” Emu put on a deep voice to imitate Tsukasa.

“He’s sleeping like how Luka sleeps! I don’t think someone as loud as him can even wake him up!!” Emu commented. Rui grew even more concerned. “That’s worrying… Emu — do you want to wake him up?” Rui asked. “Okay!!”

Emu walked over to Tsukasa’s sleeping body and screamed “TSUKASAAAAA!!!! WAKE UP!!”

“Eh?! He’s still asleep!” Emu pointed at the ‘still sleeping’ Tsukasa while Rui approached the two. “Hmm, how much sleep did he get today? I don’t remember him being much of a heavy sleeper.”

Suddenly, Tsukasa started shifting in his sleep — Curling into a ball and furrowed his eyebrows (and also muttering something both of them couldn’t hear) “Ah, perhaps he’s having a nightmare?” Rui concluded. “Huh?! Aww, poor Tsukasa!” Emu made a sad expression “Rui — We need to make Tsukasa’s bad dreams go away!”

“And how will we do that?” Rui asked, slightly amused. “Hug him!” Emu demonstrated by lying down next to the sleeping boy and wrapping her arms around him.

Rui smiled slightly “Alright then,” Rui laid down next to Tsukasa as well — wrapping his arms around him too. “like this?” he asked. “Mhm!” Emu hummed. They both laid like that for a while until Rui heard faint snoring. He sat up and saw Emu asleep — still tightly holding onto Tsukasa.

He smiled again and laid back down on the sort of uncomfortable grass — cuddling the two of them like he was doing before.

(He felt Tsukasa shifting again — this time — shifting slightly closer to Rui.)

Chapter Text

The walk to Tsukasa's house was uneventful. "Why couldn't we just take a bus? Rin looks like she's about to pass out — and Luka has already passed out." Miku asked, taking a glance at Rin (who had a sleeping Luka slumped on her shoulders like a drunkard.)

"I... didn't bring any spare change." Nene admitted. MEIKO sighed and took Luka off of Rin and carried the sleeping woman instead. "We're almost there, though. So no use in complaining. Look — that's it." Nene pointed to a big house at the other side of the road.

"Remember to walk on the zebra-crossing." KAITO said. "Of course. Why are you treating us like a bunch of kindergarteners?" Miku questioned. "Well — our SEKAIs has been all we've seen until now. I'm just making sure you all know." KAITO answered. ("Ah, makes sense." Miku said, "I guess.")

They crossed the street and to the front of the house. "Who had the keys again?" Nene looked back to the rest of the group. "Ah, I do — Miku, can you...?" MEIKO reached into her pocket and handed it to Miku. "Yeah, sure."

Miku went to the front door and unlocked it (struggling a bit — considering she hasn't used one of these in her life.) "And — open." Miku smiled to herself proudly (by opening a lock — mind you) and pushed the door open.

Her eyes went wide when she saw what (or — who) were inside.

"WAHH! There's someone trying to rob the Tenma house!!!" a blue haired girl (that sort of looked like a cat...?) squealed loudly. "Stop being so noisy." the Rin inside the house glared at the girl. "But — LOOOK!! They opened the door — what did you do to Tsukasa, hmm?!!"

"Shut up — I didn't do anything to him! Nene's right here, we got permission!" Miku said (technically they got permission from the other troupe members and not Tsukasa himself but — it still counts, right?) "Huh? Oh, Nene!!" the cat-like girl hugged Nene tightly, really tightly.

"Oh? I didn't think we'd encounter each other in the real world. It's nice to see you again, Miku." Luka (from the Street SEKAI. The same one as Miku) came up to her. "Ah, it is good to see you again, Luka." she shook the hand that Luka had given.

"Eh?! So you're a Miku? I'm Miku too!!" the cat girl said. "Uhh, nice..." she replied awkwardly — in all honesty, this version of her scares her.

"Wait — now there's more than one of each Virtual Singer. How are we supposed to differentiate them?" Nene asked. "By looks, of course!" Luka said. "She didn't mean it that way, Luka." Miku said.

"Oh, you mean by name? I'm not sure either." Luka frowned. "How about 'Luka 1' and 'Luka 2'? I'll be Luka 1!" ("Of course you wanna be Luka 1..." Miku mumbled. Was Luka just suggesting this to boost her own ego? Probably.)

"Ooh! Ooh! What if we gave eachother super WONDERHOY nicknames?" the blue haired Miku exclaimed. ("Wonderhoy...?" Street SEKAI Miku mumbled before realising that that wasn't the thing she should focus on now) "That'd be a great idea!" School SEKAI Rin said.

"I don't know if I can come up with a nickname. Let alone a decent one..." Stage SEKAI MEIKO chuckled. "That's okay! We can at least try." KAITO said. "Yeah!" Rin agreed.

"Mhm, but you should probably think about taking off your shoes and stepping inside first." Street SEKAI Luka said. "You can't stand outside forever, can you?"

_______________

"Hey, LenLen! Do you still have your sketchpad with you? Last thing I remember before we ended up in the real world was that you were drawing." School SEKAI Rin elbowed Len at the arm. "I'm pretty sure it's still in the SEKAI. And — I already told you to not call me that..."

"Well, we need nicknames to differentiate ourselves since there's now multiple of us. LenLen is the first thing that came up in my mind! We could even match! I'll be RinRin and you could be LenLen! The rest of the band could also have something like that too! Like 'MikuMiku' and 'MeikoMeiko'. How about that?" Rin replied.

"I guess that makes sense... We can tell the others about the nicknames later." Len said.

"It feels weird using this place as if it's our own." Stage SEKAI MEIKO said, hesitantly sitting down on a couch. "Mhm, but it is what it is — isn't it?" School SEKAI MEIKO replied "It also feels a bit strange talking to my own self like this."

"...Hey, are we just gonna sit here and do nothing?" Empty SEKAI Rin asked. "Yeah, are we just gonna sit here and do nothing?" Street SEKAI Miku repeated what Rin had just said. "Hey — there's always time to relax for a while. You all just arrived here a few minutes ago!" Street SEKAI Luka elbowed Miku's shoulder.

"We arrived thirty minutes ago. That isn't really a 'few minutes'." Wonderland SEKAI KAITO pointed out. "Same thing!" Luka exclaimed.

"Actually — did you guys find a phone here?" Stage SEKAI MEIKO asked. "Yep! Saki's phone. Why do you ask?" Stage SEKAI KAITO responded. "We spawned near Rui's phone. So we probably got transported from their phones."

"You got here on Friday too, right?" Street SEKAI Miku asked. "No, we... spawned... here at ten in the morning." Empty SEKAI Rin replied.

"So the time is different then? But this was caused by the SEKAI files getting deleted — how would that happen?" School SEKAI Len questioned. "What if someone deleted it on purpose?!" Wonderland SEKAI Miku suggested. "What motive would they have, though? There isn't any reason for someone to just... delete them." he replied.

"Also, since the SEKAIs were deleted at different times — how did we all get jumbled up?" Street SEKAI Miku asked. "Ugh! We're just finding more questions than answers!" School SEKAI Rin slumped on the couch in frustration.

"These are some good questions, though! We should write them down — anyone got paper?" Street SEKAI Luka looked around for something to write down on (and so did everyone else.)

"WAAAIIIT —" Wonderland SEKAI Miku yelled at the top of her lungs and ran upstairs. "We're gonna get a noise complaint sooner or later..." School SEKAI MEIKO deadpanned. "It's the Tenma household... noise complaints aren't uncommon for them..." Wonderland Luka said.

"BAM! I got Tsukasa's notebook~!" Miku dangled the book in one of her hand and clicked a pen in the other, "And this thing too!"

"Great... KAITO, can you write it down...?" Wonderland SEKAI Luka nudged said man weakly. "Ah, right... Miku, can you give that to me?" Miku handed both stationaries to him.

After they recollected all the questions they had brought up. The sheet of paper had been filled halfway through with neat handwriting.

"Alright, now we have a starting point. So, which one looks the easie—" Nene was cut off by a sudden knock on the door.

"Hello, Tsukasa! I'm back!" Saki turned the keys and opened the door with a cheery smile. "Tsukasa—?" her smile dropped after looking around and seeing the Virtual Singers (and Nene) gathered together on the couch.

Saki looked as if she was about to scream before quickly calming down (as calm as she could get). "Ahah... Nene, who are they — and where's Tsukasa?" she asked nervously.

"No need to hide it, silly! Nene already knows other people can have SEKAIs!" School SEKAI Rin said. "Yeah... Wait — you also have a SEKAI?" Nene questioned.

"You have one too?!"

"So you do have a SEKAI. I have one too — but it was created with Tsukasa's feelings." Nene said. "Oh! Big bro managed to create a SEKAI all by himself?! I thought SEKAI's were supposed to be made with strongest feelings imaginable." Saki responded.

"Exactly! Tsukasa's awesome feelings were soo incredible that a SEKAI poofed into existence!" Wonderland SEKAI Miku spun around while explaining in her childlike manner (and almost hitting Wonderland SEKAI KAITO in the face.)

"Woah! That's amazing!" Saki exclaimed. "Right. No need to drag Tsukasa's ego way further." Nene said, despite Tsukasa not even being in the room to hear praises.

"Wait! How did this all happen? Like — how did the Vocaloids come to life?" Saki asked. "We actually don't know how we became... real... —But an error happened with the SEKAIs and now we’re here." School SEKAI MEIKO said. "I have a feeling we're going to repeat that sentence a lot now..." School SEKAI Rin sighed.

“Uh, I have another question. How am I supposed to… refer to you guys?” Saki asked. “There’s two of each virtual singer now!”

“We were thinking of nicknames for each of us! Len and I can be called ‘RinRin’ and ‘LenLen’!” School SEKAI Rin exclaimed. “Ugh — the more you say it, the stupider it sounds.” School SEKAI Len (or, ‘LenLen’) mumbled.

School SEKAI MEIKO chuckled, “C’mere Saki, I’ll fill you in on a few more details.” “Alright!” Saki agreed and walked over to the woman.

“Ooh! So this is like those detective mangas I’ve read!” Saki exclaimed after listening to School SEKAI MEIKO. “I guess it is.” Empty SEKAI Rin chimed in, “Though, you shouldn’t try to pull those weird detective investigations from them. Mizuki tried that once — ended horribly.”

Wonderland SEKAI Miku barked out a laugh. “I-It didn’t end that badly…” Empty SEKAI Len mumbled. “Ena threw paint on them. The whole bucket.” Empty SEKAI Rin continued. School SEKAI Len started chuckling. “At least it didn’t land in their hair…?” Empty SEKAI Len responded.
