Rin and Len sat on the sofa watching tv. The sun was about to set soon and they were expecting a guest soon, it was Una. MEIKO would be dropping her off as the other vocaloids were too busy to take care of her while MEIKO was out of town. A knock sounded from the door. Rin got up from the sofa, walked over to the door, and opened it. There stood MEIKO with Una.
“Hey MEIKO, hey Una!” Rin greeted.
“Hi Rin!” Una responded, MEIKO waved at her.
“Thanks for caring for Una while KAITO and I go on tour- are you sure you’ll be able to handle her? She can be a bit of a handful at times…”
Len had gotten up from the sofa and had gone over to the group. “No worries MEIKO, we can handle an 11 year old.”
Len said confidently. MEIKO nodded. Una entered the house and waved to MEIKO.
“Goodbye Ms. MEIKO, I’ll see you soon!” MEIKO smiled at Una and waved back. “Bye Una, and Len, don’t swear too much okay?”
Len laughed awkwardly. “Hahaha, very funny MEIKO. We’ll see you tomorrow.”
They said their goodbyes and Rin, Len, and Una went farther into the house.
Una was watching some cartoon on the tv. She seemed to have no thoughts, her head was empty. Rin and Len looked at her with hesitation.
“Should we say something?” Len whispered.
“I don’t know…”. Rin responded.
Suddenly Una seemed to snap out of it. She looked at the two.
“Let’s play a game!” She said with sudden excitement.
“O…oh- okay! What do you want to play?” Asked Rin.
Una thought for a moment, “Let’s play hide and seek!” She exclaimed.
“I’ll hide and you two will find me!”
The twins looked at each other. Len looked to Una again.
“Oh- alright. Don’t you think it’d be a bit difficult for you if two of us are seeking though?”
Una shook her head aggressively. “I’m really good at hiding! You couldn’t find me even with… 57 people!” Una looked at Len with fiery confidence.
Len began to feel competitive. “I’ll bet you I can! I’ll bet you.. RIN’S PS5 I CAN!”
Rin looked at Len with sudden anger. “YOU AREN’T BETTING MY PS5 OVER A GAME OF HIDE AND SEEK ARE YOU?!” She exclaimed.
Len realized what he had just said. “Well- duh… uhhhh I’m sure I’ll win!”
Rin looked at Len, unimpressed. “If we lose I’ll kick your a-“ Rin realized something, Una was missing!
Len sighed. “I’m sure she just went and hid while we were arguing. Come on, let's go find her.”
Rin and Len looked everywhere around the house, Una was nowhere to be found.
“Do you think she left the house?” Rin said with worry.
“How could she have left? You locked the house do-“
suddenly a shrill scream echoed through the house. Rin and Len ran up the stairs to the second floor and opened the door where the scream was coming from. Una looked towards a strange figure terrified. Una ran over to the two and hid behind Rin. The window was open and the curtains billowed because of the evening wind. Rin turned on the lights to see…
“Fukase.” Len said with a tinge of anger.
“What. The ACTUAL FUCK.”
Fukase looked at Len. “I wanted pop tarts.”
The twins looked at each other. “???????”
Fukase walked out of the room and down the stairs, presumably to the kitchen. Una was trembling.
“Who was that…?” She said.
Len sighed. “That’s Fuckase or as I like to call him Fucka-“
Rin smacked him over the head. “Don’t swear in front of her!”
Len looked at Rin angrily. “You were gonna do it earlier!”
Rin didn’t seem to know what to say. “UGHHH whatever! Let’s go see what Fukase is doing-“
The three went down the stairs. Fukase was microwaving a s’more pop tart. Una clung to Rin’s arm tightly.
Rin sighed. “You can’t be here.”
“Leave now.” Len said bluntly.
Fukase looked at them, he had turned on the microwave.
“No.” Fukase responded.
“No?” Rin said.
at least 5 seconds passed. No one said anything, the only sound was the microwave cooking the s’more pop tart.
“Who says you can kick me out?” Fukase asked.
Len’s eye twitched. “I OWN THIS HOUSE?!???”
“So?” Fukase said.
Len began to shout multiple profanities at Fukase, though Fukase seemed to be having fun making Len mad. Rin covered Una’s ears.
“Oookay… Una- why don’t we go back to the living room and play some board games? We recently got clue!”
Una nodded. “I'd rather be anywhere else than here-“
Rin and Una left the kitchen, after some moments they had finished setting up the game. Len was still audibly shouting at Fukase, though it was muffled.
“Hm- we need more players. I’ll go get Len and… Fukase, you stay here okay?”
Una nodded. “Okay!”
Rin went back into the Kitchen. Right when she arrived Len stopped his yelling.
“AND THAT'S WHY YOUR POPTART DEPRAVED ASS CANNOT BE HERE.” Len finished.
“Lmao” Fukase said.
Len looked at Fukase with defeated anger. Rin wondered if she should say something.
“Uh, do you two wanna play Clue with me and Una?”
“Yes.”
“No.”
Fukase and Len responded in unison.
The group were sitting around the game of Clue. Rin had somehow managed to get the boys to stop fighting and actually play. Una rolled a die.
“Three!” She exclaimed. She moved her pawn 3 spaces and into the conservatory. “I think mr. Dead guy was killed in the conservatory… with a gun!”
Una picked up the little gun figure and put it in the room. Len looked like he was just about to fall asleep.
“Hm, maybe we should wrap things up and go to sleep?” Rin suggested.
Len got up and yawned. “Finally!” He said.
Rin got up too, “Let’s go set up the guest room Len. Fukase, please do not cause any trouble-“
The twins went up to the guest room. They muttered a few things to each other before entering the guest room.
Fukase and Una sat awkwardly across from each other.
“Soooo wanna commit a crime?” Fukase asked while pulling out a lighter from his coat pocket.
Len and Rin had just finished setting up the guest room when they suddenly smelled something burning. That… and the smoke alarm had started beeping. They ran out of the room to see the living room on fire. Fukase and. Una were nowhere to be found.
“We gotta get out of the house!” Rin yelped.
“WELL NO SHIT SHERLOCK” Said Len in a panickedly angry tone.
The two ran outside to see Fukase and Una already safely outside.
“WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!” Len exclaimed to the two.
“We may or may not have set fire to the living room.” Fukase said smiling
Len was speechless.
“You what?!” Rin yelled.
“I’m sorry!” Una exclaimed.
Rin sighed. “You’re just a child, Fukase however- You know better- WHY THE HELL DID YOU SET OUR HOUSE ON FIRE?!”
Fukase shrugged. “I was bored.”
Len looked at the house,
“The fire’s getting bigger-“ He said. His voice shown defeat. He sighed. “Let’s just go see if Miku is home….”
“Agreed” the others said in unison.
