Chapter Text
With How much time Hudson doesn't have on his plate, going back to a monster infected school sure is fun. Hudson's back can be seen in a dark hallway. Paper and books scattered across the floor, lockers torn and beat up along the wall.
"That should do it." Said the boy, peeking his head out of what looks to be a fuse box. Hudson's face had black spots of what looked to be oil on his cheeks, not covering the light freckles on his caramel colored skin.
A loud noise of a gate opening could be heard near Hudson, and stairs leading to the next floor behind it. "Finally it took me a while but now I can go up to the roof." Hudson said exhausted by how much time it took.
The boy wanted to make it up there quickly before anything could locate where the sound came from. Unfortunately for him a raging roar was heard coming from a classroom close to him, and Hudson knew that exact roar was like the back of his hand and didn't want to face it again so soon.
"You know what, I think the roof can wait another day." Hudson jokingly exclaimed as he started running away back to the entrance of the school. Many other monsters can be heard but Hudson tuned them out, continuing his retreat.
The tired boy made it out free and unscathed. Still hearing the calls of monsters inside the school. Hudson sighed now walking back to a place that was actually nice.
A few moments of walking and Hudson made it to a train station, sitting down waiting for the train to come. As he was waiting Hudson took this time to take out a notepad from his back pocket. In it were a few notes he made while exploring the school like objectives, monsters, and of course it .
Soon Hudson could hear a familiar bell of a streetcar coming towards him. Once the streetcar stopped and opened its doors, the young boy stood up getting on it. The inside of the streetcar had a cozy yet old timer feeling like it was from 1925.
Hudson sat down in one of the many empty seats looking around to see if someone would pop up but surprisingly no one did. “Next stop. The Hub Station.” said a female voice over the intercom. As the streetcar started moving Hudson looked back at his notepad crossing off,
Find a way to reach the roof.
And writing under it,
Explore the roof.
"Have you made any progress yet Hudson?" The boy in question jumped almost dropping the notepad. He looked up to see the familiar face of Kagamine Len in front of him.
"Geez Len why whenever I expect you to pop up you wait until I'm not to do that? Actually, why don't you just greet me normally like Miku!" Hudson ranted to the blonde boy who was now sitting next to him.
"Oh come on I thought you liked the way I say hi." Len jokingly responded. Len had a train conductor hat with his hair in his standard ponytail. He was also wearing a black train conductor suit with a yellow long tie, as well as black shorts and black shoes.
“Well news to you I don’t, as to answer your question I was able to find a way to the roof today.” Hudson answered, crossing his arms facing away from the Blonde. “Really, that’s wonderful I’m sure you’re one step closer to finding out what happened to that place.” Len praised Hudson’s work, trying to make the black haired boy not be mad at him.
The streetcar stopped meaning he made it back to the Hub. The doors opened and Hudson stood up and started to get off the streetcar, before being stopped by a familiar voice. “Wait, Hudson, this is important.” The boy in question turned around to see that it was Hatsune Miku.
Miku was mostly wearing the same thing as Len except had a red skirt on with heels, there were also cherry blossom leaves in her hair. “Next time you go to that place don’t stay for very long. You already told us your starting school in the morning and would you look at that it’s 3am.” She said, pulling out her pocket watch to show Hudson.
“Don’t worry Miku, I'll be fine.” Hudson responded nonchalantly, walking backwards away from the streetcar, “I won’t stay at that school after 10pm, anyway I should get some zzz. Oh and Len, I forgive you for now.” He said glaring at the Blonde who simply waved at him. “Ok then Hudson see you next time, and try not to be late for your first day.” Miku said, waving at him.
Hudson waved back at them as he was transported back to his room. Hudson’s room was dark and silent, seeing as everyone in the house was asleep. The boy yawned as he made his way to the bathroom, where he washed the oil off his face and brushed his teeth. Returning back to his room Hudson changed into his Pajamas, climbing into bed.
Before the boy could sleep his mind was racing through thoughts, he was going to start going to Kamiyama High School tomorrow and being up this late won’t help. As Hudson drifted into sleep he could see
its
face the same sincere eyes
it
has, the red nose and party hat, but especially the roar
it
makes when
it's
chasing him.
