Stellaris Paragons

Summary:

Paragons: Leaders from any species that are Renowned or Legendary as exemplars of their ethic; they are driving forces within the civilization they serve, their skills and talents leading it forward. A collection of oneshots featuring characters from my favorite fandoms as Renowned or Legendary Paragons in Stellaris.

ANNCOUNEMENT: There are a ton of fandoms and characters out there that I don't know about. If you think one of your favorite characters could be a Stellaris Paragon, feel free to suggest them in the comments using the format I do for the profiles. I will post them in new chapters and be sure to give credit to whoever suggested them.

Notes:

Hello there! I was recently inspired by the new Stellaris Paragons DLC. It's hard to write Stellaris fanfiction, as you're not dealing with characters you can relate to or imagine, but faceless civilizations. With Paragons, you finally have Leaders with real personality that you can work with in writing.

This new project is similar to my earlier oneshot series, The Arkham Investigators, where I reimagined my favorite characters as investigators in the Arkham Horror/Elder Sign games. Here, I will be doing the same, except the characters will be Renowned or Legendary Paragons, special Leaders in the interstellar setting of Stellaris.

My first Paragon is Uzi Doorman, the main character from my current favorite show on YouTube, "Murder Drones" (which I very much recommend). For this, Uzi escaped from Copper-9, but was unable to go to Earth to begin wiping out JCJenson and/or Humanity. Thus, she begins looking for other benefactors among the stars to fund her research, and to sate her thirst for revenge (and oil or blood).

Re-edited as of 5/19/2023

Re-edited as of 5/21/2023. Added Expertise: Psionics at the suggestion of Auroras_Archive

Re-edited as of 5/25/2024: Edited to reflect updates on Leaders and their Traits, and also the new lore and canon of Murder Drones. Changed Veteran Class from Researcher to Statistician. Changed Maniacal to Hyper Focus. Added Traumatized to Negative Traits.

Re-edited as 2/25/2025: Deleted Machine trait, and corrected Expertise: Psionics to Expertise: Particles

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Uzi Doorman (Murder Drones)

Summary:

Re-edited as of 5/26/2024: If N dies, Uzi gained the Negative Traits Volatile and Recluse, traits we can see in show, especially in the ending of Episode 2.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Uzi Doorman (Murder Drones)

Class: Scientist

Veteran Class: Statistician (Once free of Copper-9 and the Absolute Solver, Uzi would be free to unleash her ideas upon the galaxy!)

Destiny Trait: Great Researcher (Her intelligence, energy, and psychic abilities have made Uzi into a researcher above par)

Positive Traits: Spark of Genius (“Uzi Doorman was able to build this (sick-as-hell railgun) in a bunker! With a box of scraps!”), Hyper Focus (Uzi can focus on her goals like a laser), Expertise: Particles (Extensive designing and modification of her "railgun" has made Uzi an expert in Particles), Psychic (Absolute Solver)

Negative Traits: Traumatized (due to her experiences in fighting the Absolute Solver, Uzi is deeply traumatized; also gains Volatile and Recluse if N dies)

Ethic: Materialist (Uzi knows that to create something, you need to know how to build it, and have the components for it)

Age: 18

Summary: A unique worker drone who has somehow acquired psychic abilities. The survivor of a doomed planet, CPU buzzing with both genius and madness, she hides a strange, dark, and traumatizing past. She and N are a package deal.

Notes:

Now, I know it's short, but I'm using a similar format to what we see in Stellaris when the opportunity to recruit a Renowned Paragon comes around. Thoughts?

I hope this sparks your imagination, and I look forward to continuing with more characters. Have a good one, everyone, and happy writing!

Chapter 2: James Ironwood (RWBY)

Notes:

In my opinion, one of the most interesting and compelling characters in the show RWBY is General James Ironwood. He starts out as one of the good guys, but as things get more dire in the show, he takes more and more drastic measures, becoming a tyrant in the process. Personally, I think that RoosterTeeth could have done a better job with making him a grey character in a world of heroes and villains instead of turning him into an outright villain, but that's just me. For this story, after we last see him in the show, Ironwood is rescued by aliens observing Remnant before the flood waters engulfing Atlas reach him.

Re-edited as of 5/19/2023

Re-edited as of 5/25/2024. Changed Class from General to Commander. Changed Veteran Class from Protector to Commissioner. Replaced Spycraft with Defense Engineer. Bumped Politician trait up. Changed Ethic from Militarist to Materialist.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: James Ironwood (RWBY)

Class: Commander

Veteran Class: Commissioner (While his title is “General”, Ironwood is more adept at the bureaucratic side of military matters)

Destiny Trait: Academic Recruiter (As the former Headmaster of Atlas Academy, Ironwood inspires students to enlist after graduation)

Positive Traits: Cyborg, Defense Engineer (Ironwood ensured that Atlas’ shelters were bomb proof, Grimm proof, and anything proof), Politician II (He held two seats on the Atlesian Council)

Negative Trait: Melancholic (His past mistakes and broken friendships back on Remnant make him sorrowful and nostalgic)

Ethic: Materialist (As a native-born son of Atlas, Ironwood has always seen the value in science and technology)

Age: 52

Summary: Rescued from a pre-FTL society on the brink of collapse, this general is at home on the battlefield or in the boardroom. However, his past mistakes continue to haunt him.

Notes:

Thoughts? If Ironwood were to survive the events of Volume 8, I think that he would definitely regret his actions.

Chapter 3: Serial Designation N (Murder Drones)

Notes:

I was planning on doing a profile for Serial Designation N of Murder Drones, but then Auroras_Archive was kind enough to create one in a comment. This profile here is a little different from what they suggested, mostly because the new Leader update and DLC changed things up a bit. They had "Restrained" down as one of N's traits, and I agree with that, but that trait has been deleted from Stellaris. I replaced it with "Glory Seeker", not because N would seek glory, but because he'd definitely put himself in the thick of it to protect others.

Edit as of 5/26/2024: Corrected Class from General to Commander, corrected Veteran Class from Protector to General, replaced Charismatic with Enlister, and bumped Butcher up to Butcher II.

Edit as of 2/25/2025: Deleted Machine trait

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Serial Designation N

Class: Commander

Veteran Class: General (N is designed for combat, plus once he gets his confidence up and going, he’d make a good leader)

Destiny Trait: Supreme Warrior (Arguably the strongest Disassembly Drone we've seen, being able to restrain V, hold his own against Eldritch J, and fight Solver Uzi twice; he fights alongside his troops to keep up their morale and because he can afford to take the damage)

Positive Traits: Enlister (who wouldn’t want to fight to the bitter end for him?), Butcher II (There is a reason he’s called a “Murder Drone” after all), Eagerness (he likes doing anything)

Negative Trait: None (Gains Melancholic and Incoherence if Uzi dies)

Ethic: Xenophile (He'll definitely want to befriend everyone, regardless of their species)

Age: 19

Summary: A unique combat drone with a penchant for seeking friends. A rebel who fought against both his programming and masters, his friendly and welcoming attitude masks his incredible prowess and strength. He and Uzi are a package deal.

Notes:

Thoughts? Both I and Auroras_Archive couldn't come up with a Negative Trait for N. I considered "Gullible" until I remembered that N didn't listen to V's pleas to let her loose in episode 3, "The Promening". Then I considered "Passive" until I remembered that N stood up to V in episode 4, "Cabin Fever".

What Negative Leader Trait do you think N has, if any? At this point, I'm willing to say that he doesn't have one, but I'd like opinions.

Edit as of 5/26/2024: I think that if Uzi was permanently killed, N would react like he did at the end of Episode 2 and the beginning of Episode 3, becoming Melancholic, and also incoherent at times.

Chapter 4: Serial Designation V (Murder Drones)

Notes:

I'm on a bit of a Murder Drones kick with this fic. Not really surprising, as I was attempting to write a Murder Drones/Stellaris fanfic when I came up with the idea for this. I should try and get back on that sometime.

After N and Uzi escaped from Copper-9 (with some of their friends of course), V left them to go her own way. As the complete opposite of N when it comes to dealing with Uzi and the AbsoluteSolver, V would become his antithesis outside Copper-9; he is a protector, she would become an aggressor.

Auroras_Archive came up with a profile for V in N's comment section, and it was almost identical to the one I had come up with. Their differences included V's Destiny Trait being "Fortress Cracker" (which I originally considered as well), adding "Glory Seeker" to the Positive Traits (which I did after seeing that), and having V's ethic being Militarist. Also, I liked their summary for V better than my original one.

Edit as of 5/26/2024: Corrected Class from General to Commander, corrected Veteran Class from Invader to General, replaced Glory Seeker with Heavy Hitter, bumped Butcher up to Butcher II, and corrected Disrespectful to Indifference.

Edit as of 2/25/2025: Deleted Machine trait

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Serial Designation V

Class: Commander

Veteran Class: General (She loves killing, therefore ground combat in the field is her specialty)

Destiny Trait: Plundering Warlord (V enjoys taking resources (such as oil) from her conquests)

Positive Traits: Butcher II (She'll tear the enemy a new hole, even at the expense of her own; plus, she’s a Murder Drone), Heavy Hitter (She relishes in the carnage, and will never let an opportunity pass to inflict damage on the enemy), Dreaded (She'll definitely be feared for her brutality and insane tactics in battle; also she likes to make art from the bodies of her slain enemies)

Negative Trait: Indifference (She definitely won't give two shits if her army is suffering a lot of collateral)

Ethic: Xenophobe (She fears the unknown and the strange, seeing them as enemies to be killed)

Age: 19

Summary: An advanced combat drone that was tasked to destroy all remaining AI on a frozen planet. Bloodlust flows in her system and she would stop at nothing to fulfill her desires. However, she is no mere killing machine as shown in her displays of emotion and intellect.

Notes:

Picture this: N standing at the head of his army, species of every kind as its soldiers. Opposite them is an invading army of Drones, each made in the image of JCJenson's Disassembly Drones, with V leading them. He has defended planet after planet from invaders, saving the lives of many civilians and of his soldiers. She, on the other hand, has conquered planet after planet, plundering them each and slaughtering their inhabitants as she expended her troops as one does ammunition. At one time, N and V were friends, almost lovers, but time, circumstance, and choice has left them as bitter enemies. Somehow, V survived sacrificing herself to the Sentinels to save himself, Uzi, and Tessa, but they fight for different sides now. The final battle between Serial Designations N and V ends tonight.

Thoughts?

Edit as of 5/26/2024: Changed a few things to better reflect on Murder Drones canon.

Chapter 5: Caitlyn Kiramman (Arcane/League of Legends)

Notes:

When I started Stellaris Paragons, I figured that most of my characters are going to be either Generals or Scientists - it's a bit of a challenge to find characters who would make good Governors or Admirals, both of which are jobs that aren't as well-represented in fiction as generals or scientists. That's probably going to be true, but inspiraiton can strike anyway.

For those who know the lore of "League of Legends", Caitlyn Kiramman's fight to keep Piltover and the undercity, the latter destined to become "Zaun", will ultimately be futile in the world of "Arcane". The world of "Runeterra" is a very diverse planet, one that would be very interesting to find in Stellaris. If things were to go really south for Piltover, Caitlyn and her loved ones could find a new home somewhere in the stars...

Edit as of 5/30/2024: Corrected Class to Official, changed Veteran Class from Visionary to Industrialist, changed Destiny Trait from Galvanizer to Utopian Idealist, bumped Righteous up to Righteous II, deleted Reformer and added Principled and Industrial Focused.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Caityln Kiramman

Class: Official

Veteran Class: Industrialist (Thanks to her mother’s role as an Councilwoman in Piltover, Caitlyn knows the ins and outs of economics and how they affect society for better or for worse)

Destiny Trait: Utopian Idealist (Caitlyn is an idealist and has never stopped striving to build a better society)

Positive Traits: Righteous II (Caitlyn has always had a strong sense of justice, before, during, and after her tenure as Sheriff of Piltover), Principled (Caitlyn’s moral compass is strong, holding herself and others accountable for their actions), Industrial Focused (Through painful experience, Caitlyn has learned how to settle labor disputes fairly, which enhances production)

Negative Trait: Lavish Lifestyle (Caitlyn was born into luxury and enjoys the finer things of life)

Ethic: Egalitarian (Caitlyn wishes to see equality amongst all, no matter where they started in life)

Age: 40

Summary: The child of a councilor from a newly discovered pre-FTL planet, she was forced to watch as the society she grew up in was up-ended due to inequality, strife, and corruption. Despite failing to prevent the splintering of her city, she has never given up her fight, and has taken it far beyond the boundaries of her homeworld.

Notes:

I think that Caitlyn would find it ironic that she would wind up getting the same job as her mother, just on a much bigger scale (and I think she'd do a better job at it than the Councilors of Piltover). Thoughts?

Edit as of 5/30/2024: I'm feeling a little iffy about changing Caitlyn to be a Planet or Sector Governor as opposed to a Councilor, but the traits feel right for her.

Chapter 6: James "Jim" Hawkins (Treasure Planet)

Notes:

One scenario I like for the world of Treasure Planet is a typical interstellar empire (aka, one whose ships aren't classical wooden sailing vessels that have somehow been made to be spaceworthy) coming across the "Terran Empire" (that's the name of the empire that Amelia and Jim, as taken from the game, "Battle at Procyon", serve). Imagine what an invasion from a Stellaris empire, equipped with larger vessels made completely of metal, would look like to the ships that Amelia commands? It would be bad and, providing that Jim survives the fall of the Terran Empire, he would be looking for a new empire to serve.

Edit as of 5/30/2024: Corrected Class from Admiral to Commander, corrected Veteran Class from Tactician to Admiral, changed Artillery Focus to Archaeotech Focus, and bumped Jury-Rigger up to Jury-Rigger II

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: James “Jim” Hawkins

Class: Commander

Veteran Class: Admiral (Jim Hawkins’ ability as a spacer has allowed him to rapidly climb the ladder of Naval ranks)

Destiny Trait: Guerilla Tactician (Jim has faced off against far greater and more numerous opponents, such as the pirates)

Positive Traits: Archaeotech Focus (Jim’s experience with the map of Treasure Planet has allowed him to understand of the workings of ancient technology and how best to use them), Engineer (Jim is a natural with technology), Jury-Rigger II (Jim has no problem with using salvaged materials and improvisation to create solutions, such as the solar surfer made from a plasma cannon)

Negative Trait: Reckless (Jim is the very definition of this trait)

Ethic: Xenophile (Jim loves being in space and exploring the cosmos)

Age: 30

Summary: An admiral whose empire fell due to invasion by a technologically-superior foe. Despite losing everything, this admiral is willing to learn and adapt to an expanded galaxy and new technology.

Notes:

Thoughts? I haven't played Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon, but maybe I'll find and watch a cutscenes movie of it in the future.

One theory that I have for how the ships in Treasure Planet are able to work is that their artificial gravity generators are somehow able to ensnare atmosphere from the ports they dock at, thus allowing for the crew to function as they would onboard a traditional maritime sailing vessels. Aesthetically cool, and also speaks to a technological development that most civilizations don't come up with, but in the face of a navy of much larger vessels, all made completely of metallic alloys, it wouldn't be able to stand against them.

Chapter 7: Ahsoka Tano (Star War: The Clone War)

Notes:

Following the end of season five of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, there was a ton of speculation about what happened to Ahsoka Tano. In fact, typing that question into a search engine is what originally lead me to FanFiction and to fanfiction itself!

We now know Ahsoka's adventures and fate after leaving the Jedi Order, but what if things went differently? What if instead of staying in the Galaxy Far, Far Away and trying to put together a Rebellion, Ahsoka instead chose to flee her galaxy and take her chances in another one, far away from the Empire? What if she became a Paragon in another galaxy?

Edit as of 5/30/2024: Corrected Class from General to Commander, changed Veteran Class from Invader to General, deleted Glory Seeker and added Heavy Hitter II and Interrogator.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Ahsoka Tano

Class: Commander

Veteran Class: General (Ahsoka has great experience with planetary combat operations)

Destiny Trait: Fortress Cracker (She knows a thing or two about disabling heavy defenses)

Positive Traits: Adventurous Spirit (Ahsoka prefers decisive action to politics and talk), Crusader (She has fought the likes of General Grievous and other dangerous foes, and either survived or won), Heavy Hitter II (Fighting in the frontlines has always been her forte), Interrogator (she has experience in making hard nuts crack), Psychic (Former Jedi)

Negative Trait: Stubborn (She has a tendency to stand firm in her actions and beliefs to her own detriment)

Ethic: Spiritualist (The Jedi were essentially a religious order)

Age: 18

Summary: A refugee from a neighboring galaxy whose religious order was nearly exterminated, she not only brings combat and leadership experience to the table, but also psionic abilities as well. After having seen her galaxy fall to tyranny, she will not stop until all shackles are broken and all tyrants brought down.

Notes:

Thoughts? Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars universe, and I'm glad to have come up with a Paragon profile for her. I think that an alternate ethic and destiny trait for Ahsoka would be "Xenophile" and "Chainbreaker", respectively. Do you think these would fit her better?

Also, please feel free to suggest other explanations for my reasons for the traits and also for the summary. I don't really feel quite satisfied with the wording, like it's not really complete or something. For example, Auroras_Archive on AO3 suggested most of the trait explanations and also the summaries for Serial Designations N and V, and I liked them much better than what I originally had.

Chapter 8: Garrus Vakarian (Mass Effect Trilogy)

Notes:

And here's the first Paragon from the Mass Effect universe, Garrus Vakarian! In the dossier that the Shadow Broker has on Garrus, here's a little something that stuck with me: "Leadership potential overshadowed by Shepard. Unlikely to fully develop under Shepard's command."

I like the idea after the Reapers are defeated, Garrus is able to fully develop his leadership potential, becoming a second Shepard in the post-Reaper era. Whichever of the three endings you choose, you can be sure that Shepard isn't going to available in their old role as a squad leader. That'll be Garrus' time to shine.

Edit as of 5/30/2024: Corrected Class from General to Commander, changed Veteran Class from Invader to General, and added Heavy Hitter II.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Garrus Vakarian

Class: Commander

Veteran Class: General (As a soldier and leader, Garrus is well on his way to becoming a General)

Destiny Trait: Supreme Warrior (Garrus is an amazing soldier and his marksmanship skills are almost second to none)

Positive Traits: Heavy Hitter II (As a sniper with armor-piercing rounds, Garrus has no problem hitting his opponents with maximum force), Interrogator (As a former Citadel Security officer, Garrus has extensive knowledge on interrogation techniques), Resilient (As a former soldier, C-Sec officer, vigilante, and commander, Garrus is in excellent physical condition), Eager (Garrus has a lot of initiative and drive)

Negative Trait: Stubborn (Turians tend to be stubborn, and this is one of the Turian traits that Garrus holds to)

Ethic: Militarist (Turian culture is heavily militarist)

Age: 50

Summary: A highly-skilled Turian operative that aided in the defeat of a Crisis-level enemy. Once a part of a team of special individuals under the leadership of one Commander Shepard, he now seeks to explore and expand his own capabilities as a leader.

Notes:

Thoughts? With all the interesting characters we see in the Mass Effect games, I'm probably going to make a lot of them Stellaris Paragons.

When it comes to space operas, I think I prefer Mass Effect over Star Wars or Star Trek. I don't care that in Star Wars, thousands of years of stagnation took place prior to the events in the movies, and afterwards, going off of Legends (which is Canon as far as I'm concerned), there's a period of massive instability with galactic government after galactic government coming and going, again and again. And I don't care for how utopian Star Trek is. Humanity has lost its teeth in that one. That leaves Mass Effect for me.

Chapter 9: Liara T'Soni (Mass Effect Trilogy)

Notes:

I decided to have Liara as a Stellaris Paragon the same time that I decided to do Garrus. I love Mass Effect, and I like that so many of its characters can be reimagined as Stellaris Paragons. I just have to sit down and figure out what their classes, traits, and ethics are.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Liara T’Soni

Class: Scientist

Veteran Class: Scholar (Liara is well-versed in sifting through data to find clues others would miss)

Destiny Trait: Detail-Oriented (Liara pays attention to every minute detail in her investigations)

Positive Traits: Archeologist II (Liara’s defining trait), Excavator (Liara is an exceptionally gifted archaeologist), Expertise: Archaeostudies (Liara has long studied the ancient technologies left behind by previous civilizations), Custom AI Assistant (Glyph has been modified for data processing and to better function as an assistant), Psychic (Well, Biotic, but close enough)

Negative Trait: Reclusive (Liara isn’t good with people and prefers to work alone or with close friends)

Ethic: Spiritualist (Asari culture is heavily influenced by their old goddess, Athame; “By the Goddess!”)

Age: 116

Summary: A prodigy who specializes in the study of long-gone civilizations. After a mysterious hiatus from her archaeological studies during a Crisis, she has returned to her old occupation, now accompanied by an AI assistant, “Glyph”.

Notes:

Thoughts? Most fanfiction depictions of Liara show her continuing her work as the Shadow Broker after the Reapers are dealt with. Liara going back to her archeological studies sounds nice to me, like she's returning to what she loves doing. That, and in Stellaris, only Generals can have the "Shadow Broker" trait. As a Stellaris Paragon, Liara doesn't strike me as a General; she's a Scientist through and through.

Edit as of 5/30/2024: Changed Veteran Class from Explorer to Scholar, changed Destiny Trait from Frontier Adventurer to Detail-Oriented, bumped Archeologist up to Archeologist II, and replaced Insightful with Excavator and Expertise: Archaeostudies.

Chapter 10: Trigger (Ace Combat 7)

Notes:

This Paragon profile was made completely by "Bill Nye the Russian Spy" on AO3. This is the first profile that is 100% the work of someone else.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Trigger (Ace Combat 7).

Class: Admiral

Veteran Class: Tactician (His advantage comes from adapting to the enemy)

Destiny Trait: Guerilla Tactician (With most of his time spent flying fighter jets, he knows how to complete his goals with less)

Positive Traits: Venerated (Became the Hero of the Lighthouse War), Carrier Focus (Knows how to use fighters to accomplish his goals).

Negative Trait: Reclusive (Doesn't like the spotlight at all)

Ethic: Militarist (Likely has the highest kill count in the OADF)

Age: 27

Summary: Enlisted in the IUN peacekeepers, Trigger was part of the Lighthouse War as soon as it kicked off. After being framed for killing a national hero, he managed to redeem himself and save Strangereal by defeating the Z.O.E. units.

Notes:

Thoughts? I am not at all familiar with Ace Combat 7 or any of its characters, just to let you know.

Chapter 11: Bronn Luxprin (World of Io DnD Campaign)

Notes:

Whoa! It has been a while since I last posted a Paragon, huh? Hope I haven't kept any of you waiting.

Now, this Paragon was suggested by Just_A_Guy!: Bronn Luxprin from the World of Io DnD campaign. I don't anything about this character, so this is all Just_A_Guy!'s work here, though I did shorten the summary to be more in line with the Stellaris Paragon format, and I also added the Immortal trait. Hope you like it!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Bronn Luxprin (World of Io DnD Campaign). Suggested by Just_A_Guy!

Class: General (The last All King of Alabaster)

Veteran Class: Invader (Fights on the frontline himself often with a small group of skilled warriors)

Destiny Trait: Supreme Warrior (Div's chosen warrior)

Positive Traits: Immortal, Inspiring (Div's light shall inspire all!), Warlike (Fights monsters with unwavering strength and courage)

Negative Trait: Intolerant (Despises those aligned with the Void and those who oppose the way of Div), Stubborn (even after his and Div's defeat by the Fallen heroes Bronn still worships her and her ways)

Ethic: Fanatic Spiritualist (Worships Div zealously)

Age: 1500+

Summary: A devout and zealous follower of a goddess from a long-dead religion. A warrior and then a king, Bronn Luxprin now journeys on a pilgrimage through the stars to an unknown destination.

Notes:

This guy definitely takes the record when it comes to age. Also, I'm wondering if I need to add the Psychic trait, as Just_A_Guy!'s description seems to hint at Bronn possessing supernatural/psionic power. As I'm not familiar with him, feel free to let me know!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this Paragon, and have a great day!

Chapter 12: Eve (Stellar Blade)

Notes:

This is not how I imagined breaking into the Stellar Blade fanfiction fandom, but here I am! It is good to be back, making Stellaris Paragons again!

Now, this is based on the Making New Memories ending, which not only is the first I've gotten on Stellar Blade, but also the best one. Basically, this is set some time after the events of Stellar Blade; I'm thinking that an alien civilization happened upon Mother Sphere and took her down, allowing Eve to venture out into the cosmos.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Eve

Class: Commander

Veteran Class: General (Eve’s specialty is ground combat, becoming the protector of Xion following the Making New Memories ending)

Destiny Trait: Supreme Warrior (Eve is the very definition of this, having slaughtered hundreds of Naytiba)

Positive Traits: Immortal (after fusing with Adam, Eve has become immortal), Cyborg (Eve was formerly a Synth, but become a cyborg following the fusion with Adam), Adventurous Spirit  (Eve has a penchant for exploring and seeing new things and people), Champion of the People (Eve became the heroine of Xion’s people), Hostility (Eve doesn’t shy away from a fight), Butcher II (Eve has a knack for slaughtering her opponents)

Negative Trait: Disorder (Eve functions better as a single warrior than as a commander)

Ethic: Militarist (Eve’s background and training as an Airborne Squad Member is always going to be a part of her)

Age: 19

Summary: A warrior from a devastated world infested with insanely dangerous wildlife. A Synth created by an Artificial Intelligence to be the ultimate weapon, Eve has somehow become a cyborg, an organic being with cybernetic implants, boasting the best of both the organic and the synthetic, the “Mother of a New Mankind”.

Notes:

Thoughts? Feel free to let me know if you think there are Leader Classes or Traits that fit Eve better. Also, I'm feeling a little iffy on the explanations for each trait, so let me know if you can do a better description.

Chapter 13: Lily Artemis II (Stellar Blade)

Notes:

And I've already moved on to Lily! Seriously, she is a big help to Eve with coming up with new upgrades and also serving as a Repair Console. She'd definitely make for a great Scientist, though I was a little stuck between making her an Analyst or a Statistician, the latter winning out. With some of Stellaris' new veteran leader classes, it's a little hard to figure out what a character would be.

Anyway, here's a new Paragon already, and from Stellar Blade too! For the record, I think that game is absolutely amazing, and I intend on starting a new playthrough on New Game+ on Hard Mode after another Paragon or two is finished. I'm glad to be writing in the Stellar Blade category, even if it's just something small like this. Ok then, here we go!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: Lily Artemis II

Class: Scientist

Veteran Class: Statistician (Give her a budget and a nation’s worth of scientists and research, and Lily would produce some amazing technologies)

Destiny Trait: Great Researcher (Her upgrades to the Drone and to Eve’s agility, and also giving her Tachy Mode and an additional Exospine shows that Lily is a true genius)

Positive Traits: Synthetic, Spark of Genius (Her accomplishments listed above are truly genius), Inquisitor (Lily has an inquisitive mind, always looking to upgrade and improve Eve and her gear), Expertise: Propulsion (Lily expertise is focused on weapons and improving them), Eagerness (as shown by Lily immediately getting to work in upgrading the Drone)

Negative Trait: Stubbornness (As shown by her extreme hesitance to believe that Mother Sphere wasn’t actually a god, that the Naytiba were Humans and “Humans” Andro-Eidos, and that Adam genuinely wanted to end the conflict peacefully)

Ethic: Materialist (Following Mother Sphere’s betrayal, Lily has set aside her old faith to focus on her projects and research)

Age: 21

Summary: A truly Synth scientist from a devastated world that used to boast an amazingly advanced society. After her faith being dealt a devastating blow, Lily Artemis II is distrustful of faith and religion in general, and is focused on delivering results in developing new technologies and greatly improving older ones.

Notes:

Thoughts? Like I said with Eve, feel free to let me know if you think I was off the mark in any way. Figuring out the traits for Lily felt a lot like when I was doing Uzi's, though they are different. I wonder how the two of them would get along? I get the feeling they'd either get along great, or they'd be at each other's throats. Anyway, have a good one, and happy reading!

Chapter 14: Serial Designation J (Murder Drones)

Notes:

Back when I was first starting Stellaris Paragons, it was easy for me to come up with profiles for Uzi, N and V. I had considered doing one for J, but nothing came into mind for her. Now though, that's changed. With Uzi being a Scientist, and N and V both being Commanders, I guess it's only fitting that J would become an Official following the events of Murder Drones Season 1 (he said, gambling that J survives).

After surviving Copper 9 and breaking away from the Absolute Solver (I doubt that J would stay on with it after learning the truth about Tessa), she would go off to find a Megacorp to join up with, one that heavily utilizes a robotic workforce and an organic executive and management class. After all, she is corpo through and through.

Edit as of 2/25/2025: Deleted Machine trait

Renowned Paragon: Serial Designation J

Class: Official

Veteran Class: Industrialist (As a corporate lapdog, J has picked up how to get the most of a workforce, whether it’s using the carrot, or the stick)

Destiny Trait: Elite Benefactor (J is well-versed in knowing how to talk with corporate bigwigs and high class elites alike, gaining their good will easily)

Positive Traits: Efficient Staffing (J is good at delegating tasks and ensuring that only the best work under her), Private Mines II (from her time spent on the old mining planet of Copper 9, J has learned how to operate mines, and how to get the most out of them), Scrapper II (Rumor has it that J will dispose of inefficient, unrepairable, or rebellious Worker Drones herself, their oil taken for her own consumption and their robotic corpses recycled)

Negative Trait: Cruelty (As shown by her callous attitude and abusive actions towards N both before and after they became Disassembly Drones)

Ethic: Authoritarian (J loves being in charge and using (and abusing) her authority over others)

Age: 19

Summary: A bleeding edge combat drone sent in to pacify Worker Drone strikes for her old company, “JCJenson in Spaaaaacee!!!!” With her old employer now liquidated, J can piggyback off her old position as Team Leader of JCJenson’s best Disassembly Drone Squad and move the needle on keeping your restless Worker Drones not only in line, but make the process of mineral extraction seamless! Not only that, but she can put a permanent pin into any and all talks of unions, strikes, and other labor disputes, allowing her to utilize old resources and synergize them into new projects! Don’t miss out on this one of a kind Industrialist!

Notes:

Thoughts? I will admit, that was a longer summary than what I usually do. I looked up some corporate lingo because that's J's thing, and I wanted it to come across as an advertisement. And if it wasn't clear, J does murder any Worker, organic, machine, or synthetic, that dares speak out against her or the company (which is the same thing in her mind). Hell, she'll kill for less, like not being as quick as she'd like. She doesn't kill her staff, but she has no problem with verbal or physical abuse as we've seen in the show.

Any Authoritarian Megacorp, especially one with a robot workforce would happy to have her. This is the first of my Paragons who I consider to be a true villain.

Chapter 15: LSTR-512 "Elster" (SIGNALIS)

Notes:

This was suggested by "anotherting" here on AO3 in comments for chapter 11 (Bronn Luxprin). I'm not familiar with SIGNALIS, but I'm getting interested in taking a look at it.

I made two changes to anotherting's profile for Elster: I changed Combat Engineer (which doesn't exist as a trait in Stellaris, sorry!) to Frontier Adventurer (which seems very appropriate), and I changed Individualist (which only exists in Stellaris mods) to Egalitarian.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Renowned Paragon: LSTR-512 “Elster” (SIGNALIS)

Class: Scientist

Veteran Class: Explorer (Spent the first part of her life exploring space, spent the next part exploring nightmare flesh pits.)

Destiny Trait: Frontier Adventurer (Elster has been exploring beyond the bounds of known space for all of her life)

Positive Traits: Synthetic (Replikas are made of mechanical and biosynthetic parts, but organic Gestalt memories), Roamer (3000+ cycles of experience in space exploration, even though she never found anything), Resilient (She looks good for a girl who died 500+ times), Expertise: Voidcraft (Every Penrose vessel came with an LSTR unit for ship maintenance purposes in addition to a Gestalt pilot)

Negative Trait: Reclusive (Replika known issues: "Do Not Befriend the LSTR Unit")

Ethic: Egalitarian (The Nation sent them out on a doomed mission for propaganda. The state never cared about them, why should she care back?)

Age: ???

Summary: A Replika made for a failed exploration program, she can be found going through a time-looping nightmare of an ancient mining facility. After recovering her and the source of the madness, she'll join you in return for medical treatment for her life partner.

Notes:

Thanks again to anotherting for suggesting this character. I believe that I'm going to go check out SIGNALIS now. Have a good one, and happy reading!

Notes:

Now, I know it's short, but I'm using a similar format to what we see in Stellaris when the opportunity to recruit a Renowned Paragon comes around.

I hope this sparks your imagination, and I look forward to continuing with more characters. Have a good one, everyone, and happy writing!
