roommates and best friends lee jeno, lee haechan, na jaemin, and huang renjun navigate love, social expectations, somang prep's competitive environment, and much more
somang prep is a prestigious private boarding high school, situated between the mountain ranges and the urban city of somang-gu, allowing students to easily explore both the city and the natural environment. somang-gu is home to numerous large corporate headquarters and boasts luxurious restaurants and shopping districts. students also enjoy other activities in somang-gu, including ice skating and karaoke (and clubbing, but you didn't hear it from me).
somang prep is known for its excellent teachers and opportunities for academics, extracurriculars, arts, sports, and more. students live in residence halls on campus or in apartments in somang-gu. somang prep's main sport is hockey, due to the cooler temperatures in the area, and somang prep is competitive with 3 other elite private schools: sejong academy, cheonju institute, and geumgang academy. also due to somang prep's small student body, they frequently collaborate with students from those 3 schools for productions, competitions, and sports.
however, somang prep is not without its controversies. rumors suggest that they admit students based on their wealth and status, and they use sketchy practices to get their students accepted into selective universities. somang prep is also dedicated to maintaining its clean and perfect image and will do anything to prevent bad press on its students.

lee jeno as himself
lee jeno is the captain of the hockey team and son of lee woojin, the ceo of lee corp (based in somang-gu), whose name you may recognize in national rankings and lists. his father bought a house for him in somang-gu for him to live in when he takes over lee corp, and jeno's known for throwing wild parties at this house. he's notorious for being the school's biggest playboy with major daddy issues and a fear of commitment, but he gets forgiven because he's hot.
go yoonjung as woo nari
woo nari's mom is a retired opera star, who now offers private singing lessons for a high price, and her dad is a businessman. she's classically trained in opera (by her mother) and ballet but has also explored other singing and dancing forms. captain of the dance team, nari has a strained relationship with her teammates, who are intimidated (and maybe jealous) by nari's beauty and dancing skills. nari's also known as the "ice queen" of somang prep (a nickname spread by dance team members).
huh yunjin as lee eunji
lee eunji is openly bisexual, and as the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, vice-president of the student body, and member of the debate team, she loves using her influence to advocate for social rights and spread awareness on important issues. she's highly ambitious and hopes to pursue law or writing as a career. eunji always brightens everyone's day and loves expressing herself through makeup and fashion.
lee haechan as himself
you can always count on lee haechan, whether it be his reliable, swift saves as the hockey team's goalie, or his willingness to help with studying and homework. haechan is also the math club president and is involved in the student government and broadcast club, alongside his twin, lee eunji. after long and stressful days, he loves to play guitar or enjoy a nice book.
na jaemin as himself
na jaemin's goals include becoming valedictorian, going to law school, continuing to win speech and debate competitions, and maybe finally expressing his feelings to his debate partner of 3 years, eunji. there's nothing jaemin loves more than competition, and he loves the feeling of winning even the most trivial games. he also makes his presence known through his snarky jokes and infectious energy.
huang renjun as himself
renjun is a talented fine artist who loves creating art, going on walks, enjoying nature, and reading. he's also interested in biology, likes to incorporate science into his artworks, and is interested in pursuing art therapy as a career. he's introspective, reserved, and keeps to himself most of the time, but is an excellent listener who is always there for his friends.
