It was the perfect day for a date, with weather that wasn't too hot or too cold; the sun shining just right, and a gentle breeze passing through the trees. Most of the akademiya's students were already out and about, enjoying such a great day to its fullest. But not Alhaitham.
Haitham was at his usual table in the house of Daena, going through stacks and stacks of books which had piqued his interest recently. He had his nose buried in 'Princess and the Boar', practically drowning in it, when something hit the left side of his head. His shoulders jumped in surprise and he snapped around, frowning and ready to glare at the fool who dared to disturb him during his free time. The fool happened to be a blond boy standing a few feet away, half hiding behind a bookshelf and waving in hopes of grabbing Haitham's attention.
It was Kaveh.
Of course it was Kaveh, because who else dared to disturbed Haitham, the Lunatic of Haravatat, at any time, and in such a way too? No one but the one and only Light of Kshahrewar, that's for sure.
Now obviously, Kaveh could've just walked up to Haitham and talked to him like a normal person, but then he wouldn't be Kaveh. So, used to his senior's usual antics, Haitham merely rolled his eyes and moved his lips in a silent query, What?
Kaveh pointed to his left. Haitham looked over to find only more bookshelves. He looked back to his boyfriend and raised an eyebrow in confusion.
Kaveh pointed harder.
Haitham shook his head slowly, face twisted in his attempt to understand the other's message.
It was Kaveh's turn to roll his eyes and huff. He looked around the library, making sure that no one was watching them. Then stared Haitham right in the eye and tapped his lips.
Haitham's eyes widened in surprise and his mouth fell open just enough to let out a disbelieving huff. He gave Kaveh a look, You can't be serious.
Kaveh kept staring at him expectantly.
Haitham's expression turned deadpan, You're serious.
Kaveh puffed his cheeks and stomped his foot in irritation, glaring at Haitham with an adorable frown. Haitham could only shake his head as he looked away and laughed quietly. He then looked back at the still waiting blond and nodded with a smile, forever weak to his boyfriend's cute pouts and puppy dog eyes.
Kaveh's face lit up like the sun and he shouted a victorious, "Yes!" without realizing. He then instantly slapped a hand over his mouth, looking around the still silent library again with wide, frantic eyes.
Haitham only snickered at his panic. Kaveh stuck his tongue out at him childishly. Haitham clicked his own tongue in disapproval and narrowed his eyes. Kaveh giggled and ran away. Haitham might've then shook his head at the supposedly older boy's antics but he couldn't hide his fond smile.
Finally, Haitham closed his book and pushed away from his table, abandoning it in favour of following Kaveh. It's not like he could concentrate anyways.
Haitham passed the original bookshelf Kaveh was standing by, turning and walking towards the pointed path intently. His whole focus was on tracking down the other, sharp turquoise eyes catching sight of the golden wisp of hair disappearing around the corner a bit ahead of him. He was taking his time, steps languid and heavy, like a predator hunting down prey with nowhere to run.
At last, Haitham turned the corner just in time to trap Kaveh against a bookshelf, slapping a hand next to his head and closing his escape route. Kaveh looked up at him with excitement, carmine doe eyes filled with fear and arousal all the same. It made Haitham smirk, leaning to whisper in his ear huskily, " Caught you ."
Kaveh opened his mouth but he never got a chance to say anything as Haitham used that opportunity to shove his tongue down the blond's throat. When Kaveh had asked for a secret make out session in the house of Daena, this is definitely not what he was thinking of. Their kiss was by no means soft or sweet or romantic like how one imagined to be Kaveh's preference. It was possessive and demanding because in Haitham's mind Kaveh deserved to be kissed stupid. He deserved to be kissed so hard he forgot his own name. He was just so pretty like that, with ruby eyes glossed over and disheveled sunshine locks framing his rosy cheeks and shining red lips like the piece of art that he was. Haitham wanted- no yearned to kiss Kaveh so hard that he never got the taste of the younger out of his mouth. And what Haitham wanted, Haitham got.
Soon, Kaveh's legs started shaking as all the strength in his legs were sucked out of him along with the air in his lungs. He wrapped his arms around his lover's neck in a desperate attempt to stand upright, moaning and whining as Haitham didn't relent at all. At some point, Haitham's free hand had coiled around the blond's snached waist, gripping it so hard that none of them would've been surprised if it left marks. Kaveh bruised quite easily after all and Haitham always abused that fact.
Eventually, as much as Haitham hated it, they had to separate to breathe. To his delight, Kaveh was a mess already, his pupils were so dilated that his eyes almost looked black and his cheeks were a delicious strawberry color. Haitham had the sudden urge to bite him.
"No- no fair," Kaveh whined mid panting and Haitham knew he was protesting about the difference between their states. Compared to Kaveh’s disheveled state, Haitham barely looked any different. His cheeks were a pale pink and his hair was slightly mussed from when Kaveh pushed his hands in it, but otherwise, he looked as dignified as ever. Definitely not how you'd expect a man who was busy ravishing his partner merely seconds ago to look.
Haitham only chuckled at his spoiled lover and leaned to murmur in his red ear. "Satisfied?"
Kaveh's breath hitched. "N-no."
Haitham smirked, dragging his lips down his light's delicate neck. "Good," He said with his lips pressed against fair unmarked skin. "Because I'm not done with you yet." He then started to kiss and bite, leaving behind possessive claiming marks.
"Ah- ah! Hnnng ," Kaveh moaned then slapped a hand to his mouth to muffle any more unwelcome sounds, clawing at Haitham's back with his other hand. "Hai- ah! gentle- Haiyi- "
Haitham smiled at the pet name and cooed back at the other. "Kavam~"
Kaveh’s face burst into flames and he smacked Haitham's shoulder. "I told you not to call me that!"
"But why not?" Haitham pretended to be sad. "Don't you want to be mine as much as I'm yours?"
Kaveh was now red to his ears. He huffed. "Just… shut up and kiss me."
Haitham chuckled. "Yes, senior."
They're second kiss was slower, sweeter, as they took their time exploring each other. It was quite exhilarating considering how they could get caught at any moment but all the fear and excitement was lost in the feeling of being in one another's arms, of being loved .
It was the perfect day for an outing and they were definitely better off doing this whole thing somewhere else or even going on an actual date. But they didn't because what they had at that moment was perfect, perfectly them. And although Haitham would grumble about his lost reading time and Kaveh would whine about all the 'embarrassing' love bites later on, they both know, deep down, that none of them would change that moment for anything else.
