   Summary

   It is the Merithic Era. War has broken out between the Nord slaves and Keizaal's dragons.

   Paarthurnax, Chief Lieutenant of Dragons and Alduin's most trusted brother, has formed an unlikely friendship with three Nord resistance leaders. His beliefs are challenged, and he must soon make the inevitable choice of which side he's truly on.

   Odahviing, a high-ranking dragon who never says no to a fight, struggles to adapt to a changing world. He has his code, and he'll follow it to the end. However, he forms his own insecurities as the war drags on.

   As an outcast and the only necromancer dragon in Keizaal, Qethtuzgol is spared from the fighting. But if he wants to meet the Ideal Masters, he must first complete a difficult task for Alduin.
