Chapter Text
Hot flames engulfed the surrounding buildings, burning everything in its path, starting to erase all the tragedies that kept passing around it.
Michael Afton
A poor soul trapped in its own body, unable to leave or simply erased. All tragedies leave deep scars to imprint on his soul. Making him die many times in the process even losing himself.
He couldn't even call himself a human, as he had abandoned his human life the moment he died for the first time. Making him live in the shadows and exile, while trying to avoid a group of strangers who are constantly trying to catch him.
He could never forget them. A group of fully armed people with full body vests. Trying to shoot him with a stun bullet that he can easily dodge. How his body tensed up and moved on instinct as he dodged all the bullets they shot at him. And that's when he saw her, the Umbrella Logo emblazoned on their vests, never to fade from his memory.
And all of that will end now. All the struggles and suffering that he went through would end up in a flame that slowly crept up and burned the hem of his black pants, rising all the way up to burn his broken and decaying body. The smell of burning flesh wafted through the air, complementing the inhuman screams from the surrounding vents. The frantic screams of the monster he once called father, the sorrowful screams of the sister he once disappointed and the friend he couldn't save. And also an apology to the little brother he couldn't make happy and for accepting such a cruel fate.
He lowered his head as he felt a small weight in his stomach, to look at Helpy, the tiny animatronic he had created that he loved so much. The little bear clung to him, closing his eyes as he cradled his master's belly with his little arms, never letting go. He moved his hand over the little bear's head, stroking it gently.
He listens to Henry's final speech, the conclusion to all the tragedies that have occurred and the end of a trapped life that haunts inanimate objects. Heedless of how the hot flames had begun to melt his body, destroying the very existence of his being.
He wished that he could feel the heat, feel the agony of the melting skin and burning flesh. But he couldn't feel all that privilege, his nerves had died years ago, died with a body that didn't belong to him anymore, with him being a prisoner inside his own body.
Heaving a tired sigh, he closed his eyes feeling the fire begin to cover his vision, hugging Helpy who was in his lap to give the little bear and himself some final comfort. Accepting the promise of death and letting the darkness embrace his soul once again. Drowning him in the peace he so longed for.

A liquid purple mass pulsed slowly over the ashes and rubble of a burning building, spreading around like erratic moving roots, pulsing in search of something. New body. A suitable host for them, filled with suffering and ambition to be able to accommodate them. But good enough not to be swallowed up by the darkness.
They felt it, a new host that would fit in. Filled with the suffering and ambition they need. They touched the first body they found, coiled every limb they could reach, reattaching and repairing the broken body. Repair what they should repair without damaging or changing the existing body structure.
Another mass of fluid moved to envelop the body, covering everything in its place with a viscous purple viscous fluid. They move to make new organs that function normally, cover the heart that has just been repaired and spread throughout the body. Settle deep inside and wait for their new host to wake up.
They also saw a small robot, a white bear with a casing that had melted and had damage everywhere. They knew the bear's relationship with their new host, with that in mind they also wrapped around the white bear's casing, enveloping it in the remaining purple masa. Give the little bear some real life and maybe a peace sign to their new host.
