Work Text:
Kaiser sat at his desk next to the window, his head planted on a propped up arm as the teacher monotonously drawled on about some math topic. Kaiser didn’t care to pay attention, deciding the increasingly darkening sky was much more entertaining to watch.
It looked like it was about to rain, much to Kaiser’s disappointment. This meant the forecast of a thunderstorm happening that day really was true, so football practice would be canceled.
Well, it wasn’t as if he was missing out on much. Much like this lecture he was being forced to sit through, football in Japan could be described as mind-numbingly boring. The egos of many of the football players he had the displeasure of meeting here, whether ally or foe, were half-baked or not even formed at all. There was no fire, no thrill to dominate the field, no desire to claw their way to the top, even if it meant throwing your own teammates to the side.
Kaiser would much rather be back home in Germany where he had some actual friends and could play some real football. Unfortunately for him, due to bad behavior like constantly skipping school and bullying allegations, (which was bullshit, Ness definitely liked that shit), his parents had enough and decided to send him on a one-way trip to Japan to “learn compassion” and “explore other cultures”. (The latter, again, being bullshit! He already knew basic knowledge about Japan from a relative that lived there). Now he was stuck at this stupid school that was slowly destroying his love for his sport.
It got to the point where Kaiser gave up on Japanese football, instead opting to use the training grounds to boost his individual skill.
There was one exception, however.
Enter Isagi Yoichi, one of his classmates.
Kaiser’s first impression of the boy was nothing special. He was your average Japanese student - who seemed nice enough, even when Kaiser was curt the first few times they talked when the boy approached him. Other than that, Kaiser concluded that Isagi wasn’t very interesting so he didn’t pay him much mind.
That was until he saw him one day, playing football with some friends after school. That’s where he blossomed into someone worth looking at. His technique was nothing to write home about and his body couldn’t keep up with some of the tough maneuvers but there was something about it. His play-style was on the analytical side, his eyes skirting across the field constantly to find new opportunities to exploit.
In a way, it kind of reminded him how his own play-style. Though, Kaiser was still obviously better than him, he couldn’t find it in himself to look away, his eyes glued to the boy.
There was a particular moment after Isagi received a pass from one of his teammates and hit a direct shot into the goal. He had turned to give that teammate a high five when Kaiser saw it. Those eyes. Those deep blue eyes that shined with an emotion Kaiser hadn’t seen on the field for so long. It was almost like he could feel it too, this overwhelming sense of pride that made his chest seize up with glee.
Kaiser wanted to be there too. To play alongside Isagi and become the rulers of the field together. He wanted to quench this insatiable hunger that was building up in his gut. But for the first time ever, he, a boy who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted, hesitated.
He was being weird, wasn’t he? The fact that some random, insignificant boy from a country he was temporarily visiting could have such an effect on him shook him to the core. There was also a fear that this interest could bloom into something he was not ready for. So instead of confronting him, he walked away, once again choosing his pride over his genuine feelings.
But he soon found out that he couldn’t avoid the boy no matter how hard he tried. After that event, his eyes would somehow find themselves landing on Isagi. He also found himself following the boy everywhere he went. Well, whenever he wasn’t getting himself into trouble by skipping class or leaving the premises during school hours (what could Kaiser say, old habits died hard).
Due to this, he earned the reputation of the troublemaker foreigner, which is he didn’t mind much as he didn’t care much about his popularity in a place like this but it seemed that Isagi did. Since they were always together, people started associating them with one another and often mistaken the two as friends.
That couldn’t be further from the truth because it didn’t take too long before Isagi made his irritation with Kaiser’s existence known, writing him off as a pest. Honestly, Kaiser couldn’t take it very seriously as Isagi’s angered face could be likened to a cute little dog. He couldn’t hold himself back from teasing him constantly about it which only seemed to make the boy angrier.
All in all, their little push and pull relationship was probably the best possible scenario. It allowed Kaiser to be close to Isagi without the emotional attachment. Still, Kaiser couldn’t fight the feeling of wanting more. If only…
Suddenly, the sound of a bell rang throughout the classroom, marking the end of the school day. Kaiser was already packed and ready to go but opted to stay seated to watch Isagi struggle to quickly pack up his belongings. From the looks of it, he was so engrossed in the lesson that he didn’t notice the school day coming to a close.
Heh, what a nerd, Kaiser thought.
Kaiser could offer some help but the sight was too cute to interrupt and it wasn’t like Isagi would accept his help anyway. So he patiently waited until Isagi was done before getting out of his seat and walking up to the shorter boy, placing a hand in his hair.
“Are you finally done now? That took forever,” Kaiser playfully whined in near perfect Japanese, his German accent permeating every words.
Isagi blew air out of his nose in irritation, throwing his book-bag over his shoulder, “It’s not like I asked you to wait for me, asshole,” he said, prying Kaiser’s hand off his head, “If you have no business with me, just leave me alone, okay?”
Used to Isagi’s harsh tone, Kaiser smiled, “Oh, but I do have a request for you, Yoichi!” Isagi flinched at his given name being used, which made Kaiser smile even wider. He loved having that effect on him, “As you can see from looking out the window, it appears that it’s about to rain. I unfortunately do not have an umbrella on my person and seeing how you’re such a responsible person, you probably have one. Do you see where this is going?”
Isagi narrowed his eyes, “I mean…yeah, I have an umbrella. But there’s no way in hell I’m sharing with you.”
Mustering up the most innocent face he could, Kaiser pouted, “Really? Why not? Are you seriously okay with me walking around in that weather?”
“I am very okay with that actually. You aren’t my problem,” he said, deadpan.
Ouch. Kaiser would be lying if he said that didn’t hurt. He had honestly expected Isagi to at least give in a little but maybe today Isagi was in a bad mood.
“That’s rather cruel of you, isn’t it?” He joked with no real bite behind it, “Well, I guess it’s fine since you don’t owe me anything anyway. I’ll just wait at the entrance until the storm passes over. Bye then.”
He then scurried out of the classroom, leaving a frowning Isagi behind. He made his way down the stairs and to the lockers where he exchanged his school shoes for his normal ones. As he put them on, he looked out the window where a light drizzle pattered down on the pavement.
For a moment, he contemplated just walking anyway while the weather was less severe but decided against it. After all, any amount of rain had the potential of ruining his perfectly styled hair. He also had the option of asking his aunt to come pick him up but also decided that it wasn’t serious enough for that. Kaiser sighed, accepting that he might be stuck here for a few hours.
That was until he felt a presence looming behind him. He turned back to see Isagi standing over him, his umbrella in hand. His face looked conflicted and he immediately stepped back when Kaiser saw him.
Kaiser raised an eyebrow, “Ah, Yoichi, I understand you dislike me but is it really necessary to flaunt that thing in my face?”
Isagi froze at that accusation, “I’m not flaunting anything, you idiot. I just…” The boy gets flustered, his fist tightening around the handle, “God, I just kinda felt bad about refusing you when it won’t take much for me to get you home. We’re on the same route anyway so… Fuck, I don’t have to explain myself to you! Just get up and let’s go, okay?
By the end of his short spiel, his cheeks were dusted with a pretty shade of red and he was shifting on his feet.
Kaiser stared incredulously at him. Then, a smile slowly formed on his lips as he rose to his feet, “Wow, aren’t you being kind all of a sudden? What were you saying about me not being your problem again?” He asked, pushing his hands in his pockets as he leaned dangerously close to the shorter boys face.
While his face was still crimson red, he was unphased by Kaiser’s bold attitude, his eyes grew darker and unwavering as he stood his ground.
“Don’t push your luck, Kaiser. I’m willing to help you out this time but I’d appreciate if you stopped acting like my clingy lapdog from now on.”
Kaiser tilted his head, “You think of me as your dog? I had no idea you were into that kind of stuff,” he said, smirking.
Isagi recoiled back, scrunching his nose in disgust, “Do you have to be so fucking gross all the time?!” He exclaimed, drawing a laugh from Kaiser.
“I’m just joking, my dear Yoichi. Now,” He grabbed Isagi’s hand and laced them together, “We should get going before the storm gets worse.”
An embarrassing squawk came out of Isagi’s mouth and he planted his feet, preventing Kaiser from moving, “Hey, don’t hold my hand! People will get the wrong idea!”
“Don’t they already?” Kaiser inquired.
“It’s only because you’re always around me all day! What else are they supposed to think?”
Kaiser scoffed, “Do you really give other people’s opinions that much weight? Isn’t that pathetic.”
“Well, I’m sorry that unlike you, I actually care about my reputation,” Isagi spat out.
“Please, Yoichi,” he drawled, stretching the word out, “They’ll make up stupid shit about you regardless so there’s no point in trying to appease them.”
Isagi frowned up at him, noticing a slight shift, “What the hell are you getting at?”
They stare at each other for a moment as Isagi expectantly waited for a response. Kaiser couldn’t help but admire his face. His eyebrows were drawn together and his frown looked more like a pout than anything.
“You’re really cute,” he mumbled under his breath in his daze.
“What was that?”
Kaiser snapped out of it, his eyes widening as he realized what he said. Isagi looked confused but didn’t seem to have heard what he said. Kaiser quietly sighed in relief before tightening his grip on Isagi’s hand.
“Nothing, it was nothing! I say weird stuff all the time, you know?” He said, joyfully chuckling.
“Yeah…you do…” Isagi still looked skeptical but seemed to let it go. With their hands still intertwined, he stepped in front of Kaiser and led him out the door.
The rain was starting to get stronger but it still looked fine to walk out. He stared at the umbrella for a second before turning to Kaiser.
“Let go of my hand so I can open the umbrella,” he said sternly.
“Oh yeah, actually, I was thinking that I should hold the umbrella instead.”
Isagi looked upset with that idea, “And why the hell would I do that?”
“Because you’re vertically challenged and I don’t want my hair all up in the umbrella.” Kaiser said as if it was obvious. Before Isagi could complain, Kaiser retracted his hand from Isagi’s and grabbed the umbrella, undoing the velcro and opening it in one smooth motion.
He showed off, sending Isagi a charming smile only to be met with his unimpressed face.
Isagi rolled his eyes, “You’re not getting a reaction out of me. Let’s go,” Isagi curtly said before grabbing Kaiser’s hand and dragged him along into the rain.
Kaiser was a second too late to pull it over their heads, causing his hair to get a little wet. He promptly whined about it but Isagi continued his stride with a slight smile on his face.
The first 5 minutes of their walk were spent in silence. It wasn’t like Kaiser didn’t have anything to say, trust that he always had something to talk about. The truth was that he was maybe a little nervous. This was the first time Isagi had let him stand this close to him for so long. Usually he would push him off immediately and show him a scowl to really drive home that he disliked him.
Now, they were smushed together under an umbrella that barely fit the two of them. The weather around them was already warm, with it being summer time but that couldn’t compare to the heat radiating from Isagi’s body. It was warm, too warm, like a damn furnace. But strangely enough, Kaiser found it comforting, like the soft blanket he’d wrap around himself during the harsh German winter. Kaiser wanted nothing more than to lean in closer and-
“-ser, don’t ignore me!”
Kaiser’s head snapped in Isagi’s direction, surprised the boy was calling out for him.
“Huh, what?”
“Huh, what? ” Isagi mocked in a high-pitched voice, swaying head side to side with each word. “I was talking to you, dickhead.”
“Oh really? You’re so bored that you’re even willing to talk to me?”
Isagi gritted his teeth. “It’s not like that, you…” He stopped and forced himself to take a deep breath before responding, “Look, I want to get over this quickly and walking in silence is making it worse. Can you just cooperate with me here?”
Kaiser could choose to be a total cunt here and make things difficult but decided against it, “You know what, I’ll play along just this once?”
Isagi seemed satisfied with that, “Good, well- uh- '' It wasn’t very bright but Kaiser could see a tinge of red on Isagi’s cheek, “I just wanted to know how your time in Japan has been.”
Kaiser’s lip quirked up, “You want my typical or honest response?”
Isagi shot him a curious look, “Give it to me straight.”
“I mean, if you insist,” he said, “I’d say the only thing I’ve really enjoyed is the food. Seriously, I’ll have to bring some mochi back home because that shit is delicious .”
Isagi’s lips began to tremble as if he was holding back a smile. Kaiser talked on and on about how Japan was for him with Isagi quipping in frequently, pretty engaged in the conversation. They even shared a few laughs here and there. It was surprising how easy it was to talk to Isagi. Like any other exchange of words, there were ups and down but Kaiser could say he was thoroughly enjoying the experience.
“Are you sure you want my honest opinion about the football here?” Kaiser asked, not sure if he should go into that whole mess.
“I’m serious! I wouldn’t care if you ripped it to shreds even!” Isagi quipped, a playful twinkle in his eye.
“Well, if you insist,” Kaiser shrugged, “Japanese football is absolute trash. All this ‘one for all and all for one’ bullshit makes me gag. No one here has any real drive to win. I’m already better than everyone else but no one has even challenged me at all. Can you believe that?”
Isagi sighed, “I honestly can. That’s just how it is here. They’ll try to force you to conform and if you don’t, you’ll just get kicked out. That’s pretty much what happened to-“
Isagi cut himself off by slamming his free hand over his mouth. Kaiser raised his eyebrows at that, slowing their pace, “What was that you said?”
Isagi’s eyes met his for a second before darting elsewhere, “Nothing, it was nothing! It doesn’t matter anyway.” He tried awkwardly laughing it off to no avail.
"That didn't sound like nothing. It almost sounded like," Kaiser took a sharp inhale through his nose, quickly figuring it out, "You were a part of the school's football team. Why aren't you on it anymore? I know you like football so...wait a fucking minute, did they kick you out? The fucking nerve!"
Isagi looked shocked but quickly threw on an expression of forced neutrality, staring anywhere but at Kaiser.
Meanwhile, Kaiser could feel himself seething, his teeth grinding against each other. How dare those nobodies try to snuff out Isagi’s light, the very light that drew him to Isagi in the first place?
Kaiser couldn’t even say he was surprised. Though he didn’t participate in team activities, he knew how his ‘teammates’ were. They seemed friendly on the outside, praising Kaiser for his skills but he could see past all the flattery to the rotting flesh underneath.
The only way to describe it was jealousy. They were jealous of everything he had to offer so they tried humbling him to bring him down to their level. Kaiser was lucky he wasn’t the type to be swayed by others. He wouldn’t be the king if he did.
But Isagi wasn’t like that. It was true that he was strong-willed like him but there was a difference in circumstances that was important to highlight. While Kaiser was born into an environment that put an emphasis on personal talent, Isagi grew up having his individuality hammered down to satisfy the collective.
Kaiser knew it wasn’t his fault at all but for some irrational reason, that made him mad at Isagi too.
“I know you can be a pushover but goddammit, you’re just going to let them do that to you?!”
“God, Kaiser, don’t start making assumptions. I left of my own volition!” Isagi hissed.
Kaiser sarcastically laughed, “Oh, don’t fucking lie to yourself. That makes it sound like you had free will when you didn’t. You ran away because of what a bunch of NPCs thought of you. You’re nothing but a coward.”
This made Isagi stop in his tracks and snatch his hand out of Kaiser’s. Kaiser stopped too, turning to Isagi with calculating eyes. Due to the darkness around them, the shadows casted over Isagi’s face, hiding his expression. Judging by his withdrawn body language, however, Kaiser could tell the boy was not happy.
“Kaiser.” Isagi’s voice sounded strained, as if he was trying to hold himself back.
Kaiser only stared back with narrowed eyes.
Isagi mumbled something though due to the rain, which had only gotten louder and heavier, obstructed what he said.
Kaiser clicked his tongue, annoyed, “If you’re going to say something, say it out loud. What, are you even scared to speak up against-“
That was all he could get out before a warm, hard mass slammed into him, knocking the umbrella out of his hand and him to the ground. A gargled gasp escaped his mouth as his body hit the pavement hard.
In the midst of shock, a scorching hot feeling of anger filled Kaiser's body as he felt the rain soaking into his ironed white dress shirt. With one move, all his efforts to avoid the water were wasted. Through his blurry vision from the pouring rain, he focused his eyes on the figure on top of him, to scream at him for being so careless before stilling to a stop.
With the boy hovering over him, he took how the boy was basically shivering with an anger similar to his. No, that couldn’t be it. It was worse. Kaiser’s petty little anger couldn’t compare to the unbridled rage that was seared into Isagi’s whole being.
Kaiser could hear his ragged breaths forcing their way out through the cracks of his bared teeth. His wet, crinkled face was a tomato red color that would usually fill Kaiser’s heart with a sense of joy but now caused his heart to drop to his stomach. And his eyes, those eyes, were as intense as they were on that fateful day.
Kaiser once again became enamored with the spitting flames within those deep blue eyes. The shadows on his face made them look like they were burning even brighter, flickering with frustration. Like a true fire, it filled his body with a warmth that was both intoxicating and dangerous. He wanted to get closer, to bring their bodies so close that they could be considered one.
“Kaiser,” was all that Isagi had to say to pull him out of his trance. “You’re such a fucking asshole,” he growled, his hands grabbing the collar of Kaiser’s soaked shirt and pulled, bringing Kaiser halfway off the ground.
“You’re just figuring that out now?” was what he wanted to say but such a response would only break the tension that was brewing between them so he said nothing.
"You-you just piss me off so much I can't take it anymore! All you do is act all high and mighty, looking down on everyone from your stupid little throne." Isagi's hands started to tremble as his grip tightened, "Do you really think that you're so perfect that you feel like you can talk down on me? You can't even confess to me and you want badger on about me being a coward?"
...What?
As the last sentence sunk in, Kaiser could feel his stomach painfully twist with this strange feeling he doesn't experience often. It was the same emotion he felt when his exhausted parents slammed the exchange program flyer on the table in front of him when he was still in his home country. The same emotion he felt the first time he stepped into his new school. The same emotion when he realized what he felt for Isagi was no longer mere interest, but something more.
It was this cold feeling of impending doom.
Despite that ugly feeling, Kaiser forced a smirk on his face to try to convince himself that his world wasn't collapsing, "What the hell are you going on about? Me? Wanting you?" He let out a little laugh, as if it was a ridiculous thought, "The only reason I'm always around you is because you're so easy to tease. There's nothing more to it."
"You're lying," Isagi argued. "What, do you think I'm stupid? You don't think I noticed the way you glare at me? You always look like a lovesick fool. No wonder there are rumors about us dating."
Kaiser immediately dropped the act, eyes widening at that piece of information, "What? There are rumors?" He said, breathless.
Isagi scoffed, "Of course there are. The tall, attractive troublemaker foreigner latched on one of their classmates like a damn mutt," he let out a humorless laugh, "Why wouldn't they eat that up?"
Kaiser didn't respond, the shock of all of this leaving him speechless.
Isagi continued, his voice getting a little quieter, "And because of it, the way people treat me has changed. I mean, I was already getting flack for leaving the football team and now people are talking about me because they suspect I'm gay. You can call me a coward all you want but that kind of stuff isn't treated the same way it is in Germany. People here are straight up hateful."
While he spoke, a pained look skewed his face, making him look so vulnerable. A sharp ache ran through Kaiser's heart and he wanted nothing more than to wrap Isagi in a hug, pride be damned. He hadn't even considered any of that. Something that was all fun and games for him turned out to be hell on Isagi's end. He wouldn't classify himself as a good listener, hell, anyone he deemed unworthy of his attention turned into background noise for him. Still, even he knew people talked. He had naively assumed that people thought they were merely friends, not that they were fucking dating. To think that people were talking bad about Isagi due to that and he wasn't even aware? No wonder Isagi tried to push him away.
After some hesitation, he carefully chose his words, "...I'm sorry, I didn't know anything about that. If I had known, I would have stopped," Isagi shoots him a suspicious look and he sighed, "Okay, I would have tried stopping. I think?" Kaiser huffed in frustration, "Fuck, this isn't going anywhere. Look, I'm willing to listen to you now, okay? I'll follow your wishes and leave you alone."
Isagi studied him for a moment, his eyes searching his face.
Even though he didn't feel very happy, he gave Isagi a strained smile, "I'm not lying this time, Yo...Isagi. Could you trust me just this once?"
Isagi's expression turned conflicted as he heard Kaiser utter his surname. He loosened his grip on Kaiser's shirt and placed his hands on his thighs. With pursed lips, he looked around him before turning back to Kaiser.
"I can't do this here," he mumbled under his breath as he rose to his feet.
"What do you mean by that? Are you still upset?" He asked in a tone that was more panicked than he liked, quickly scrambling off the ground.
"Calm down, Kaiser, I'm not angry anymore, I just," He hesitated before his cheeks turned that familiar color of red, "Just come with me."
That's all he said before picking up his abandoned umbrella and walking on. Kaiser was confused, really confused, but he decided not to question it and listen to Isagi for once.
That's how he ended up under a dome-shaped structure on the playground he passed by every day to and from school. Luckily, due to the storm, it was completely empty, making the situation he was in slightly less stressful.
Why was it stressful, you may ask?
Ask this temptress Isagi who was situated right in Kaiser's lap, their bodies flush against each other. It was a moment like this that made Kaiser remember how much shorter the boy was as the boy stared up at him with big blue eyes, a different type of flame burning in them.
"I want you to kiss me, Kaiser," he whispered breathlessly in his ear, snaking an arm around Kaiser's neck.
Kaiser knew he wasn't trying to be sensual, but the feeling of Isagi's warm breath brushing against his ear along with their close proximity made an intense heat develop at the bottom of his abdomen. He tried listening to the soft patter of the rain on the roof above them to distract him but it did little to help.
He gulped, unsure if it would be wise to follow his instinct and lean in closer, "Are you sure that's what you want? You said-"
Kaiser was promptly shut up with a finger to his lip, with Isagi letting out a soft shushing sound.
"I know. I'm still scared about what others will think but- I don't know, when I heard you call me by my surname, I felt so sick to my stomach, I wanted to throw up. After that, I thought about you actually leaving me alone and got that same feeling again. I just can't help but feel drawn to you. This is so stupid but," Isagi sighed against Kaiser's skin, bringing a shiver down Kaiser's body, "I want to see if this whole relationship thing can work out."
Kaiser frowned, his body growing rigid, "You're right, that is stupid. I'm not the right kind of person for you."
"I don't believe that."
"Excuse me?"
His hand fidgeting with Kaiser's collar, "I mean, it's true that you're rude and abrasive and self-serving and totally clueless and definitely have a superiority complex and-"
"Okay, I get it!" Kaiser grumbled, pouting at all the bad qualities the boy was listing.
Isagi at least had the decency to look apologetic, "Sorry, got carried away. Anyway, even though you are all of those things and more, you have your good moments. Like earlier when we talked about your time in Japan. When you're not trying to be an asshole, you're actually a cool person to be around. I don't think it's fair for you to write yourself off completely when you have potential. You can at least try to be better for me, right?"
Isagi stared up at him through his eyelashes with the most adorable look on his face, causing Kaiser's breath to hitch. Almost like he was in a trance, he began to take in the entire sight, allowing himself to drink in Isagi's appearance. He noted the identical white dress shirt that clung to his body and was completely see-through at this point. His black uniform pants were equally as tight, outlining the lean muscle on his thighs. A single water droplet that hung off a strand of his hair fell down and landed on his face before slowly gliding down his neck and disappearing into his shirt.
He looked back only to see Isagi admiring him in a similar fashion. Kaiser couldn't help the smirk that tugged on his lip. He grabbed Isagi's chin so that they were making eye contact again, their faces dangerously close. Isagi gaped, seeing how Kaiser's eyes were filled with desire and the want to satisfy it.
"For you, I definitely can."
Those were the last words he whispered before his lips met Isagi's, pulling him into a gentle kiss. Isagi silently gasped, perhaps shocked that it was actually happening before settling into it, following Kaiser's lead. He raised his free hand to Kaiser's jawline while his arm squeezed around Kaiser's neck, eliminating most of the space between them. The kiss was nothing too intense, both their lips still closed and moving against each other in a slow fashion. It was more of an experiment than anything, to test the waters and gauge the other's reactions.
Kaiser had some experience with kissing in the past. Not that he would tell anyone but him and Ness's relationship was less than innocent, being each other's first for a lot of things. He figured Isagi wasn't as while he was equal participating, he was a bit awkward, the presses against his lips being too hard and sloppy. Kaiser didn't mind, however, if anything, he was brimming with excitement. Kaiser hummed with glee as he realized he was probably Isagi's first kiss.
His first, his first, his first. He possessively chanted in his head. Fuck, he was basically on Cloud 9. If he were anyone else, he'd be content with just that, riding the high of a simple first kiss. But he was just anyone, he was Michael Kaiser, a man who only kept on taking what he desired.
Without a word, Kaiser glided his tongue against Isagi's bottom lip, eliciting a shudder from the boy. He then pressed it against the opening, asking for entrance. Isagi gave him just that, obediently opening his mouth and allowing Kaiser in.
From there, Kaiser led the way, just going off of feeling as he devoured Isagi whole. His tongue, his mouth, his body all became his in a matter of seconds. The kiss wasn't a testing grounds no longer, now having grown to a raging battlefield where Kaiser was the victor. Isagi didn't seem to mind having fallen to Kaiser, seeing how his moans got louder as Kaiser laid claim to his mouth.
It wasn't very long until Kaiser's hands began to wander, first to Isagi's tiny waist, rubbing up and down the wet fabric before finding themselves on his hips, giving them a bold squeeze and drawing out another muffled sound of pleasure from Isagi. It was only once the hands snuck under the hem of his shirt and up his abdomen that Isagi took quick control of the situation with a startled gasp, bringing his hands down to the taller man's chest and pushing, effectively ending the kiss.
Now they were stuck in place, chests heaving as they gasped for air. Having been used to it, through the painfully puffs of air that scratched against his throat, he looked over Isagi's disheveled figure. His lips were swollen and spit-slicked from Kaiser's admittedly rough treatment and his eyes glazed over with satisfaction. His shirt had risen up, now revealing the toned muscles on Isagi's abdomen. He had the urge to run his hand over it again but judging from Isagi's reaction, he was not ready for that yet. It was no problem, really, Kaiser had the entire year after all.
Once they both settled down, no one dared to speak. It wasn't like they needed to, a simple exchange of glances was enough to reach an understanding together. So, instead they sat in silence, simply observing each other with a smile on their face.
Well, that's before Isagi ruined the moment, having realized the strangely quiet environment.
"Holy shit, did it stop raining?" He questioned in awe, staring up at the ceiling.
Besides himself, Kaiser held back a laugh, slamming a hand over his mouth to stop it. That proved to be futile as the floodgates were already open and a howl of laughter spilling past his lips, filling the dome with the sound of pure joy.
Isagi blinked at him, confused, "What's so funny?"
"Nothing, it's nothing," Kaiser said as his laugh fit ended, his lips still curled in a bright smile. "It's just funny that it stopped while we were kissing. Could this be a sign that even God wants us to be a couple?"
Isagi stared for a good minute before groaning, bringing a hand up to pinch his nose, "Oh my god, I've tied myself to a fucking maniac. What have I done?" Isagi asked to no one in particular.
"Don't act like that, my dear Yoichi! I know you love me~" He said in a sing-songy voice.
Isagi rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, I do, I admit it. But I'm tired of looking at you so you can walk yourself home now, okay? I'll see you tomorrow," he said, planting a kiss on Kaiser's nose before crawling out of his lap and the dome before Kaiser could even respond.
Kaiser sat frozen in his spot for a good while, the warm touch of Isagi's lips still lingering against his skin. It served as a reminder that what happened just then was real and wasn't some fever dream. Kaiser beamed, pumping a fist in celebration of this newfound relationship.
It wasn't perfect, not by a long shot. But Kaiser was going to try his best. For his and Isagi's sake.
