Takemichi stared at the text message on his phone, his heart sinking with each word. The message was from Sanzu, his now ex-boyfriend, whom he had dated for almost a year. It had been a whirlwind romance, or so Takemichi had thought. But now, everything was crashing down around him.
Tears welled up in Takemichi's eyes as he read the message again. "I'm sorry, Takemichi. I've been cheating on you with other omegas. They're more appealing to me, and your scent just doesn't do it for me. You're ugly, and I need someone better."
His world shattered. How could Sanzu be so cruel? Takemichi couldn't comprehend how the person he loved could hurt him so deeply. Lost and broken, he desperately needed someone to confide in, someone who would understand his pain.
Takemichi's thoughts drifted to his oldest friend, Draken, whom he had known since their gang days. Draken had always been there for him, offering support and protection. Without hesitation, Takemichi dialed Draken's number and poured his heart out, recounting the painful betrayal and the hurtful words Sanzu had said.
Draken listened intently, his grip on the phone tightening with each word. Anger flared within him, fueling a protective instinct he had long suppressed. He had loved Takemichi silently from the moment they met, but he had always been in love with Sanzu, or so he thought. Now, seeing Takemichi's heart in pieces, he realized the depth of his own feelings.
"Takemichi," Draken said, his voice steady but filled with determination, "I won't let him get away with this. He hurt you, and I won't stand for it. You deserve better, and I'll make sure he understands that."
Takemichi felt a flicker of hope amidst his pain, hearing the conviction in Draken's voice. "Draken, I... I never realized how you felt. I always saw you as my best friend, but... I think I've been blind. I need you now more than ever."
Draken's voice softened. "I've always been here for you, Takemichi, even if you didn't see it. We'll get through this together. I promise."
Years passed, and the wounds slowly healed. Takemichi found solace and love in Draken's arms. They built a life together, supporting and cherishing one another. Their bond grew stronger with each passing day, and eventually, they made a lifelong commitment to each other, getting married surrounded by their friends and loved ones.
Together, they created a family of their own, blessed with three beautiful children who filled their lives with joy and laughter. The scars of Takemichi's past slowly faded, replaced by the warmth and love he found in Draken's embrace.
Meanwhile, Sanzu, the one who had caused so much pain, had lost the person he once had and regretted his actions. He realized the true value of Takemichi too late, as the consequences of his betrayal haunted him. In the end, he was left alone, reflecting on the choices he had made and the love he had carelessly discarded.
