Chapter Text
My love was as cruel as the cities I lived in
Everyone looked worse in the light
Craig Tucker, South Park High's resident heart breaker and stoic asshole.
Why was he given the title of that you ask?
Well Craig here had a few relationships, which all ended in flames and disaster (courtesy to his exes for describing). Many girls (and boys too) were absolutely obssessed with Craig, well thanks to his "bad boy" vibe that pulled the bitches into dating him (again, his exes' words not his)
Although he had a couple girlfriends he really didint feel anything for them. He just dated them out of pity (and to brag about to Clyde that he pulls more bitches than him). To him, those relationships were nothing but a summer fling. A cruel love like this stupid mountain town he lived in.
He was now on his 5th girlfriend, which of course also ended in disaster.. By now he was convinced that he just wasn't meant for this whole dating and love shit, there was just no one right for him, everyone was just as worse as Cartman at this point. (well not really he's just being dramatic)
Well, despite his completely stoic demeanor and "bad boy" vibes people described about him, he was totally the opposite. He was just some space obssessed nerd who absolutely adores guinea pigs.
Craig was on his phone scrolling through the hundreds of notifications of people (his ex and her friends) attacking him for yet ANOTHER failed relationship.
"Dwde awreN't ywou gwonnao pred allarhat?" Clyde said, mouth full of chips as he reads at all the notifications on Craig's phone.
Craig groaned "Ugh of course not, and stop talking with you're mouth full its gross and you're getting crumbs on my bed!" craig said sitting up while he throws his phone across the bed.
"HEY I WAUS READIF THTAAT" Clyde shouted as he got crumbs and saliva all over Craig's bed sheets (he totally wasn't sorry for it. Seeing Craig's phone completely un-gaurded by its owner, he saw his chance to read the messages and jumped for the phone across the bed
"DUDE GROSS!" Craig backed away from disgust, but before he could react to the phone stealing brunette, it was too late he was already reading the messages. "Seriously?? Did you have to get crumbs and your nasty saliva over my bed sheets just to get my phone?"
Clyde swallowed the remaining chips in his mouth "Yes." He then scrolled down the notifications and messages of angry girls coming for Craig's throat "HOLY SHIT DUDE! What the fuck did you do to Annie to get them to call you these?!"
Craig groaned "That's the problem! I dont fucking know what i did!" he laid back down on his bed with his hands covering his face "She just told me she was done and I was perfectly fine with that but then these girls started attacking me!"
"I think you just have a skill issue when it comes to rizzing up chicks into staying with you" laughing Clyde then went through Craig's phone without warning
"Dude what the fuck are you doing with my phone??" raising one eyebrow as Craig looked at what his best friend was about to do
"Calling Tolkien duhh" Clyde said as he searched for Tolkien's number on Craig's contacts
"For what?" Craig asked as he looked at the brunette skeptically
"We're going out obviously!" Clyde said cheerily as he pressed call on Craig's phone
"DUDE! I never agreed to this!" Craig tried getting his phone back from Clyde but of course, once Clyde decides on something, there's no stopping him
Clyde then got up as he waited for Tolkien to pick up the phone "Aw c'mon Craig! Are you seriously gonna stay here and sulk over your little break up all day?" Clyde said with those "pleading eyes" he always did whenever he wanted to convince Craig with something
"I was NOT sulking!"
"Sure you weren't" Then right on time Tolkien picked up the phone
"Hello?"
"YOO TOKSS its me Clyde!" Clyde said cheerfully as a pissed off Craig looked at him like he was about to murder him
"Clyde? What are you doing with Craig's phone?"
"He stole it against my will!" Craig shouted, sulking and sitting on the floor behind Clyde
"Was that Craig?" Tolkien laughed on the phone
"Umm noo i think it was Stripe asking for food" Clyde said giggling as he watched Craig's offended look
"EXCUSE ME??"
Tolkien laughed even harder "Okay okay what did you call me for Clyde?"
"Can you pick me and Craig up at his place??? And like i dont know treat us for coffee and food? PLEASEE PREETY PLEASEEE" (God even tolkien could sense Clyde's"pleading eyes" over the phone"
"You just want a free meal dont you"
"Maybe..? BUT PLEASE TOKSS!! Craig won't stop sulking and being a bitch over his break-up ALL DAY! This is the only way we can get him out of the house!"
"I can hear you, you know!" Craig crossed his arms offended
"Oh shit i forgot you were still here BUT PLEASE TOKSS!! Do it for our hopeless dork Craig!"
"Alright, alright I'll pick you both up in like 20 minutes"
"YESS ask Jimmy if he wants to come with us too!" Clyde said cheerfully as he ended the call to face Craig again
"Dude seriously? I dont even like coffee!" Craig, still sitting with his arm crossed
"Aww c'mon it'll be fun!"
"I don't even know where we're going!
20 minutes later Tolkien arrived infront of Craig's house.
"I still can't believe you convinced me to go out." Craig said as he walked over to Tolkien's car
"It's because you love me~" Craig rolled his eyes as they both got in Tolkien's car
"Heyy Jimmy says he cant come because he's practicing for a gig tonight so i guess it's just going to be us three today" Tolkien said from the front seat
"Dude where are we even going?" Craig said looking skeptically at his best friends
"You'll see~" Clyde said in a sing-song way as they drove to their destination
After 7 minutes passed they finally arrived at a coffee shop, much to Craig's irritation
"We're here!!" Clyde said cheerfully as he pointed at the coffee shop infront of them
Tweek Bro's Coffee? "What the hell is this place?" Craig said as he got out the car and walked in the building
"Tolkien said the coffee and food in this place are to die for!!" Clyde said as he happily walked into the coffee shop
"It's true, me and my parents went here before, trust me you'll love it" Tolkien said as they walked to the register to stand in line.
The familiar aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, mingling with the soft murmur of conversations. As they stepped inside, Craig's eyes scanned the room, searching for an escape from his own thoughts, that's where he saw him.
A blonde barista behind the counter preparing a drink for the customer infront of the line.
He had a shock of messy blond hair, his blue eyes were darting nervously as if the world was a constant source of anxiety. And as Craig continued to look at the barista he noticed how he's hands constantly shaked but still prepared customer's drinks so skillfully and perfectly. He also noticed the occasional twitches from the barista.
Craig found himself unable to tear his gaze away. It was as if everything else faded into the background, and all he could see was the blonde boy infront of him. He couldn't explain the pull he felt, the sudden clarity in a world that had seemed dark and hazy. He observed every detail, from the way boy's hands trembled to the gentle curve of his lips. Then their eyes met, It was as if time stood still, green eyes met blue eyes, like this very moment was all Craig wished for, it was golden.
And in that moment there was only one thing Craig could think of
God he's beautiful
