Summary
The year is 1912. Scamp, an almost two year old Terrier/Cocker Spaniel mix, feels trapped in a family he doesn't feel he belongs in. Actually, he feels like the black sheep of the family. He's far more rebellious than his family, and wants to have fun more than to fit in. At this point in time, he's also started dealing with a lot of internal confusion that he doesn't know how to explain. After his latest spat with his father, he runs away and befriends two dogs his age, a Pomeranian and Husky mix named Angel, and a Blue Heeler named Devil, who are part of a junkyard dog gang. After joining their gang however, he's quick to learn of the leader's true colors, along with how dangerous the outside world really is. He also learns more about Angel, Devil, and even his father's past throughout his journey, in addition to more about himself, including something that isn't widely accepted at this point in time.
