Notes:

Hey Guys! Just watched this show and I absolutely loved it. I looked to see if there were any stories about this show and there were sadly only 10 :( Because of these circumstances I have decided to write my own story so here you all go!

Chapter Text

“Kitty, I think I fell in love with you”

That short sentence continued to replay in her remind. This may be a shock to you but Kitty kind of liked Min Ho. If she was being honest the cooking lessons seduced her and ever since then, she could tell she was slowly falling into the beginnings of a crush. She stored this “crush” far deep into her mind because she genuinely thought Min Ho had no feelings. Which might sound harsh, but it wasn't her fault! What else was she supposed to think when all he talked about was his massive skin care regime and the occasional conversation about cooking.

But love? Kitty may be slowly climbing her way up to it but she knew that she wasn't on the level of “love” with Min Ho yet. She saw the potential for love in a relationship with him, and she knew she wanted to pursue it, but she also knew she needed some time. So much had just happened in the span of about three weeks and she needed time to process all of it.

So, being the good communicator she was, she told Min Ho exactly that. In Kitty’s opinion he seemed quite grateful that she had even responded, which was quite shocking because she honestly thought that Min Ho could only look arrogant or annoyed. Before that moment Kitty didn't think that gratitude was something Min Ho could even feel.

Kitty and Min Ho talked throughout the entire plane ride. A lot of it was about them keeping in contact over the Summer. Min Ho put his number in her phone and even started planning out a meeting between them during one of the few months of their break. Kitty almost told him he didn't have to until she remembered that Min Ho had a bank account. A bank account with most likely millions of dollars.

And while talking about their plan for the summer they kept drifting into different topics. At one point they were discussing that if Min Ho came over to her house in Portland then he would have to cook dinner for her and her family. He agreed with no fight, and then asked her what her favorite meal was. This conversation quickly spiraled into a heated debate about what the best dinner was. They argued for their favorite foods and insulted the others for practically half the ride. In the midst of the arguing chaos, Kitty decided that these conversations with Min Ho were nice. Kitty found herself already planning to facetime him and talk about stupid topics with him when she got home.

Kitty realized that she would miss talking to him and even just being near him. At that point she knew she needed to do something about it, so being the matchmaker she was, she began a short plan in her mind.

At the end of the long plane ride which was about 11 hours, the two landed in the Los Angeles airport and Min Ho sadly had to leave. After hours of talking with Min Ho, her crush on him had solidified its presence in her mind. Combined with the fact she liked him and she knew he liked her back she put on a brave face and convinced herself to pull the bold move she was planning for during the last part of the trip.

To begin her plan, she first had to make sure no one could witness her bold move and that she wouldn't be put in an extremely awkward situation so she asked “Who’s picking you up” luckily he replied “My drivers are waiting outside” Pushing away the awe she had towards the fact Min Ho had a personal driver, she enacted part two of the plan.

After picking up Min Ho’s stack of luggage, Kitty started her goodbye. “I’ll miss you, Poopy Baby” she murmured. Min Ho pushed her a little while she was laughing. Min Ho waited until Kitty stopped cracking up from her own joke and then pulled her into a tight hug and whispered “I’ll miss you too”.

Now Kitty had to enact the last part of her plan. As they were pulling away she gave him the quickest peck on the lips that she possibly could. Kitty thought to herself it was so quick that it could probably be a world record for the world fastest kiss. It was honestly really embarrassing how quick the kiss was, but Kitty was still impressed with herself for pulling such a bold move. She knew that the matchmaking gods would still be proud of her.

Even so, when Kitty hurriedly pulled her face away from Min Ho’s he stood stock still in clear shock. Kitty was a little nervous about his reaction, so she tried to slip out of his grip but the movement seemed to bring him back to the present.

Then Kitty felt his smooth lips on hers. They were bruising in their intensity. Kitty leaned into it as they kissed for what felt like half an hour, only leaving his lips when she needed to breathe. The two of them probably looked like an annoying teenage couple to bystanders, but it didn't matter to them.

This kiss was so much different from the ones she had shared with her only other kiss, Dae. She didn't want to be mean, but Dae was an extremely lackluster kisser in comparison to
Min Ho. She had kissed Dae because that's what couples were supposed to do right? Kitty didn't feel as pressured to kiss Min Ho as she had with Dae, and that's most likely why it felt so much different (in a good way). Kissing Min Ho as cheesy as it may sound reminded her about how kisses were described in books and movies. The kiss left Kitty feeling lighter in so many ways that it left her breathless even just thinking about it. The kiss had released a tension in both of them and they were smiling like complete idiots. Oh god, she couldn't wait to tell her sisters

Kitty lent into the taller boys collarbone and said “Goodbye Min Ho, I’ll see you soon”

“Goodbye Kitty” he whispered. One more peck on the lips, this one slower than Kitty’s record breaking kiss, and he was gone.

Kitty was albeit a little sad to see him go but she knew she had nothing to worry about.

She knew she was going to be seeing Min Ho soon. Real soon.
