Vash had been a flurry of activity all day long; the afternoon had given way to the evening in the blink of an eye, and time seemed to stand still for the industrious Omega, whose focus was relentless. It had all begun with the clearing out of a closet, followed swiftly by the organizing of drawers. Then came the scrubbing of the floors. Dirty laundry had been collected into a heap on the bed, though mostly belonging to Nai. Nothing could stop Vash’s unwavering determination.
Nai watched his brother at the convergence point between concern and pride as his Omega prepared their shared space. He had helped when asked. Carry this here, hold this there, wipe this down. Each menial task felt useless compared to the many tasks his heated twin performed. Even still, Nai dutifully performed each chore asked, becoming increasingly impressed as Vash’s vision for the cleanliness of the space came to life.
