Summary
Will Graham has dreams that feel like memories of a life long gone. He dreams of roman soldiers, blood and a boy named Tristan who soothes all his fears and sadness. In those dreams he's called Galahad, and he becomes an arthurian knight alongside his beloved Tristan.
However, in real life Will struggles to make friends or keep jobs, as he is reclusive and refuses to mingle with other people. His dreams are the only comfort he has in a terribly sorrowful life.
He goes into the police academy expecting to be a detective his whole life, but when a incident with a crime scene happens and he's invited to join the Bureau, he accepts. Jack Crawford asks to borrow his imagination and empathy, and he reluctantly agrees to be monitored by one Hannibal Lecter, who bears an unsettling resemblance to his Tristan.
