   Izuku immediately tensed up, “Oh no, I think you’ve got the wrong idea. Kacchan and I aren’t-”

   “Yeah right!” Katsuki started laughing, “Me and shitty Deku? Friends?” He threw his head back in laughter, “Oh man Kirishima, you’re hilarious.” He turned and looked at the tense Izuku and confused Kirishima, “Let’s get one thing straight. Me and that nerd aren’t fuckin’ friends.”

   Izuku looked up at Katsuki, staring into his intense glare. It was almost like there were little flames dancing behind them.

   “Ah, got it, well, catch you later then Deku.” Kirishima waved as he and Katsuki left.

   Izuku felt a pain in his chest. Right. He and Katsuki weren’t friends. High school wasn’t going to change that.
